My husband and I went here on Superbowl Sunday 2012. The food was great and we really liked the views. The prices were excellent and well worth the drive from Carlsbad. We experienced a problem a 3 days later with our cc. We noticed an unauthorized charge on our cc to Tracfone (apparently this is a pay as you go phone plan). It was a small amount $10.20. I'm NOT sure if the problem occured at this restaurant, but it was the only place we were at that weekend where we paid our tab with the cc and the cc left our table so the server could run the cc through the machine. We contacted our bank and they can canceled our card and will be issuing a credit to our card. Like I said, we do not know if the problem occurred here but just be on notice if you do go there. We will be back to the restaurant but this time we will pay in cash just in case. read more

I really love this place because of the location and the food. We went yesterday afternoon at around 2:00. The hostess was extremely rude and unhelpful. They waiter was slow and stood around and talked to other staff half the time. He was very aloof, unfriendly, and uninterested. There were maybe 4 tables taken with two servers on. We didn't see him 3/4 of the time. It took 2 hours for lunch for basic sandwiches. As always, the food was great. This 2-star rating is for the service which seems to be a popular complaint reading these reviews. read more

Ordered the steak salad, and it was just ok. The steak portion size was very small and there were just a few pieces of asparagus and roasted tomato. My wife ordered the Caesar salad with grilled salmon, which was excellent. The grilled Ahi salad was very good, but needed wasabi in the dressing (or on the side). The service was very good. I have been here for breakfast several times, and would say it was 4-5 stars. Lunch seems to be in the 3-4 star range based upon the feedback from our party of 9. The three star review is for lunch only. I would recommend that you definitely check this place out for breakfast. They don't serve dinner here, you will have to go to the main casino for that! read more

Brought a friend visiting the area to have dessert. Journey's End is the most attractive restaurant in the area. We ordered tea, coffee and 2 molten chocolate cakes. Waiter returned after 5 minutes to say there was only 1 chocolate cake left. So we changed 1 order to the lemon tower. I mentioned that this was the third time I had been here that they didn't have the chocolate cake. Seems they never make enough. We got the coffee and hot water and a cup for the tea, but no tea bags. Took a few minutes to get the waiters attention, then he brought the tea box. Another 15 minutes pass before the desserts are brought out. The chocolate cake was good, most of the lemon tower was fine, except for the center, which was hard and dry. It would have been nice to have more coffee and have him come by the table to see if we enjoyed our desserts, but he never showed up again! After finishing the dessert we waited for our check. Waited...waited... had to ask a woman, who might have been the manager for the bill. I mentioned to her, "bad service." She delivered the check and we left a small tip. This was the third unpleasant experience at Journey's End and it will be the last. read more

I was eating here with my family last week, and we normally have an excellent experience the several times we have come. Recently, since we have noticed new management it has been less than par. "Ellio" was sent to our table when we received our food wrong. He was unwelcoming and you could tell he did not want to be talking to us. He unwarmingly apologized and said he would correct our food. We thought great whatever no big deal. It was early afternoon and maybe 3 other tables were in the whole restaurant so it was pretty quiet. So when he went back into the kitchen and we HEARD him complain about how picky and demanding we were! All we wanted was a well done burger without any pink! My son gets very grossed out by "uncooked" meat, sorry for being such a burden!! It made us feel very uncomfortable. We will not be returning because we do not feel welcome. I was very upset. I came there to eat and sat next to two men that worked there. All I heard was cus word after cus word out of their mouths. The other gentleman was talking negative about the employees that worked with him. As I was getting ready to leave I happen to glance at their name tags . One read Gary and the other read Alex. I was able to read one tile and it said maintenance manager. They made it a very unpleasant experience and my wife and I don't think we will be coming back to eat here again. read more

This is a beautiful way to start the day, with a sweeping view of the golf course. The atmosphere is warm and inviting and the staff really welcomes their guests. I had the Belgian waffle with fresh blueberries, and it was the best I ever had. There was a festiveness to it, with an artistic dollop of flavored whipped cream in the center. I also ordered the ham steak, quite large and perfectly grilled. My husband loved his omelet, as well. Our server Veronica kept our coffee cups filled and our meal was served promptly. There are many great breakfast spots in Temecula, but for an upscale yet reasonably priced treat, I look forward to returning to Journey's End. read more

Wonderful food. We have been here a few times and the service and experience has always been exceptional. Great location and views of the course, and very relaxing. They have wonderful iced tea (fresh brewed at your table!) and their Bloody Maria's are to die for. A little disappointed in bartender "Mark" today. No greeting for 10-15 minutes. The manager greeted us and apologized, and even gave us a free shrimp cocktail for the inconvenience (so delicious, and we were very thankful) A different server named Joshua took great care of us. Kudos to great management, maybe Mark was just having an off-day. We'll be back for more yummy food. read more

