I also have a long haired cat who sheds a significant amount, and they were able to remove hair from places I had never even thought to look. From the kitchen countertops, to the appliances, blinds, bathroom, baseboards, ceiling fan, and more - they did not miss an inch. But when I got into bed last night- the cleaners left when they "blew a fuse" and prevented me from working- there was GARBAGE piled up ON MY BED. WHERE MY PILLOW IS. There was also garbage on the night stand and boxes randomly piled everywhere. They did not do the living room but J called and told me I could pay more for them to do the mopping they were supposed to do. It sucks because I need a regular cleaner and I have this important event and now a wake today and I am scrambling to do this work that wasn't done. But the garbage in my bed was just ... so awful. I've never experienced anything like it. I loved that D. tried hard to get someone here but one of the cleaners just did not want to clean. The other was nice but she can't do it all herself. So now I have to take off work and clean for a job I spent hours arranging. I do get my house cleaned about once a month. The toilets and baths needed scrubbing (stuff cleaners do) and floors needed mopping (again, stuff cleaners do) but the house was not in condition that more than three hours is needed. She comes twice a month to clean and do laundry and we pay her a flat rate of $70. She did an excellent job and was very communicative when she noticed something in the fridge had gone bad or had she a small supply request. She was also a friendly, welcome presence in the apartment. We've tried a number of different options over our years in New York, and Anna's really hit the sweet spot of quality and price. She said she had been outside the building but didn't have my cell number to call me and had to wait for someone to come out. This was unfortunate because I left instructions that I don't have a call box and that my cell needed to be called to let the cleaner in. PREVIOUS POST (before they no-showed a second time and failed to issue the refund they promised) I've used this service 3 times now. They do a great job and bring their own cleaning supplies. There was a tech issue with my third appointment, and the customer service in rectifying it was incredible, they offered to refund and also set up a follow up cleaning appointment. It is the best customer service I've experienced in a long time!
