I should have known better to not ask the price and he never said. It was $10 more for the old vintage... luckily the 2015 wine still tasted good. The ironic thing is, is the 2015 vintage is the year they show on their website for the lower price... that did not make us feel good. They have a lot of wine options, but most of their wines are in the $30 range.

The owners are amazing... They delivered breakfast to our doors each morning and boy were they delicious. While it's a bit of a distance to the actual venue, it was well worth it for the quiet, calm and very relaxing environment. Beautiful property and I wish I had time to use the pool outside. We stayed in the Bella Vista honeymoon suite. I loved it. It allowed my husband and I to talk. There's a calming and clarifying vibe to the room and the place in general. Spacious, clean, and comfortable. I would stay here again if I was in the area 100%. I think about this place from time to time. I actually miss it!

We stayed in South Fork Cabin J, one of the resort's select pet-friendly cabins, and absolutely loved it. It was the perfect blend of camping and glamping with a fully equipped kitchenette including a stovetop, microwave, sink, toaster, dishes, and utensils, plus a private bathroom with a shower, two A/C units, and a spacious living area to relax after a day outside. My Goldendoodle, Bailey, had the best time exploring the property and curiously checking out the river. We loved relaxing in the Adirondack chairs along the water, and there was plenty of open green space along with giant chess, Connect Four, and cornhole. I also appreciated the multiple dog waste stations conveniently located throughout the resort. Check-in was incredibly easy since we arrived after 5 p.m. Our paperwork was waiting on the corkboard at the front gate, and we received our gate code by email the day before arrival. The staff were wonderful, especially Joey, the Reservations Manager, who took the time to recommend local activities, resort amenities, and nearby historical sites. The resort also has beautiful riverfront cabins and campsites, a cute camp store stocked with souvenirs, firewood, and forgotten essentials, plus a unique one-year rebooking policy that lets you reserve the same accommodation for the following year if you fall in love with your stay. We also highly recommend grabbing a coffee and a bite to eat at Argonaut Café. Overall, Coloma Resort is a beautiful, peaceful destination whether you're looking to camp, stay in a cozy cabin, or enjoy a dog-friendly weekend in nature. We can't wait to come back!

Bed bugs in boomtown cabin…read more About 30 mins after laying down the first night my arm started itching like crazy. I went to the bathroom to see what was itching and I had multiple bites in my arms. I went back with a flashlight to see the bed and sure enough all over my sleeping daughter and my bed were bed bugs. I mean 5-6 I could see. We left the cabin immediately in the night and I will say the camp was very helpful in finding us a new cabin and it was a much nicer cabin. I had sent them photos of the bugs in the bed so they confirmed with their pest control person they said. They refunded out first night stay (not both since we stayed in another cabin). I think the one night refund doesn't cover the cost of new sleeping bags, pillows, and clothes we could wear home since all the rest had to be thrown away or bagged up for the laundromat. Just check your beds early in the evening. I am so glad I was immediately itchy and we could address it before brining it home because not everyone reacts to their bites.
