Fast forward to about two weeks ago and I needed to have 6 teeth removed. Dr. Jason numbed me up very well, but I started to have a panic attack in the chair. Show stopper! Dr. Jason and his assistant called everything off - they were very concerned with my comfort. Three days ago I went back, better prepared for the visit and Dr. Jason was able to complete the extractions. Even though the extractions hurt pretty bad, it was very clear that Dr. Jason was doing his level best to be as gentle as possible. We took several breaks, he made sure I was doing well throughout the procedure. 90 minutes and 3 breaks later I left with my instructions and feeling very proud of myself. Later that day the office called to check up and the next day I popped in for a quick check up. Dr. Jason will be getting all of my future business and you would do well to give him your business too!

I was surprised that this service was not included as part of my preventive care visit and, more importantly, that the additional charge was not disclosed before the treatment was performed. I understand that not all services are covered by insurance, but patients deserve clear communication about any out-of-pocket costs before receiving treatment. Unfortunately, experiences like this have eroded my trust in the practice. While the $48 charge itself is not significant, the lack of transparency is. As a result, I will be looking for a dental provider that places a higher priority on honesty, transparency, and patient trust.

For years, I would try to tell him my habits, my diet, my thoughts, anything I could, to try to come up with ideas. All he would do is ask the same questions. And he would get the same answers. It felt like he ignored what I was saying or couldn't understand that issues can come from other things. Why is my saliva stringy? His recommendation, drink more water. It's not that I'm not drinking water, it's lack of electrolytes. Guess what, that diluted my electrolytes even more and made my mouth even more dry, even though pee is clear. Some gum issues? It's not necessarily brushing the gum line. It could've been the lack of vitamins, like C, since i wasn't getting adequate nutrition. Added fruits and gums cleared up. I told him these things, when I mentioned my diet and habits. But some "professionals" are only interested in learning about treating the problem, not the symptoms. If you need cleaning, the hygienists were nice. If you need anything else, maybe think about it and if you're getting the treatment you need.

He has also fit me in for emergency services. The office is set up for safety with everyone in PPE, temperature checks, not many patients at the same time and a check on medical history. Also, BEWARE that they call "cavity" any stain on your teeth and you will see a huge list of cavities on the quote they give you. Again, the other dentist showed me in details on my x-rays what is cavity and what's not. I had 2 cavities and not 8 as they had told me here. Save money, time and your enamel and go somewhere else!
