This was my first time using JPO. My pool was completely green and looked like it hadn't been touched in months. I wasn't sure if it could even be saved. But within just 10 days, they turned it crystal clear and swimmable again.

I have to write a review for JPO Pool Service! We had another local weekly pool service company for about 4 years and we were having lots of problems like mineral/calcium buildup on our new pool tiles, replacing components in the equipment etc because unbeknownst to us they were ONLY doing the most basic, if that, maintenance. Then they charged us a fortune to fix the buildup and replace components that in actuality were supposed to be maintained. So I called many pools services and found JPO pools. I talked to the owner Jeremy in length and he is the most knowledgeable pool person. His father also did pools so Jeremy is extremely knowledgeable inside and out about pool maintenance. And so pleasant, courteous, dependable and honest 100%. He does an outstanding service on our pool and I cannot recommend him enough! Thank you so much Jeremy! We appreciate having you service our pool!! A+

JPO provides high quality pool service. Jeremy is consistent with our weekly pool cleaning schedule and he shows up timely. Our pool is left sparkling clean and Jeremy is always considerate in the timing of our bigger maintenance needs (filter cleaning, etc.) to align with our budget. We highly recommend JPO!

Summary: if you are looking for a small business owner who takes pride in the work that they do, is honest and reasonable then Jeremy from JPO Pool Services is your man! I purchased a home and within days of moving in the pool started turning green, yuck! I originally called JOC Pool which is Jeremy's dad's business on a Wednesday but he wasn't available to come see the pool until Sunday. I didn't want to wait given the pool was getting worse so instead he referred me to Jeremy. I texted Jeremy that Wednesday morning and he was able to swing by the same day to assess the condition of the pool. He gave me the quote and started the work to revive the pool all in the same day. Green troublesome pools are the bread and butter of Jeremy's business, he's done it many times and he was able to bring by pool into good shape. My original intention was to hire Jeremy to revive the pool and then I would take on the weekly maintenance. After meeting Jeremy and working with him I decided to enlist him for weekly pool service Things that stood out about Jeremy: -He is honest and is absolutely willing to share his knowledge with you -He is clear about the work that needs to be done, the pricing and he will wait for confirmation before performing any work -He gives you tips and tricks to make your life easier; for example, I struggled with filling the pool during the week so he suggested some automated gadgets from Amazon that would simplify my life -He treats you like he would like to be treated, as a result it leads to clear and honest communication via text or phone -Many of the pool services on yelp send out "workers" to perform the actual work, at JPO pool you are dealing with the business owner directly. Jeremy takes pride in his work and he will come through for you if you give him a chance. Don't let the low review count on yelp fool you. Jeremy knows what he is doing and services over 50 pools in the area. I chose to give him a chance and I am glad I did.

I called and left a message for Jeremy and he called back within minutes. We discussed the issues I was having and he came out the next day to look at things. He figured out the problem and was able to get my water chemistry back on track quickly. Jeremy is easy to talk to and very knowledgeable. I highly recommended Jeremy for all of your pool needs.

We asked for a quote to install a pool heater. When we received the quote, they required a 50% down payment. We gave them the 50%. That was months ago. As of this date, they have not installed the pool heater. They started to repair our pool sweep. It needed a very common part, available from Leslie's Pool. As of today, the pool sweep has not had not been repaired. We finally had enough, and fired them. I give a poor review, which accurately represents their level of service. The pool had been very clear since we had just changed providers and it did not require an algicide. It's not removable once poured in. We paid for service every month all autumn and winter. The bills were always hard to decipher as to which service period it covered. Later, they tried to charge me for December's in April despite not having showed up for several weeks during that timeframe. Communication/responses to my enquiries were largely non-existent. In May, several additional charges started appearing that were unspecific. I asked Tyler in person if the pool was safe for my children to swim and he replied yes. I asked him if the salt was OK and he said something like it was hard to tell. My kids then swam in mid-May during a heat wave. I took a pool sample to Leslie's a few days later out of curiosity and it failed abysmally. Free chlorine was 0.1 when it should be 1.0-4.0. The salt was 1200 when it should have been 2700-3400ppm. Everything was out of range. pH, phosphates and alkalinity too high. Calcium too low. I hope my children don't get sick. When he responded to my cancellation he had the nerve to claim our pool was locked that one week, which is simply not true. On the contrary, the gate had been open when they didn't show that one week because we were working outside all day. Would it have dropped so precipitously after just one week anyway? Should not have.

I highly recommend JPO Pool Services! Jeremy is so responsive. I needed help with the pool at my father's house. Jeremy went to check the pool the first day that I contacted him. I wasn't able to meet him at the house, but Jeremy went and checked on the pool anyway. He sent me photos that showed the pool was already looking green. Jeremy had it corrected and on track in just a few days. The pool looks beautiful now! Jeremy also noticed a potential issue with the pool pump wiring and he let me know and then fixed that as well. I think that Jeremy might be a stealth pool ninja. I was at the house yesterday and noticed that it looked like the pool sweep hadn't been coming on. I texted Jeremy and he said he would check on it. I left to run an errand for a few minutes. When I got back, the pool sweep was working! I texted Jeremy to let him know and he replied that he had already stopped by to fix it. Just wanted to write a brief review I do not do these very often but this one I had to do I talked to Jeremy I had several issues going on with my pool water, chemistry chlorine tablets, acid, etc. Jeremy is very very helpful. Told me some little tricks to help keep pool clean where a lot of service technicians will not tell you at all. Most of them are only interested to make a lot of money and the pool service center store if you need any specific questions troubleshooting john is your guy. It's pretty simple when you can really trust someone that they're out for your best interest in helping you and getting you back on track that means a lot today because as we all know today, it's hard to find honest quality people that are not trying to rip you off so if you need any type of pool chemistry work, etc. this is your guy read more

Had found Jeremy at Leslies pool Supply ( De Anza Blvd). After a conversation of 2 minuets, I knew he was going to be great. Jeremy was able to show up the same day took a look at the pool and gave solid real advice and knowledge about what I needed todo. Amazing service! We do self-maintenance for our swimming pool and we needed someone to come and check our Pentair filter. Jeremy responded quickly and was able to come the same day. He inspected the filter and verified that it was working properly. He also gave us a few helpful tips and recommended products for pool maintenance. I reached out to Jeremy for a busted pool pipe. Water was pouring out every where. Jeremy talked me through the steps to fix it. First thing he did was tell me not to panic and have faith. With instructions over the phone my husband and I stopped the leak, got the replacement part, and had it fixed within a couple of hours.
