Upon arrival, the receptionist was warm and welcoming and helped validate my Groupon purchase. The sign in process was fairly quick, just your standard dental intake form and I was soon called back to start the process. The dental assistant who administered the whitening treatment was so knowledgeable and kind! She talked me through the whole process, what to expect during and after the procedure, and she constantly checked up on me every few minutes to make sure everything was going smoothly. They also have tv for you to watch during the procedure! My teeth are noticeably whiter and most importantly I only had minimal discomfort. Well.....we have more than one in our household. She billed me wrong 3 times!!! She does a incredible bad job looking up insurance and tries to over charge and a lot of people are probably getting ripped off but not me! I called her out 3 times for over charging and putting in improper codes to insurance company. When I was taking to my room and getting set up for my visit the assistant girl told me how her husband was trying do stuff with her and went on talking so inappropriate. In researching dentists in our area, a friend recommended Dr. Geleris. When we made the appointment it was primarily to get an evaluation to deal with a broken tooth. Had Dr. Geleris just focused on that alone for our first visit, we would have welcomed a plan to get the rest of the work done, pending further "consultation." However we did not engage in any discussion about the scope of additional work needed, Dr Geleris just got to work and my husband could not come up for air long enough to engage in dialogue at all about the scope of work needed. We did not expect to be sabotaged with a "plan" that ran into the thousands on his first visit! What was most distressing is that Dr. Geleris did not speak to us about the scope of the work at all! His office "closer' Sarah proceeded to demand payment on the spot! She was rude and condescending, and her attitude was anything but professional. No "hello, how are you and welcome!" of any kind when we arrived. No consulting with us before callously making a critical (and very costly) decision without our consent! Ok where do I begin, I went in for a Groupon for zoom whitening and came out with a new dentist and cosmetic dentistry. I'm SO happy with my results. Dr. Geleris is very attentive, straightforward and explanatory for each procedure. I went in post Invisalign at a location where I felt unhappy with the results and I was treated like a was just a paycheck. Dr. Geleris immediately noticed the inconsistencies and issues, made a follow up appointment and fixed the cracks and symmetry of my teeth, and even took a new mold for my retainers. This dentist is a crook. I had some work done on minor tooth decay (some sort of sanding and sealing, which he couldn't be bothered to explain besides saying that it was "kind of like fillings."). I'm no expert on teeth, and mistakenly trusted him when he behaved as if the work urgently needed to be done. A few months later I received a bill for THIRTEEN fillings. Geleris did the work in the most expensive way possible, billing me for every little thing. My dental insurance covers fillings, but not so many and not 100% of composite fillings, which is the most expensive kind and coincidentally the only option Dr. Geleris provides. This guy only cares about making money and will provide you with no straight answers. Do not give him your patronage, unless you want throw away hundreds of dollars. read more

I would like to share my appreciation for Dr. Geleris and his staff. I have been his patient for several years as a referral from a client of mine. I have been very satisfied with the quality and expertise of the work provide to me. I acquired two of my grandchildren two years ago. The state provided a local dentist and upon my interview I knew I could not take them there. My grandson, at 5 years of age, had never been to a dentist and his oral care had been next to nothing. His teeth were quite a mess. As best as possible, Dr. Geleris tried to save his baby teeth, although some extractions were necessary. Throughout each process, which can be scary for a little boy, Dr. Geleris would explain the procedure and help my grandson to trust him. I went to this facility on the recommendation of multiple co-workers. So glad I took their advice. I've had excessive fear of dentistry for years, so much so that I neglected my teeth. After facing facts and committing to salvage what's left, I made my first appointment. I was blown away by how pleasant the experience was! He gave me a prioritized assessment of what needed to be done, and I showed up for the first of many appointments. Expecting the usual painful experience, I was a bundle of nerves and tension. Was I ever surprised! First, the local anesthetic shot was gentle. The good doctor has remarkable ability to minimize even this kind of discomfort -- I wouldn't even call it pain, the injection was so on-target and quickly done. Then of course he made sure I was completely numbed before starting. There was a moment while he was working on my teeth and all kinds of sounds and vibrations were emerging from my mouth, that I realized I could relax, because there wasn't the slightest bit of pain. I think I even laughed at one point, because I was so happy and grateful. Who'da thunk it? But I had to have more work done in subsequent appointments, and wondered if the worst was yet to come. Well, the first experience was no fluke: the same skill and attentiveness meant no pain (no pain!!!), even when procedures were more drastic. I actually found myself looking forward to my appointments because of the progress being made. Kind of an epiphany, to realize I could get my teeth fixed without the kind of fear and dread I had in the past. I think I'm realistic enough to know that I could have just been lucky, that on some future occasion a certain amount of pain may be unavoidable. But I trust this guy to do everything possible to minimize it. Everyone else at the office was friendly and professional, too. They did their best at minimizing my expense and explaining the insurance coverage. I think he sanded down my back teeth for some reason and he drilled some black stuff that was on the side of my teeth and put sealings on the side of my teeth. I easily gave him around 2000 dollars on pointless done to my teeth. Stupid Jerk Anyway I left his office for good to go somewhere else in covina. I had those black marks come back at a different spot and the new office just scraped it off for free (with the basic cleaning) and said it was from coffee. The only thing I was happy about at Joseph's Geleris place in glendora (I dont wanna call him a Dr.) are the front desk ladies, they were really nice. I walked in and spoke with the lovely ladies at the front desk. I immediately felt welcomed. The two ladies were polite and professional. Dentist Geleri's came out to the waiting area and introduced himself to me, and he told me he would be helping me out to reduce the pain until his office would be able to get me in for an appointment for a root canal. Dentist Geleri's assistant was cute and all smiles I can tell she loves her job. Dentist Geleri's took care of me, and I was out of his office in less than 30 minutes. Thank you!
