Great drink selection! We loved the apple walnut salad and the beef tenderloin was perfect! Definitely recommend it for A nice relaxing dinner! One more thing order the best cider donuts anywhere -it is a bowl full!

Filet of Beef with Red Wine Jus Roasted beef tenderloin, potato pavé, roasted baby carrots, charred leek

Such a unique dining experience... Elegant, yet somehow so comfortable at the same time. Chef clearly knows his way around his kitchen. Excellent food served in a kind caring and respectable way. The owner is nearly always there. He is engaging with his customers and has built very strong relationships with his regulars. It's wonderful to see.

If I could this would be closer to 3.5 stars - few too many issues to earn that full 4.0 star. The food was great, plain and simple... However, our server was barely average, the prices are way too steep based upon the locale/market values and the restaurant is a bit too small and pushed together thereby killing the ambiance for our group. Would I go back - yes. Would I pay to go back - probably not!

Stuffed pork chop. Half way through dinner.

Definitely worth checking out! It's a small restaurant so groups get reservations! Sitting at the bar wasn't an issue for a single or couple. Service was attentive. I had the stuffed pork chop which was everything I was hoping for. I would return!

Filet Mignon

This place is amazing! The atmosphere, music, and staff are exceptional. Our server was so polite and lovely and the owner even came to our table to thank us for coming! The food was phenomenal. The cheese curds are the best I've had, and the fries were so good texture wise and flavor too! Mac n cheese was incredible. The filet mignon was tender and flavorful. It was cooked perfectly to order. I'd HIGHLY recommend

We were disappointed with the "Skillet cookie." It did not even come in a skillet! The Horseshoes were really only Ponyshoes.

She even made a point to walk around and check on each table, making sure everything was perfect--that kind of attention really stood out. I ordered the Thai pork bowl, and it was absolutely packed with flavor--perfectly balanced with a little heat, a touch of sweetness, juicy pork, and a satisfying crunch from the coleslaw. The sauces tied everything together beautifully. My wife got the chicken ranch sandwich and couldn't stop raving about it. I took a bite myself and was seriously impressed. The chicken was incredibly juicy and flavorful, the bread was outstanding, and the candied bacon took it over the top--truly next-level. This sandwich was done right. To finish things off, we tried the oatmeal cream pie cookie, and it did not disappoint. It was soft, perfectly baked, and full of rich flavor. I even had to grab a side of that candied bacon to go--it was that good. We'll definitely be back.

Get the bread - you won't need it (the bowl is huge), but they make it and grill it and it is delicious. Get a cookie to have later (I ate mine over the course of 3 days). I recommend the chocolate peanut butter. The service is friendly and efficient. Ambience is okay. It's busy and the seating is a bit uncomfortable and tight, but they did maximize the utility of the space.

I visited Boyd Generation Cafeteria today and had a disappointing experience from start to finish…read more The young lady who took my order at the drive-thru was polite and professional -- she was honestly the only bright spot of the visit. But when I got home and started going through my food, I realized something was off. I noticed what I thought was an extra dessert in a flimsy plastic container, but when I looked closer, it turned out my baked dark meat chicken was missing -- the main part of my order. I called twice. No answer. Straight to voicemail. Voicemail was full. So I drove all the way back, tried to go inside -- doors locked. Got back in the drive-thru line and explained the issue. Then the woman who I assume was the owner or head cook came to the window, and instead of addressing my concern professionally, she hit me with sarcasm and attitude -- as if I was out of line for coming back for food I paid for. She insisted she personally packed the chicken and tried to make it seem like I was the problem. When I mentioned there was a container in the bag that looked like pie, she snapped that they didn't serve sweet potato pie that day. Eventually, she handed me what looked like a pie container and told me to open it. Sure enough, it was the chicken -- but it was so dry and shriveled, no wonder I mistook it for a slice of pie. At that point, I told her flat-out: I'm never coming back. To that woman -- if you're reading this -- your behavior was unprofessional, your customer service was dismissive and hostile, and your food wasn't even worth the trip. Mistakes happen, but instead of owning it, you doubled down with attitude and dry chicken in a dessert container. Word of advice: stop assaulting your chicken. Inject it with something buttery, juicy, and respectful before putting it out in the world. Because nobody wants to eat food that looks and tastes like regret. I will not be returning, and I'll be warning others to stay far away.

Still my all time favorite soul food spot. I love going to Springifled for work and dinning at…read moreBoyd's for over 20 years now. You can't go wrong with anything you order. The staff is excellent.

It's been awhile since I've visited this location, it was nice to be back and enjoy some favorites! Everyone at the table enjoyed their meals, had a great time and appreciated the birthday acknowledgment. The steak bites, Caesar salad and other dishes came out timely and were delicious! I'm still trying to get used to the packaged peanuts, the switch up around the tough time from 2019. Special shout out to our server, Clayton! He was very attentive, engaging and knowledgeable! He made the dinner experience (and birthday experience) very exciting and fun! Another server, Lonnie was also a joy and very hospitable. About 30 minutes into our wait a member of their staff came to inform us of a "mishap" with our order but they were working on our order and that our meals would be COMPED. 30 minutes later our orders arrive - my medallions were perfect...the kabobs - both ends were charred black. By that time we had had a few drinks and just ate what we could. I saw that you could pay on the device on our table, I opted to split the check with my friend so I paid for half. When she looked at the check to pay her half she realized they comped NOTHING. So we called manager over and he gave me a $15 coupon and provided a $15 off my friend's total. So...VERY LONG wait, charred kabobs and not coming back.
