I have to admit when I was invited, I was a little skeptical. I'm very artsy and into creating things. But I don't really care to draw or paint. But once I enter the painting Studio it was like oh my God it was so peaceful, artsy and decorative. The owner has it really set up nice. All her supplies are clean and new-looking she had different guest paintings hanging on the wall. Along with a nice music playlist playing. I was actually attending for a birthday party. And the owner allows you to bring small appetizers and drinks. So when we came in, there was Wine already poured and appetizers ready to eat. It was a real chill lounge spot. The owner is super helpful and she answered any questions you may have, she is really a nice person! As we started to paint our instructor Liz explained, what paint brushes we were going to use. The colors we had and she walked us step by step. It wasn't overwhelming and she wasn't intimidating. Liz was very detailed and she took her time with us. Don't think of this as an art class. It was way more chill than that. We were listening to music, singing, dancing & laughing. It really opens up another side to you if you don't usually paint or have some type of way to self express. I really enjoyed myself and will recommend this as a form of therapy or just going out to hang with the girls or guys, to have fun! read more

Lots of fun to be had here. Carson location is better than Gardena. Gardena parking is crazy and risky IMO. Carson has plenty of parking. The Carson spot is back in the back of the walk up area next to Ohana. So don't think it's not there ..it is. The owner is a blast. She talks about the big daddy brush, the momma brush and baby brush in the most funny elicit ways that it adds to the fun of it all. Best Paint & Taste I've been to! Joy, the instructor was a doll and her assistants (male) were kind and helpful. We had a great time painting "Queen" and I loved the creative names she gave the paint brushes. We even had men in our class (I assume because we were painting a nude woman from behind) and they were hilarious! Anxious to paint the butt (the crack specifically LMAO). I would most definitely recommend this studio to my family and friends! It was entertaining, the music was great and you just bring your own food/wine and have a ball! Location: This place is a fantastic hidden gem (literally right next to a dentist office). You can already tell that the owners put a ton of energy into making a painting event an experience rather than just a simple event. Ambience: The art pieces that decorate the space are beautiful and inspiring! The music playing creates a great ambience--lots of 90s R&B (Brandy, Mariah, SWV, XSCAPE, Next, etc.). Unlike other "paint and sip" events that I've attended, this place has all the colors and canvases laid out and ready for you and in the order that you'll be using the colors. The owners are REALLY great people, they made sure that everyone felt comfortable, before, during, and after the event. Instructors: Dmitri was our instructor and he was very helpful. The assistant instructors also walked around to help everyone, which made everything a lot a easier. We were able to take a break to allow pieces to dry before concluding the event. TIPS: 1. If it says BYOB, definitely bring your own. This includes bottle openers, snacks, etc. 2. Private events are nice, but the group events are REALLY fun and a great experience. 3. This business has two locations and this is for the Carson location. I went for a birthday party this afternoon for my aunt and it was so fun! The hostess and instructor Joy was very nice and so were the assistants. You are able to bring in your own snacks and beverages. The music is okay and the environment is welcoming and fun. I took off a star because the owner, in my opinion, was unprofessional. Online and in the confirmation email it said it was at 3:00 pm. My sister sent them a message asking if we could be seated together (we paid separate) because there were 7 of us and we wanted to make sure ahead of time that it would be possible as this was our first time here. They told her yes and said we were more than welcome to bring snacks in but it had to be 15 mins before the scheduled time. So we got there at 2:40 and the artist was waiting outside for the owner to come and open the door. She got a phone call and it sounded like the owner kept telling her it was supposed to be at 3:30. So we're waiting about 40 mins and the owner gets there and makes the artist go get the keys from her in her car. Like really? Couldn't even get out and open the door or at least apologize for making us wait? Brittany was the reason we enjoyed this place so much and would decide to come back. She was amazing! She helped us with adding colors here and there to give our paintings more texture and make it look a bit more realistic. read more

Horrible experience.. I attended on 5/5/2018 and there were a bunch of loud talking people cursing and dancing in the middle of the floor. I thought it was suppose to be a relaxing experience with a serene atmosphere but it ended up being the exact opposite of that. I felt like I was at a nightclub.
