It was a simple order: house drip but was told half & half was no longer available around the same time (10am Sunday). That was a first for me because I know Gregory's Coffee would never drop the ball like that. Yes I know people have bad days...the Gregory team responded quickly upon seeing my review and awarded me generous reward points to come back and give them another chance. So I did and it was what I knew and expected from Gregory's! My handcrafted drink was made to my liking and as I entered it was waiting for me! And of course it was Delicious. Thank you Gregory's Coffee for your professionalism and courtesy. And kudos to the male barista that was working today. Even if I was not treated with the reward points, I'm always loyal to Gregory's coffee cause they "see coffee differently" and they're worth the try. Once you try Gregory's you don't go back! The quiet atmosphere and accessible restroom with a ramp were thoughtful touches. I tried four different items during my visit. The Beef Empanada was excellent, especially paired with the chimichurri sauce. My favorite pastry was the Alchemist Bomboloni with Hazelnut. It was incredibly soft, flavorful, and not overly sweet. I also enjoyed trying a Maritozzo for the first time. Like the Bomboloni, it had a light texture and just the right amount of sweetness. The Dulce de Leche Latte was recommended by both the staff and online reviews. While I can understand why it's popular, it wasn't quite my favorite as someone who drinks coffee regularly. I'll probably stick with a traditional coffee on my next visit. The staff were welcoming, and I appreciated learning that the café is pet friendly. They also offer a loyalty rewards program, which helps offset the slightly higher pastry prices over time. I'll definitely be returning and look forward to trying more of the menu.
