Not very good and very expensive. The toast was hard and cold. The service was slow and the menu was very limited. First and last visit.

Had a another great evening at Josephine's tonight! The owners are always so friendly and they are always there. We enjoyed a few of the Tapas selections at the bar along with a few glasses of wine. In fact they have a great selection of beer and wine. Usually we sit at a table but football was on TV at the bar so we opted for the bar tonight. The bartender was very attentive and was right there making sure we were all set. We enjoyed the HOMEMADE ARANCINI to start which we always love followed by the slider special (bacon, blue cheese, lettuce & tomato) which was delicious, YUM! For dessert they have homemade desserts so we opted for the Lemon Torte' and also took a couple of homemade muffins home for breakfast tomorrow. By the way, they have delicious brick oven pizza here too! We always enjoy Josephine's and its close to home which is a bonus! Can't wait to go back! read more

We were looking for a new date night restaurant with a little different menu. We were very pleased. We decided on tapas and a Caesar salad. They allowed us to split the salad and it was very good. After that we ordered from the tapas menu. We decided on blackened sirloin tips with fried spinach, crab cake, and crab stuffed mushrooms. We were perfectly satisfied sharing these dishes and everything was excellent. The fried spinach was addictive! The staff did a great job and the atmosphere just right. We would like to go back and give the many other menu items a try also. read more

The food was terrible and expensive. Totally uninspired. I make better sandwiches at home. Skip this place a waste of time and money!!!

A new find in Stuart! Welcoming atmosphere, especially out in the patio area. Very relaxing with a band playing and great service. The Tapas are over size for plenty of food and the wine selection was good. A real treat was Andrew Scott playing guitar in the bar, a really enjoyable evening. I highly recommend Josephine's for a relaxing informal meal, terrific service, and entertainment. read more

Bad first experience at lunch today. Took over 30min to get two bowls of lukewarm soup. Np crackers or bread. Understaffed, poor customer service. Wont be back. read more

Unfortunately NOT the "go to" place that I had hoped it would of been. (Please note that I try restaurants a minimum of 3 times before reviewing...) Slow Inattentive service, basic food choices, entrees lacking robust flavor, and way too pricey for it's overall feel and experience. I'm starting to wonder if food establishments in the area are starting to rely on too many mass produced products and Not truly making items in house and from scratch. I could tell that the pancakes were a dry mix... The so called "Fresh fish" had a freezer burn taste, besides being overcooked and dried out (most likely since it wasn't truly fresh). The "famous" burger was not so appealing, as it seemed to lack any seasoning... The pizzas... Well.. Don't try them!!!!! What you receive seems to be chef's choice.. Not quite what was ordered. Certain ingredients listed on the menu did Not appear on the pizza. When inquired about the missing ingredients, the response was unreal... "uh, it seems we were out of it.." So in my experience working in the restaurant industry, when you don't have specific ingredients that are listed on the menu, then you should "86" the item. Don't try to pull a fast one on me!!!! On a positive note, the wines were good. Not great, but good. However, after my 4 attempts at Josephine's, I'm sorry to say, this establishment is OFF my list. Oh, one final note, the desserts were most definitely mass produced!!! Nothing fresh about them..... read more

employees have no idea what's going on made a reservation for nine possibly 10 people 6 o'clock first two people showed up 5:55 I arrived at 602 , we eat there every week always sit in the bar area almost always have six or more people the hostess said your tables upfront I said we never sit up front I walked into the bar eight senior citizens were sitting at the table with two empty chairs clearly the table set up for 10 people and that someone had my last name is very improbable walked up to the front to talk to hostess she said your tables upfront she lead me upfront where there was a table of eight already seated with another eight top jammed in beside them with not enough room to get between the chairs by this time our guests have arrived ,we tried to make the best of things until guest 9 and Showed up they crammed a chair at the end she opted not to eat anything in those conditions had a couple drinks ,one of our group went to the rear of the restaurant and the eight top that was in our original table we had reserved had already left three of our crowd decided it was too hard to even get a drink so they left the six of us sat and drink some wine spent a lot of money food was OK, served all at once salad and dinner,hostess and whoever took the reservations had no idea what they were doing henceforth don't think will be going back there it's too many good restaurants in this area ! read more
