Had a great experience. Went in recently in a bit of a panic. My son's wedding 3 weeks out. My own…read moresuits don't fit due to weight gain. I was looking to rent a suit, but the alterations I would need due to my short and stout frame made renting impossible. Rita was amazing. She calmly went thru stock a few times and found me a suit on clearence (due to discontinued color); and sold it to me at the rental price with all alterations included. Hallelujah! Highly recommend these folks, and ask for Rita!

We went in to get fitted- we probably picked the wrong day the staff was super busy because it was wedding season! (Late June I was there of 2022). We waited as the people ahead of us were taken care of then proceeded to be fitted. I will say right off the bat I have a weird body shape- no jacket seemed to fit right- again weird body shape McGee over here. One of the other tailors freed up and took us right on back to the fitting rooms. He had me sized up in no time and in a comfy suit then went to work on fitting my stepson. After a few minutes we were looking spiffy and comfortable. I watched as rack after rack of groomsmen tuxes were bagged up and labeled ready for pickup, the tailor joked with us both about how crazy busy it was as he fitted us and generally kept us at ease. Suits rented- money paid and off we went. Here's the nice part- the shop was nice enough to let us rent the suits about a week early and when went to return them the shop was closed as the team was off for the 4th of July (well deserved after the craziness I witnessed with the weddings lol). So I called their number and left a message asking what do as I was going on vacation. Maria called me back and told me to not to worry about it and bring the suits in when I got back- there would be no late charge. Good to her word we were not charged and it was an overall great interaction with the shop. They take cash, venmo, and credit- but there is an extra fee for the credit card processing- a sign on the counter states this as well. One downside is there is not seating area in the main shop to wait- but the shop is so full of suits, and tuxes it makes sense why it's not there. Other than that- thank you Russo's for your kindness and understanding throughout the process of rental and return!

DO NOT GO TO CLASSIC TUXEDO. I paid over $200/each to rent tuxedos for my 2 sons for a family…read morewedding. When my younger son went to put on his pants an hour before the wedding, they were 10 inches too short. We looked at the tag- they had crossed out the correct size (the size he was fitted in person for a month ago), and changed it to a length 10 inches shorter. The pants came up to his knees. I ended up at Nordstroms 10 minutes before the wedding buying him new black pants. When I returned the tuxedos, I explained what happened, and the sales clerk was very nice and apologetic. He told me he would talk to his manager and they would call me back. After not getting a call back for 48 hours I called again. The manager said it was my fault for not trying them on, that I had signed a waiver, and therefore she would only refund me $30 (I paid over $200 each- $413 total for rental tuxedos for 2 kids). The $30 didn't even cover the cost of the pants I had to buy him in an emergency. I acknowledge that I signed the waiver and should have had my son try them on, but my 10 year old couldn't miss school to go to a second fitting. I assumed if the length was off, it would be by an inch or two, which was a risk I was willing to take. I didn't expect that Classic Tuxedo would consciously change the size by 10 inches. I am extremely disappointed, and want to warn people to avoid this place at all cost. I don't want anybody else to have the experience we did.

We booked an appointment here during an extended visit I made to Boston because my MOH had heard…read moregood things from a couple of folks. We had a few appointments and I had a couple of plans with family and friends as well in a short time. This must vary based on who you get so YMMV but my experience was incredibly frustrating and a nightmare. Negative customer science and I cannot recommend this place as it seems the issues extend beyond the reported seamstress issues. Come if you like to be hot, thirsty, and frustrated while shopping for something that will cost a couple thousand dollars. *** My friend made a few different appointments for me. Some sort of glitch must have happened but only for this shop and none of the other shops. The appointment booked in PT time zone not ET and because it's in Boston... we all only looked at the confirmation and reminder that said 11am. My friend had noticed the time of 11am but that it seemed like the store opened at noon the night before so it was too late to call to check so we got up early after a late night to head over since it was almost an hour away and I'm definitely not a morning person on a weekend. Of course, we get there and it's closed and I call the number on the front door sign and leave a voicemail. We go on a side quest and come back half an hour late hoping to catch someone and stay for awhile before leaving. No luck. We head off for lunch with a friend and I call again around 1230 to figure out what's going on. Voicemail. A bit later they call back and say got your voicemail and don't know but you're not in our book at all for today and the tone was pointed. What? At this point, I'm incredibly frustrated. No apologies to say hey clearly there is a glitch but let's figure it out. Instead, a terse we don't have you in our book at all. Awkward pause. Do you still want to come? Internally, no but I am in need of a dress so I ask what times are available. It was like pulling teeth. She seemed so annoyed and asked me what time I want to come. We eventually schedule an appointment but I already had a bad taste. I drive back an hour from another commitment and arrive a few minutes late. She doesn't even greet me initially. My friend is there and greets me and catches me up that she's been looking at dresses for me to help get me started. She's great. I don't want to be here at this point especially since it felt as if our person was also standoffish. She finally introduces herself but throughout the visit I cannot help but compare her with the other employee helping another bride's mother. The other woman was friendly, encouraging, and had a few suggestions. My experience did not feel friendly. She helped me in and out of a few dresses but did not seem to understand what I was looking for. I didn't find too many things of interest but don't really hold inventory against stores because it can be pretty variable and unpredictable as to what comes in and what gets scooped up by others. During this process though, another bride comes in. She tries dresses on and was directed to stand on podium we were using so I was standing there waiting while I'm not sure what our person was doing. Did they overbook? In any case, the other woman noticed and offers the other bride's podium for us to see how the dress looks. Our person later suggests I can look through what's on the rack so I start flipping through. At this point, she decides to try to engage me in the time issue. I haven't even raised this with her because I'm just trying to sort out my existing frustration that's been further amplified because the place is hot with no air flow. I'm thirsty, tired, and frustrated. She now states that the time issue wasn't on their side as they had us down for a different time. Wtf. Earlier she told us we weren't even in the book. We figure out the time zone issue and she even says I'm not trying to argue with you but it's not on our side. Lol. I've had enough at this point so I say I don't think it's worth is discussing this at this point. I then stop flipping through the dresses and look at my friend and we leave. Wedding dress shopping is supposed to be fun. You're supposed to feel excited and supported not attacked. It's pointless trying to argue with someone who is not trying to solve something with you but trying to blame you. How hard would it have been to say hey clearly something went wrong and let's figure it out together? Anyways, terrible experience. Never coming back. Not recommended. Have been to 4 other places and they were all pleasant to visit even with varying levels of hospitality. Tulle is a place that does it right. I also liked Marry and Tux. They all reached out ahead of time to personally confirm the appointment, ask about vision to start brainstorming on dress matches, and were super friendly. These other places also felt cleaner and nicer.
