Me and my Husband haven't been to this place in about 10 years, we were not impressed with the Food. So we were in the area and wanted Mexican Food so we decided to try them again. We ordered a couple of items and they were pretty good. The food came out fast and hot. We were impressed this time and we plan on returning to try other menu items. I took off a star off because they don't give you complimentary Salsa and Chips. We had to pay for them and the Salsa was too sweet.

Service was amazing. The ladies there where very attentive , patient, and efficient. Ambience was clean ok for what it was. The actual food quality could have been better. Tacos reminded me of taco bells tacos.

I love their food and hadn't been in a while so I decided to stop in for lunch. I called my order in and they said it would be 15-20 minutes. When I got there it was hot and ready to go. The service is always good and they are very friendly. If you're expecting the authentic, this is your place but their doin on it is very good. Got my favorite the Chimichanga all beef, spicy with extra cheese. As usual they never disappoint!! So good. My favorite go to spot when I'm in the mood for Mexican.

Supposed to be a taco, very unappealing

Service was terrible, food was not appealing, nor did we get what we ordered. Very disappointing. I've never been here before nor will I go back. I was really hungry too. Now I will have to go eat elsewhere

It was ok. The tacos had a sweet taste to them that I didn't like and it' was alittle oily as well. But the side are good and the fried cheesecake was amazing. Honestly don't think If I would go back but if I do I would try something different

What a disappointment…read more We drove a considerable distance to try Don Tigre Mexican Cantina after seeing all the hype on social media, and it ended up being a complete waste of time and money. The drinks came out quickly, but the food took over 45 minutes to arrive. When it finally did, much of it was cold--not even warm. The biggest issue, however, was the food itself. Everything was incredibly bland and lacked flavor. Mexican food is known for bold seasoning and vibrant flavors, but there was nothing memorable about any of the dishes we ordered. The service was equally disappointing. To top it off, gratuity is automatically added to the bill. While restaurants have the right to set their own policies, it certainly felt frustrating considering the level of service we received. My honest recommendation would be for Don Tigre to stick to what appears to be driving its popularity--the nightlife atmosphere, social media appeal, drinks, and appetizers. If you're looking for a place to have cocktails, take pictures, and enjoy the vibe, you may have a better experience than we did. However, the entrées were overpriced for the quality of the food, and the customer service did not justify the cost. Social media may bring people through the door, but good food and good service are what bring them back. Unfortunately, this experience fell short on both. Long wait times, cold food, bland flavors, overpriced meals, and poor service made this a place I won't be returning to or recommending.

It was a Wednesday but there was only one other car in the parking lot so I just sat at the bar. Dave and Iris waited on me and were very welcoming. It didn't seem like the chips were fresh because it was so dead but I'd expect them to be warm on a busier day. The guac was good and salsa has some kick. I asked Dave what's his face tequila he's into and he said he used to drink the Cabo Wabo quite a bit so we tried that. I love chorizo so anything with it goes to the top of my list. They had a lot of different options of food but I went with the El Gordo burrito. The chorizo was perfectly spicy and I used my leftover guac to put on top which made it perfect. Dave was incredibly nice and we talked about all sorts of things. This was a place that gets five stars because the people working put it over the top. They played music videos from YouTube where I learned who Romeo Santos is so good music too. Worth giving it a shot for sure.

