Ice cream menu that looks delish

I had a hot buttered lobster roll that was one of the best ever! It was next to a gas station and I did NOT want to eat there because there was traffic and no view but OMG it was delicious. I would go back in a HEARTBEAT for another of these lobster rolls. I also enjoyed the skinny fries. My friend had the cheeseburger which had a cute presentation and a nice delicious bun. She was really happy with it. Friendly chef who was also taking the orders today.

Great stop for fried haddock sandwiches and a slice of homemade blueberry pie on the way from the lighthouse. Sometimes the simple on the side of the road places are the best. Large menu offering burgers, chicken, seafood, soft serve ice cream and more. The fried haddock sandwiches were so good. The haddock was so thick and flaky with a light crispy batter. Perfect after a long day hiking in Acadia National Park. Want something different? Try a haddock Reuben. With dressing and cole slaw on rye, so unique and so delicious. Sandwiches are served with a bag of chips or add an order of fries. Don't forget the malt vinegar. Seating is the parking lot on picnic tables. On a Tuesday night, they had a local band playing as well. Nice stop for a laid back family dinner...and don't forget the blueberry pie.

Ice cream is so yummy! I had the blackberry and loved it. I recommend stopping if you're driving by!

The lobster rolls were worth waiting for. It was nice to sit in the open air tables and relax while our food was prepared.

If you're visiting Bar Harbor you have probably seen brochures for Thurston's around town like we…read moredid. after looking at reviews and the menu online we visited on a Saturday for an early dinner/late lunch. There was a long line at the door to order but the line moved fairly quickly. After ordering you seat yourself and your food is brought to the table. We sat in the bar area which was very nice. It seemed like all menu items except for lobsters could be ordered from the bar directly so if you are not planning to order a lobster this could help you skip the long line. We had one lobster dinner and one sandwich with a blueberry cider and strawberry rhubarb margarita. The food was great and service was friendly. Prices seem standard for the area.

We sat right on the dock and ordered live lobster, which is cooked fresh on site. Be prepared to wait a bit, but it is absolutely worth it. The lobster was the best we had the entire trip, enjoyed with ocean views and a beautiful sunset. One tip: get the blueberry pie if they aren't sold out. We ordered a few to share and immediately regretted not getting our own because it was that good. By the time we realized, they were already sold out for the night.

After a day in Arcadia National Park, we saw Trenton Bridge Lobster pound as we were driving home,…read moresaw bunch of lobster pots outside with steam coming out of it and we knew we had to stop by and oh boy we sure glad we did. We ordered crab cakes, 2 large whole lobster, clam chowders, cocktail shrimp, blueberry pie and ice cream. Crab cakes- The crab cakes were the best crab cakes I have ever eaten in my life. TONS of crab in the crab cakes, not just bread. I had to saver each bite. The owner, she told us she is the one who makes the crab cakes every day. Cocktail shrimp and clam chowder- both were ok, nothing special, I wouldn't order it again. 2 Whole Lobsters- Both lobsters weighed in a total of 5lbs all together. Oh man, the boiled lobsters were absolutely amazing and delicious. Tons of meat in the lobsters, great texture, firm and tender. Highly recommend getting a lobster. Blueberry pie and ice cream- To end off a great dinner, the blueberry and ice cream definitely hit the spot. Lots of blueberry, crust was good, and I love how the pie isn't too sweet. OVERALL, I was so happy we stopped and tried Trenton bridge lobster Pound. The staff were great, talked to the owner and she said Saturday was going to be the last day of the season, so we really got lucky stopping by on a Friday right before they were going to close for the season. I enjoyed the food so much, I even bought a hoodie to support, The hoodie is embroidered with there logo on the front. Thank you again for a wonder meal, and I will definitely come back!!

Desert Island's Somes Sound--alone, but the service and food were fantastic, too. We stopped in for a late lunch / early dinner during our Acadia vacation based on a recommendation from a co-worker and we are very glad we did. I had the fish sandwich with fries and a specialty cocktail made with bourbon, ginger beer and honey (I forget the name). The fish sandwich came for way more than enough perfectly cooked haddock and a crunchy and delicious beer-batter crust. The fries we excellent, too (they can so easily be bland and boring, but these were not!) The cocktail was ice-cold (perfect for this hot summer day) and delicious, if a little sweet. My partner had the Mediterranean Plate which came with Grilled Flat Bread, Hummus, Tzatziki, Marinated Cucumber Salad, Marinated Olives, and Feta. She loved all 'the subtle and distinct flavors that went together so well!' Note that Batson River Fish Camp has two locations and is part of Batson River Brewing and Distilling.
