Tim and his team took my wife's 2025 Honda Civic in for hail damage and did a superb job. Their…read moreattention to detail was fantastic. It shows that everyone there has a ton of pride in the work they do. I kept it local and so glad I did. I highly recommend Lynch Auto Body, not for just the work they do, but also how they treat you. The car was very beat up and it looks like it just came off the lot.

reckless and fictitious review? That is where you are false Tim. I have our conversation recorded,…read morewhere you admitted to leaving my car unlocked And were unapologetic. Copy and paste the link to hear your first story. Do you need a reminder of our conversation on 1/6/25, where the story changed? I have that audio. https://www.facebook.com/share/14kzKs9Ew4/?mibextid=wwXIfr I had to have my insurance company follow up with you to see if my car was complete. As you can see from the texts, that was on 1/6/25. I picked up my car on 1/6/25. Your statement about "not releasing" my car due to me not paying is false. I was in an insurance covered rental car. Do you really think they are going to continue to pay for my rental knowing my car is complete? Not once did I deny to pay my bill, which was only my deductible, mind you. You stated you couldn't waive the deductible because that's illegal. I never asked you to waive it. Also, where did you get the information that I had auto body work done and didn't return to that shop? Because that is also false. This is my first claim. I've had the same insurance company since 2012. Should I contact my insurance company and get my claim information/history? And you saying I tried to take advantage of a small business? Far from, again, I chose your business because of the number of years you have been in service. I chose to shop local and support a small business. I will not let you bully me or defame my character because I simply posted my experience with your business. If you don't want a negative review, treat your customers better. As you can also see from attached pics, Tim likes to private message his customers and name call.

Since I'm the first review I'm going to kick off Dave & Steve with 5-stars... but I do have some…read moresuggestions that might improve the customer experience: 1.) Paint parking lines- I wasn't exactly sure where I was supposed to park 2.) Post wifi details/instructions somewhere in your waiting area 3.) Wear a "uniform" of some sort, at least something displaying your name so that you're not mistaken for a patron 4.) Public restroom available? No indication in your waiting area. 5.) Inform customer of expected wait time, took about 45 minutes for my oil change These are fairly nit-picky but would improve the customer experience a great deal, at least for somebody like me. My other suggestion would be to communicate more clearly and in better detail- I was surprised that no recommendations were made during check-out, this is usually when I'm informed that my brakes "have a few thousand miles left in 'em" or whatnot. Maybe there were no actual concerns... though I have my doubts. Anyway, thanks for putting in a repair shop in the area! I'll be back again.

They promptly called back with a (reasonable!) estimate about an hour after I dropped off my car, and were willing to fix it same day. Friendly, knowledgeable service all the way around. Dave & Steve are great - so happy to have found a trustworthy auto shop in the Madison area!

How do you know you have an honest shop? When they, like a…read moredoctor, tell you that you have a terminal hospice patient and not something they can cure. I have never had a more honest shop. The news I got was terrible-tied with serious sentimental value-the answer I got was honest. I had to convince them to do the work to make it safe to drive-knowing there was no cure. Then they do it in record time, charge me less than others would or quoted and were nice as could be. They explained the in detail what they could and could not cure, advised that I not invest and after significant pressure offered a middle path. They stayed opened late to accommodate, did amazing work and did it well. I love this shop. You will too.

Don't let the other reviews fool you. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this shop or…read moreits staff. I brought my car in on August 10th for an oil change, tire rotation, and to check a service light on the dash. About an hour later I got a call about it, and was given an outrageous quote to repair the root cause of the light, which turned out to be my alternator. On that call I wasn't given any real explanation or even a breakdown of the cost. That's also where I learned about a diagnostic fee I would be charged even if I went ahead with the repair, something I was never told about upfront. I declined the repair. After that call, I got quotes from a dealership and two other local shops for the same alternator repair. DiMaggio was going to charge me roughly 30 percent more than the dealership and nearly 70 percent more than the other local shops. Nobody called to let me know my car was ready, so I showed up assuming it was done. At pickup, I was charged for services I never approved, with no explanation until I pushed for one. My invoice said I had been given a courtesy vehicle inspection, but I didn't actually receive the results until after I had already complained. When I asked for the manager's contact information in person, I was handed a business card with an incorrect email address on it. I had to track down his correct email myself just to reach him. He did call the following day, and I'm giving 2 stars instead of 1 only because of that call, but the conversation mostly defended his team's handling of things rather than offering any real path to fixing it. Because of that, I ended up taking my car to another shop instead. This experience was more than terrible. It didn't make sense on paper or even in person. Avoid this shop if you can.
