We've been looking a Joybird furniture for years and finally decided to upgrade our couch for our new house. We had a box of swatches we picked up from the LA store this summer so I started to look and went to the site. I was sure I really liked the Bryant. It looked extremely comfortable online and had the most amazing reviews I've ever seen for a couch. WE recently got a showroom here in Portland so we decided to take a visit the next day especially since there was a 30% off of sofas and sectionals that ended in two days. We arrived at the store 30 minutes before they closed and we were greeted by Kimberly immediately. She asked what we were shopping for and took us to the Bryant. It felt AMAZING but not quite the look I was thinking in person. She probed with questions to point us in a different direction. While looking I bumped into the Sebastian in a green velvet and I loved it. I told Kimberly and we waited to see if my husband would see it himself and he did. He wasn't a fan of the velvet but liked the couch over all. We spent additional time trying to find the right fabric. Something that went with our colorful rug and that was dog friendly. She gave us direction showing her images of our space and rug. She then brought in Cindy and the 4 of us worked together. They stayed an additional 30 minutes past closing and we still couldn't decide and they both suggested we sleep on it. Good thing we slept on it because as soon as we came in we were notified that one of the fabrics we were looking at had been discontinued. Day two was almost seamless. I arrived earlier than my husband and worked with Cindy to pull 3 different fabrics not seen the day before. Surprisingly enough, my husband brought in our new rug which helped a lot. We found the perfect fabric and were there only about 30 minutes with checkout. Oh and I forgot to mention, the couch was 40% off! We got an almost $4000 couch for $2500ish. I HIGHLY recommend shopping Joybird and especially the PDX location! Can't wait to receive the couch. We'll definitely shop here again! read more

We were looking to replace our (very old) couch and visited the Portland, OR showroom after a lot of research on different brands. The fact we could test the options in person was a big factor for us. We had a great experience. Patrick greeted us promptly and was thoughtful, patient, and helpful as we discussed what we were looking for. Their showroom had the very option we were most interested in after online research, so we were able to test it and configure it right there. They had a great selection of other options, but we ended up going with the option we initially planned on. After we decided on our fabric and configuration, Elena and Patrick worked together to get us all set. Elena was especially helpful with the final purchase, and she was gracious to apply a sale price that had ended the prior day. I have been searching for the right piece of furniture to go into a small out building that I plan to use as an office. I have admired photos of Joybird furniture for years, and was thrilled when I discovered that there is a showroom in Portland where I can see the furniture in person! Upon arriving, I was greeted by Elena who was very helpful and knowledgeable when showing me the options for sofas that would fit well into a small space. She understood that this is a big decision and even gave me additional time to think about which couch and fabric options I wanted while still honoring the sale price. I ended up choosing the Briar loveseat in Banks Zinnia and I can't wait to receive it! Elena P. and team helped us pick out a Joybird Bryant Daybed in Harper Cinnamon over the course of a few visits to the showroom. She was very patient with us while we tried different sofas for comfort, measured for the ability to move it into our old house with narrow doorways, and deliberated over which fabric would match our aesthetic while hiding dog fur and slobber. The whole staff was even welcoming of our dogs visiting so that we could see if the daybed was comfortable enough to seat two adults and two dogs.
