Not unexpectedly, my mouth was jacked up. I had a root canal about 20 years prior, so I knew sort of what to expect. Dr. Raj is fantastic, and his team is fantastic. I am never in (unrealistic) discomfort, have my questions answered, and have never felt unwelcome. Having my mouth fixed - after a lack of care and then cracked teeth from a car wreck- has been a Godsend. I have benefited from Dr Raj & his team.

I was given incorrect information about my insurance coverage and was asked to make a payment that I was later told should not have been required. I was also promised a refund but despite following up multiple times I still have not received it. It's been a month now. What was most disappointing was the lack of communication and the way I was treated when I called to follow up. The front desk staff were rude and very unprofessional, which made an already frustrating situation even worse. Billing mistakes can happen but I expected better communication, follow through and better behavior from a practice my family has trusted for many years.

My daughter had an appointment to get some new trays and we were running late. I called the office- no one picked up (which is typical), but I left a message letting them know when we would be there. We arrived within their 15 min late policy, but the back office said they would not see her because they wanted to go to lunch. I know we were running late and that is on us, but when you still show up within their grace period, they should see you. It was a 5 minute appointment to get new trays. Now we are re-scheduled for a couple of weeks later. Poor customer service!! In addition most of the staff always seem miserable to be there (except for the gentleman at the front desk who greets you with a smile) Do better Rad Orthodontics!!

The actual amount will be higher. I was told that was because it was an "estimate" I have not experienced that with other medical and dental services. So agree with other reviews - keep all records of your transactions, stick to the basic required procedures, decline any additional services or products.

I had a tooth extracted, and Dr. Sreeni and his support staff walked and talked me through the whole process. I was terrified and they explained every step of the way and even gave encouragement. Later that evening, Dr. Sreeni took the time to call to check in to see how I was recovering. I've never had such a warm and thoroughly explicated visit to a dentist office. The two persons working the front desk were also kind and efficient and took the time to explain the pricing to me. Insurance covered all but my copay and all was transparent.

During that process, I had concerns regarding the lack of clear communication about my crown procedure, specifically how many appointments would be required. I voiced those concerns to my VA Community Care Coordinator at Total Dental Care. Despite my initial experience, I chose to give the clinic another opportunity and attempted to return for care in August. I was extremely disappointed to learn that the clinic would no longer see me as a patient, apparently because I had previously expressed concerns about my treatment experience. To be clear, I was never rude, disrespectful, or verbally abusive. I simply advocated for myself as a patient and expressed that the process and number of appointments had not been clearly communicated to me. In all my years receiving dental care, both as a veteran and as a civilian, I have never been refused future care because I respectfully raised a concern about communication. What was equally disappointing was that I was never provided written notification that the practice had decided not to see me again. I only learned this when attempting to obtain additional care. If a practice decides to terminate its relationship with a patient, I believe the professional and courteous thing to do is communicate that decision directly to the patient rather than allowing them to discover it later. I will be sharing my experience with VA Community Care because veterans referred to community providers should feel comfortable asking questions and respectfully expressing concerns about their care without worrying that doing so will result in them no longer being welcomed as a patient. Unfortunately, this experience made it very clear that I am no longer welcomed at this facility, and I will seek my dental care elsewhere.

His practice looks like a house from the outside and is beautifully landscaped. It looks very inviting from the outside. Parking can be challenging for those such as myself who can't parallel park well on the street. The inside is very well kept. There is a nice waiting room that has magazines and even toys and books for toddlers. I also like that they have a water cooler. The staff are all friendly, professional, thorough, and adept. When I come in for my bi-annual cleaning I generally get Patricia who is pleasant and makes the time go by. Today I came in to have two fillings for my receding gum. Dr. Glass was thorough in explaining the procedure and said if I experienced any discomfort to let him know, and I did, not too long after he started. He frequently checked to see if I was doing ok. It shows he cares about his patients which I can appreciate. Without any reservation, I highly recommend Dr. Glass.

He and his staff didn't make me feel bad about it and cleaned me up very well. I don't love going to the dentist (I feel like I'm a car at the auto shop), but Dr. Glass is as gentle as they get. I later moved to DC and my insurance changed, so I attempted to find a new local dentist. Well, said dentist removed one of my one fillings and replaced it, because he just felt like it would look nicer. Fast forward a few months and I -swallowed- said filling and frantically called Dr. Glass for an appointment. I was fit in promptly and worked up thoroughly - the tooth was ruined and I would need my first root canal. Dr. Glass smoothed out my tooth in the mean time, referred me to dentist to do the root canal (he was also good, but no Dr. Glass), and then had me back to do a temporary crown as he sent away for a permanent crown to be made. Even if Dr. Glass isn't in network for my new dental insurance (though services are partially covered), even if it's a 45-minute drive out, I'll be going to Dr. Glass, because once you find a good dentist, you don't leave 'em! Additionally, the bill was for an amount in excess of the agreed-upon treatment plan, and there were no details as to what the extra amount was for. In speaking with the billing manager, she promptly hung up on me. I called back to talk with Dr. Rizwan to advise him of the situation. The billing manager sarcastically replied, "He is busy. Oh, don't worry, he will get the message and call you back." Three weeks have passed, and Dr. Rizwan has not returned my call. I believed we had a good dentist-patient relationship. However, I was wrong. It has been three weeks, and I have not received a response to date. I referred people to the Kentlands Dentistry practice, and they will not be returning because of this. Shame on the billing manager who felt so comfortable hanging up on a paying customer and for her very unprofessional manner. I am also disappointed that Dr. Rizwan would allow such an employee to work there and behave in such an unprofessional manner, and that he never returned my call. I thought I had finally found MY dentist. Very disappointing to say the least. Maybe the billing manager was a family member of Dr. Rizwan's, but she was horribly rude and upsetting. A HIPAA violation is taken very seriously and cannot be ignored.
