Dr Randall is fantastic. But his front office does not ever pick up the phone. They do not respond to messages. They say to send a text but it's been 5 days and no response to 4 messages. I am just looking to refill a prescription. This is always the issue with this office. I know someone from there monitors these reviews, so maybe they will see this and do something to change the very poor customer service. Again, Dr. Randall himself is fantastic- but his office support needs serious work. Edit: I finally got someone on the phone after calling and messaging for 6 days, and this issue is now resolved. I added a star because I think Dr Randall is top notch. Thank you to the COO for checking in, I truly appreciate it, and my issue is now resolved. But this isn't my first time spending days to reach customer service. It would be great if more attention were paid to responding to patients. read more

Dr Randall has a pleasant personality. He's easy to communicate with and listens to my concerns. When discussing an upcoming procedure he took me to a chart to show me exactly what will be done and how. He has performed other procedures on me over the past several years with excellent success. My experience with Dr Randall was really good - I was in for a consultation & he throughly explained the problem & all the pros & cons of having surgery or not having surgery . The decision was that surgery was not needed at this time but if the situation changed re-evaluate ! Keep in mind this is a large practice and as well, your provider most likely will be providing some scary news to clients. Very well organized practice. Dr. Randall is very personable and takes his time providing detailed information on your condition. So, sometimes you wait a few more minutes. My father was a patient of Dr. Randall's - his bed side manner is poor, but my complaint is deeper than that. My father died three weeks after the surgery Dr. Randall performed. He was very sick going into surgery and in no way am I suggesting he died as a result of Dr. Randall's surgery. Three weeks after my dad passed, the office left me a voicemail to share they would issue a refund for the surgery deposit since the surgery occurred. I shared the necessary information and the office confirmed the matter was closed. Three weeks later I received a bill for the exact amount that was refunded and the subject line was surgery deposit. This was obviously upsetting but I called the office and said I understand mistakes happen, and they clarified it was ok to ignore it - no money was owed, it was in fact a mistake. Literally no joke three weeks later I receive another bill for again the same amount with the subject line surgery deposit. This is just an irritating issue regardless of someone being deceased or not, and a sign of an unorganized medical practice with also very poor customer service skills - in zero of the conversations was a simple "I'm sorry for your loss, that was our mistake" uttered. Instead it was me saying I understand issues happen, no worries, and no acknowledgement of that. Then you add on the fact that my dad did pass and I'm playing chicken with a billing department of a subpar urology office? No thanks. read more

Physician Randall is very knowledgeable, terrific surgeon, friendly, competent, bed side manner is excellent, and he listens with a very open question and answers period during every examination. 10 years ago Dr. Josh Randall treated my husband for bladder cancer. Today was a big benchmark for my husband, when Dr. Randall delivered the news that he no longer has to have cystoscopies annually because he has been 10 years cancer free! Praise God! Dr. Randall also took care of my son when he was 26 now 34. Dr. R diagnosed and treated my son when others didn't know what was wrong. He's been healthy ever since!! Cystoscopy required as a pre-op by another doctor was done with care and precision Office staff on site have always been pleasant. Communications are problematic. I saw multiple urologists in Orange County, but none were able to provide me with a long-term solution for my recurring urinary tract infections. At best, I experienced six months of relief before the infections returned. UTIs became a normal part of my life, and I resigned myself to frequent urgent care visits for antibiotics. I had a cystoscopy with Dr Randall in 2025 in Mission Viejo. My experience was very painful, and I remember crying out during the procedure. Afterward, I experienced complications that also affected my mental health. Based on my personal experience , I am giving one star. read more

Dr Randall is a first class surgeon. That being said the office operation is the worst I've ever experienced. Phone calls are on hold for a minimum of 45 minutes to an hour. The new OCU portal is no help as no past results or appointments are posted. Text messages are never answered. Dr Randall can't see me for three months after my surgery and that has to be a video call. read more