July 2026 update: A second visit to Glyndon Grill was again great but also surprising:…read more What was great: the creamy crab soup, the intrinsic value of the restaurant week lunch package and the service. Everything all of us ate exceeded expectations and also represented a fine value, but the creamy crab soup was truly special. What was surprising: That the restaurant was nearly empty on a summer Tuesday. Yes it was hot out and a weekday. Still, based on the cuisine and experience, they deserve to be packed always. We had made a reservation that in hindsight, we did not need. What else was a little surprising: the staff charitably offered to split our check without even being asked. So often such a request is greeted with sighs or worse. Little things mean a lot! ***** A lunch reservation required on a weekday? Really. At Glyndon Grill, unless you are arriving by say 11:45am, the answer seems to be a resounding yes. By the time we left at 12:30pm, not a speare table was seen. And Glyndon Grill deserves its popularity. What makes a lunch spot (they are open for dinner too) so very popular. Adjacency to the always-popular-and-stellar Santoni's Market cannot hurt, not can the upscale neighborhood, but come for the food and service. I was focused on health-conscious fare, the the menu offered a diversity of intriguing choices. My premixed (with dressings on the side) Cobb Salad was wonderful. I could choose just how much of the mouth-watering fried chicken morsels I did and did not ant to eat, calorically. My tablemate, also watching pounds and inches, got the grilled salmon with broccoli. Neither could have been better. Best of all was our waitress Anne. Ask for her by name. Supreme professionalism dripped from her every word and action. Attentiveness and pleasant without being obtrusive at all. Yes she probably wanted to turn the table (but you could not tell unless you intuited that fact), and we accommodated because her happiness made us happy too.

This bar does not give any presentation or flair to their non alcoholic beverages. Pom and Circumstance was zesty and sweet . The Half Moon drink was nothing more than grapefruit juice with a cherry . I was expecting more presentation since it's literally a tonic. I would like to mention that the bar was slammed with guests and the tables were not getting their drinks on time. So, maybe it was a slippery Sunday night for the bar and my zero proof drinks lacked in pizazz. The watermelon salad was a wild card choice as Glenwoods does not have much fresh fruit on the menu. I wish it was not so chunky ... chunks of watermelon and tomato covered in a balsamic sauce and feta cheese. This salad pairs nicely with the arugula. The sides were hot and came out expeditiously. The burger was undercooked and the server offered to re-Fire a new burger. 5 out 10 night .

Baltimore is coming in hot with the food towers. So I had to try the taco tower here at La Food Marketa. (Similar to the Italian one I had last time I was In Maryland at Franks) I called ahead and asked if they serve it everyday or if they need a heads up (some places do) but this place said, nope. They serve it all the time and don't need a heads up. So that's a plus. This place also does take reservations. I did make one since it was my first time here and didn't know how crowded it gets. Online it does say they are recommended, but not required. It was busy at 6:30 on a Saturday They are located in a private parking lot with a few other places. They do have a very nice outdoor seating area, and it does say online they are dog friendly. We did pick to sit inside. We got sat at a bigger table once they found out we were getting the taco tower Mackenzie, was taking care of us, she was absolutely amazing. It was really packed, and yet Makenzie still refilled our waters and brought out more chips and salsa (warning, rookie mistake. We filled up on chips and salsa before the taco tower came out) The chips were delicious. They were so crispy and fresh. Also, loved their salsa. Now for the taco tower details. It feeds 4-6- and it was just my dad and I And it comes with- CHOICE OF ANY 3 TACOS- (4 of each taco and they had a good amount to pick from) CHIPS & QUESO LAYERED TACO DIP STREET CORN PAN DE QUESO BUFFALO CHICKEN TAQUITOS RICE & BEANS This food tower will run you 125 dollars We also asked if instead of picking 3 different tacos if we could double the birria tacos. Which we were able to and then we got a hard shell taco with short rib Mackenzie was great at making suggestions. She mentioned that their -BROCCOLI BIRRIA TACOS which were, cheesy corn tortillas, broccoli, onion, cilantro, smoky vegetable broth. Were really popular. (Which is great if you're vegetarian) (You can also add a pitcher of margaritas for a good deal) I knew I wanted the taco tower, but this place has a good sized menu to please anyone, tons of cocktails(even mocktails) and Their dessert menu is also pretty big. (Also a good amount of salads here if you're trying to be good / diet restrictions) I did end up having a couple mojitos since it was a cheat day. The only hiccup was, my dad ordered a black cherry mojito and they brought out a blackberry one by accident. They actually let us keep the blackberry one as well no charge. So they were great at fixing the issue. The whole wait staff here was great. The new drink my dad originally ordered came out extremely fast. (I didn't get the name of the server who took our drink order and brought them out. But she was really nice as well Here, at La food marketa, their food was actually as good as it looked. I highly recommend their taco tower and ask for Makenzie
