I put out a message on Nextdoor and had a few neighbors refer me to JPR and a couple of other places. My second issue with my older Mercedes I decided to take it to JPR, as stated, Ralph is a great representative of the shop. I told me what my initial reason for bringing in my car would cost and it was right on. I did need some additional work that I had him look into, the cost was more than I was hoping but that's what happens with these older cars and getting parts. The car is driving great, I wouldn't hesitate to take my car back to Ralph and JPR and if any neighbors are asking all return the favor and recommend them here. read more

Based on a recommendation, just brought my car into JPR Automotive for replacement of engine mounts, along with an oil change and new cabin air filter. My experience was tremendous. The quality of work was great, they didn't try to swindle me like some other places that said I needed additional things that I did not, were reasonably priced, and they had everything done in 24 hours. Where do I even begin... I have been going to JPR for the last several years. It's finally taken me THIS long to realize how extremely reputable they are. My car is in pretty great condition for being an older car. It wasn't until this year where I took my car into the dealership because of a check engine light that they tried to swindle me out of money. Knowing something didn't seem right, I once again took it over to JPR who assured me that, it was actually a small minor issue, rather than the large issues the dealership presented. Once that was fixed, the car was good to go. Going to the dealership and seeing how they tried to hound me for my money while JPR was so honest and willing to work with me really put my full trust in them. I always come to Ralph when I have a concern about my car. I took my Smart car to the dealer for and oil change and they charged me $182.00 ridiculous. Ever since then I take my care to JRP automotive. They work on other cars too not just BMWs. My daughter also bring her Honda here to get tune-ups and stuff. Price is always fair and if you don't understand the charges or what he needs to do, he will take the time to explain it to you. He'll only recommend something when it's needed. I have a Mini Cooper and gave up going to the dealership for repairs years ago. I happened to drive past JPR one day and tried them out for my next repair. Now it's the only place I'll take my Mini. Ralph and Adrian will do anything to get your business and charge you ridiculous amount of money!! Took my car last month in the pick of heat for AC diagnosis, Adrian assured me he will get back with me by end of the day and let me know what's wrong. never heard from him till next day when I decided to give them a call. Ralph wanted to charge 8 hrs for changing "receiver dryer" and the "expansion valves" multiply that by 85$/hr labor. Plus all the parts which were quoted 2.5-3 time the autozone and other places price. Total close to $1100!! After talking to Ralph for only few min and trying to convince him that his price is very too high he rudely said I don't want your business!! What a surprise!! Just because I realized he's overcharging me!! Took my car to another place and had them replace the whole thing for 325$ instead!! 120$ parts and 2.5 hrs of labor + misc. They seem to be nice people but they only care about their pocket and not yours. Not recommended! read more

If it was at all possible to put less than one star I would. I just called to speak with the owner or shop manager and the gentleman on the phone very rudely stated that they were still on vacation and hung up on me. Very unprofessional. JPR has worked on my vehicles for a couple years and they are competent in what they do and honest with their pricing. They saved me a bundle on buying a part from a wrecking yard----a part that did not need to be new and that another shop quoted me 10x more for the same used part. Most times naturally the parts are new. The mechanics are top-notch and Ralph the manager knows what he is doing running the shop and taking care of customers.