Food is "okay". Two of our party had breakfast; the 2 egg plate and the other an omelette. The third had the shaved prime rib sandwich. This is going to sound typical but if I can give this place a zero star that's what I would've given them. We came for a simple brunch not with high expectation but this place is just wrong in every way. Husband and I ordered 2 brunch entree, a side of corned beef hash, and a side of waffle fries. Took a while for our meal to come out but its ok we didn't mind since this was such a relaxing place. When our order came out the food wasn't too bad but it wasn't great either. My toast never came out and so did the corned beef hash. We told our server and she said the chef had made a ham steak instead and by now we were about done with our meal so we told her we don't want it anymore. I also reminded the server that I never got my toast and she said she would go check. She came back with the corned beef hash and said look they made it so I brought it for you guys and by now we didn't care to take it. So my husband asked if we were being charged for this and the server said oh, I can check with my manager to have this taken off, mind you we're not the type to try to get free meals. The problem for me is that she has the audacity to charge us for it. I told her look I don't want it anymore so I'm not taking it so then they took it off the bill. Now for my toast, it came out cold and hard as a rock. I mean I have never seen anything like it. It's definitely something to laugh at. This place is a JOKE. Talked to manager, he apologize but I could tell he didn't seem to care. I get better service at Denny's and other local cheap diners. read more

We have now been to Journeys End three times. The service, special ice tea experience and great food kept us coming back...well...NEVER again! The service was horrible. We never got water, had to wait a ridiculous amount of time for drinks...they didn't even have their special ice tea available! So disappointed! Our food was over 45 minutes getting to our table. It came cold and soggy and tasteless. We asked for lemons three times and finally got them...everything seemed like a big effort to the servers. I didn't even bother asking for salt and pepper. Melinda was our server. Not good! We drove two hours to enjoy a nice meal. HA! read more

Probably one of the best breakfast/lunch spots to enjoy for the food, service and view. We live across the street from Pechanga and enjoy visiting for brunch just about every Sunday. kinda embarassing cause I dont even have to tell the waitress my order. We get the same waitress so she has it down but the menu selection is hugh with a varitey of choices and all at a resonable price. The mexican food selection is wonderful and the salsa is kitchen made on site. The service is amazing and they go out of the way for customer satisfaction. Hector the manager always comes by to say hi and makes sure everything is being handled,which it always is. Alex keeps the table clear of any dishes or refills that are needed in a quick manner and the girls at the hostess desk always greet us with a smile. They offer outside seating which is umbrella covered and has a view of the golf course that shouldn't be missed. If you love Sunday sports you can enjoy one of the many TV they have through out the restaurant and the bar aera. The TV's are nicely placed to be viewed or if your not into sports, its not like they are right in your face. Dont forget to check out the monthly specials and desserts they sometimes offer...One time they were offering homemade ice cream sandwich with chocolate chip cookies sandwiching vanilla ice cream and a berry sauce for dipping....wow, super good! best example of customer service: i ordered a bowl of cottage cheese and pineapple....they were out of cottage cheese but had went to Pechanga storage (cause the clubhouse is on property but not connected) and picked some up for me.......too amazing of service!!!!! read more

We always look forward to our Sundays at Journey's End right after church. Whether it's just my wife and me or siblings, adult kids, or grandkids joining us. We have even reserved the back room for a special birthday celebration. What immediately will take your breath away will be the aesthetics and ambiance whether you choose to dine inside or outside on the patio. From the inside you'll be looking out the multi-level wide windows toward the golf course and small mountain. You'll be greeted by a team of girls that always wear a smile on their faces and will never forget to ask how your day is going. The breakfast is one of the best in Temecula and if you have a player's reward card you may get a discount too! Our favorite thing about Journey's End are the people. From management to our girls at the front that seat us, there is a genuine caring that comes with these employees. They always make us feel special. Lastly, Journey's End would not be the same without our favorite waitress Filippa. The other waitresses have done a great job with us but Filippa is a gem. She has probably helped us almost 99% of the time and we request her. She has the best caring personality and loves to laugh. She remembers names of our family members that dine with us from out of town. She is more than our waitress she is like family. There aren't too many people in this world that have such a big heart. I will close my review by saying that I hope that you enjoy your experience at Journey's End but please don't request Filippa Sunday morning's as that is our time with our favorite server :) read more
