There are many elderly patients who endure many hardships and to have this man treat the elderly in this manner is unacceptable and heart wrenching to realize bad doctors are really out there! Hopefully one day he will be removed from practicing medicine and he realizes his mind set needs to be reevaluated and utilized in an environment that doesn't involve seeing patients (no pun intended but indeed very fitting) to ensure no one else has to endure the potential infectious illnesses that he may cause as well as his baffling disturbing behavior. Unfortunately he is the reason people fear going to a doctor. Never until now have I seen and felt an intense toxic environment at a place where it SHOULD BE safe and helpful. One bad apple can certainly spoil the entire establishment! All the other doctors should really stop, look, listen and pay extra attention to the way their business is being run starting at the front desk (no complaints there, but observed unhappy workers, over scheduled patients leaving upset) Hope this review helps others and if you witness something even if didn't happen directly to you, please help by reporting/sharing it.

Dr. Chi performed a very comprehensive exam and took the time to explain her prognosis in detail, which really put my mom at ease. She left feeling like she had an "upgrade" in her vision with her new lenses. I would definitely recommend Dr. Amy Chi to anyone considering an eye exam.

I returned for a re-examination and waited another two weeks. When I came back today to pick up the new glasses, the frame was extremely wide. The staff tried to adjust it, but it didn't help. When I asked to try another pair (wanted to compare) I was told that it was only the display frame and that if I wanted a brand-new one, I needed to specify that. This was the first time in all the years I've been a patient that I heard something like this. I said that a brand-new frame would be great. I paid over $400 after insurance (which is very good), and now I'm expected to accept glasses that will only become wider after a few weeks of wear. I am very disappointed with how everything turned out and am seriously considering changing to a different place. I hope the manager will help to resolve the issue, as I was told today that the manager will contact me next week

As an artist, my eyes are especially important to me. But before undergoing cataract surgery, I…read moredidn't really dare, or even want to call myself an artist. My severe nearsightedness and astigmatism kept getting worse, and I was seeing less and less clearly. I blamed it on a lack of talent, thinking this was simply the limit of what I could ever become. Through a friend's recommendation, I met Dr. George Yang. After a thorough examination, Dr. Yang confirmed that the only way to improve my condition was through cataract surgery. Even then, I still had many doubts. Surgery is an invasive treatment, and I was afraid that if it failed, the rest of my life would become very difficult. Whenever I hesitated and couldn't make up my mind, he patiently returned my phone calls and answered all of my questions without irritation. Eventually, I overcame my fears and decided to move forward with the surgery. Following Dr. Yang's recommendation, I chose a special lens that had been introduced at his clinic about a year earlier -- one that allows the prescription to be adjusted up to three times after surgery using light treatments. The surgeries went very smoothly: first my right eye, then my left eye two weeks later. I chose distance vision correction for both eyes. The surgeries were performed at Peninsula Eye Surgery Center, where the medical staff took wonderful care of me. After the surgeries, Dr. Yang examined my eyes again and again to determine when my vision had stabilized enough for the light adjustments. During the process, he also helped me decide to have my weaker eye assist more with near vision while my stronger eye focused on distance vision. He prescribed Xiidra eye drops to stimulate tear production so that the measurements of my vision would not be distorted by dry eyes. I could truly feel how seriously Dr. Yang took my treatment. He never rushed through the three light-adjustment sessions simply to complete my case. On the contrary, because there are only three opportunities for light treatment and the benefit becomes limited afterward, he used each session very carefully. If the measurement on a given day differed significantly from the previous visit, he would ask me to continue using the eye drops and wait until my prescription stabilized before proceeding with another adjustment. This process stretched over more than a year, and I am deeply grateful for the professionalism, compassion, and patience Dr. Yang demonstrated throughout my treatment. Now, I have recovered very well and can see clearly again. I can drive without glasses, and if the print is not too small, I can even read without reading glasses. Best of all, when I paint, I can finally distinguish subtle variations in color. I used to think my abilities were lacking, but now I realize there were many things I simply could not see before. Now that I can truly see, I also feel more confident in myself. I introduce myself as an artist, because I finally believe I can achieve a certain artistic standard. I am deeply thankful to Dr. Yang for giving me a brighter future and a better quality of life.

Lol apparently I need to see a medical eye doctor in order for them to check out my eyes before I start a new prescription medication. This particular doctor was really nice and Did the examination for me anyways granted I'll have to make another appointment with my PCP and then see another eye doctor. Well, at the appointment I could pay extra, I think it was 40 or $60? Yet I decided to do the picture of the backside of my eye to see if I would potentially have anything wrong. I decided to do that just because I haven't been to an eye doctor in about five years. Turns out the picture showed that I will need reading glasses in the next 10 to 15 years! So cool!! I didn't know cameras could project that! Science is amazing! I forget the eye doctors name. But I know they told me he was the Chinese doctor. I'm not too sure if he is actually Chinese or just speaks Mandarin and or Cantonese, but certain people requested him. I will have her say he was a younger looking Asian gentleman, who is very helpful!! I will definitely come back here again!
