The lovely lady running the cashier was incredibly hospitable, bringing us dishes of water for the dogs and checking with us frequently. We felt very welcome and attended to. The food was pretty good, although not the most amazing barbecue I've ever had. The meat was tender and the sauces were flavorful, but the fries were overly peppered and the beans were a bit bland. However, it still satisfied our hunger so we could get on the road and continue our journey.

The menu is pretty large with everything from sandwiches to pizza and tacos. We ordered a pepperoni pizza and some carne asada tacos. The tacos were amazing and their pico de gallo was very tasty. The pizza was a good size for the price. This place is great. The food is tasty l, the beer is cold, and the seats are comfortable. Most important of all, the prices are absolutely reasonable for the quality and portion sizes. This is a must visit for my return trip to Richfield.

The beers are mostly domestic with only one micro brew selection but there were plenty of national brand choices. The food was home made and not bad for bar food. I had a Pittsburgh cheese steak sandwich that I thought was good. I ordered it with a side salad instead of fries as I had also ordered the loaded Pastrami fries which came with cheese, pickles and mustard on top. It was a bit too rich and heavy for my taste and the flavors didn't really work well together. Maybe without the mustard I would have liked it more. Not a bad place for a rest stop or a reasonable local hang out as well with some decent food.

But, the crème brûlée--it was the best I've ever had--super creamy and smooth and the drizzle of caramel--wow! Everything is homemade and so delicious. I highly recommend the Sagebrush Grill. Admittedly we had arrived very late and I'll assume it's both good and popular since all three had run out. I tipped the 20% because I felt pressured to do so, which I regret. I usually tip 20% if service is good since I had friends and family in the restaurant service industry.
