Went back to John's Jewelers because they repaired my gold chain necklace beautifully…read more This time, I had a pair of ruby studded strawberries that need to be converted back to earrings. I asked the Gal behind the counter, "By the way, are these rubies real?" The Gal whips out a laser scanner and scanned the stones in front of me -- and showed me on her readout, "Ruby." She scanned the other stones: they showed as "Garnet" and "Diamond." Another jeweler in town told me the stones were fake and offered me $350 for them. The Gal at John's Jeweler's gave me proof -- showed me the readout that the stones are real gemstones. John's Jeweler's is going to do the repair -- because I trust them. If you need jewelry repaired or want jewelry with real gemstones in it, go to John's Jeweler's. With fine jewelry, you gotta work with people you trust. Thanks, John's Jewelers.

Left stone with the store and called in after a week, and was told they didn't receive pictures of designs that I like, so I resent. Waited another two more weeks and called in twice, they kept telling me clay will be ready soon, and got a certain answer on last call that clay will be ready last Sat. I went in today on Tuesday and they didn't do any clay with either of the stone, instead showed me a design which I said in my first visit that I would want something different. So imagine leaving them stones for almost a month and come back to see nothing is done as they promised, during the waiting I didn't get any call from the store but have to call in to keep checking. I am sure they are great local store but I am quite disappointed with what I experienced.
