I'm really torn writing this because the people themselves were very friendly. The woman at the front desk was incredibly kind and helpful, and I genuinely appreciated that they arranged an Uber for me to get to the shop. The gentleman who called to explain what was wrong with my vehicle was also polite and thorough. That said, the actual pricing and billing left a bad taste in my mouth. The quote I received was $6,000, which was substantially higher than the $3,000-$4,000 estimates I received from several other reputable shops. I'm all for paying for quality work, but that kind of difference made me feel like I was being price gouged. What really pushed me over the edge, though, was the diagnostic fee. I was told it would be $160, which I agreed to. When I went to pay, the bill was over $190. When I called to ask why, I was told they "had to put some oil in the car to diagnose it." To me, that feels scammy. If you're going to charge more than the stated diagnostic fee, that should absolutely be communicated and approved beforehand. Adding extra charges without authorization--especially after I declined their high repair quote--felt wrong and unprofessional. Because of that lack of transparency, I wouldn't return and I wouldn't recommend the shop. Friendly people, yes--but the pricing practices made me lose trust in their integrity. I have been a loyal customer since I moved to Henderson. However, I will not be returning. I brought my car in to have the air conditioning inspected. I was told prior to that it would be $49.95. That's apparently for them just to diagnose it. I had no leaks, and only needed coolant. That cost me an additional $194.56 . The paperwork states that they replaced service valves, but the gentleman on the phone told me that they only needed to add coolant. Afterwards I was told that the AC was guaranteed for 3 years. They did the EXACT SAME AC repair on 4/20/2024. According to my records they replaced the service valves and added coolant then too. To my way of thinking, what they just performed should have been 'warranty' repair. I was also charged an additional$120.25 for them to diagnose a rough idle in my car. They determined ( correctly) that I needed to fix my transmission mounts. The quote was $2100.37. When questioned why it was so high, Eric stated that the bolts alone were going to cost $1400. Hello? I immediately took my car to another dealer, and was quoted $630 for the same repair. As a woman I used to trust them, but now I feel like they are sticking it to me because they think they can get away with it. I had recommended them to several friends , but I have called my friends to let them know my most recent experience. It's really sad to loose customers because the front desk is talking out of both sides of their mouth! read more

What an incredible place! The kind of place that makes you feel like you've travelled back in time to a nicer time of true customer service. I did a LOT of research to decide where to take my car after moving to Vegas, and Sansone came in very highly recommended online. I've found to that to be VERY warranted and true. Even on my first dropoff at Sansone, I was in the waiting area with other customers and several of them started chatting about how much they loved Sansone and wouldn't go anywhere else. One woman said she drove an hour from home to get there because she trusted them so completely with her car. You will be greeted at drop off by the most friendly of staff. And after you've been there once, they know exactly who you are and what car you have. I was amazed on my second time calling for an appointment that they called me by name and knew all about my car. And unlike SO many mechanics, the staff at the front desk is willing to chat with you about your car and hear you thoroughly. I needed a radiator and the pricing was VERY fair. The repairs were done quickly and so efficiently. And because I have just purchased a used car, I had a lot of questions and concerns about being proactive on maintenance that the dealer might have overlooked. They took so much care to really examine the car completely and give me their assessment. And you just know they're honest and not trying to fix things that don't need fixing. I had one questionable issue with something on my car that another mechanic could have easily manipulated and gotten a thousand dollar repair out of me, but not Sansone - they actually explained the situation fully and helped me avoid an unnecessary repair at great expense. I've heard from several other customers just how trustworthy they are, so from my experience and from others, I feel so incredibly confident about trusting my car to Sansone. I wouldn't go anywhere else. Oh, and to top it off, they make sure you have a ride to and from your drop off so you don't have to spend hours waiting on your car. And while I expected that price to be passed on to me, it was included in the price of the repair. May I also add that my radiator repair had been looked at and estimated by a couple of other shops prior to my finding Sansone's and their prices were significantly higher! So I got a great price AND a ride to and from. What a gem! Love this place! read more

I had some noise coming from my 2013Rams suspension. Although I'm mechanically inclined I couldn't pin point it. I'm very picky about who works on my truck, other than me. The reviews and location were a good match. Brought the truck in and explained the issue with Eric. Eric had his suspicions on what it was and was correct in the end. The lower control arms were done for, and needing replacement. The communication was really good by both Eric and the gal at the front t desk. They say they'd call, they did (rare) in saying all of that they got the truck fixed and aligned in a few days (parts) The biggest struggle was the cost to do the work. Approx $2200! I was In total sticker shock. The Dodge dealer quoted far less than that for same repair order. The receipt upon completion only showed the cost of the complete repair. Nothing itemized which was a bit concerning. Overall very happy with the repair, but feel I may have been overcharged for 2 control arms and an alignment. $2200. An upgraded set of lower control arms run about $500. So, $1700 labor? Seemed a bit much. Overall I'm very happy with the repair, but OUCH. I had a water pump, Thermostat, belt, hoses and a block flush done for less at Dodge. I'll most certainly get quotes from Sansone's for future repairs, but I'll have to also look at dealer pricing for gauging costs. Great shop but can be cost prohibitive if you're not careful. read more

I read a review from a Maree D. She gave one star and stated very negative things about this business. One of her complaints was a charge of about $502 in labor to align her vehicle and replace two coolant hoses purged the air out of the system and refill a coolant in today's automotive world $502 is probably around 2 to 2 1/2 hours labor which is not out of line for doing all that work. They probably should've charged more for it. I would not pay any attention to this ladies survey. If I could give this shop negative five stars I would. My lady and I took in her jeep for a check engine light and would not pass smog. They said they replaced the fuel tank and assured us that was the problem. After picking up the car we went to put gas in the tank and the gas pump stopped at 3/4 of a tank and read the tank was full, $860 and two days later the check engine light came on again. When we called back they said to bring the car back and they'll see what's wrong with it again. And told us they might have to charge us another $160 diagnostic fee and do a thorough check this time. And also we already knew the engine mounts were bad and needed to be replaced however we did not have the money to replace them at the time. And now of course the vehicle is shaking worse than when we brought it in! I regret taking our vehicle here. read more

Mike and his guys really know what they are doing. Which is why I trusted Sansone's Automotive with both my car and my husbands car recently. One of my dad's best friends recommended this place which isn't too far from my house. After looking them up on Yelp, and reading their stellar reviews, I knew this was the place we needed to bring my husband's car into. My husband's car is a Ford Fusion that we bought used years ago. It had a "kill switch" installed on the front driver's side for anti-theft I guess before we got it. For some reason, my husband accidentally hit it and the dang thing kept acting up. Basically, we couldn't get the car to start when we needed to, which is a pretty important thing ha. We took it in here when we finally did get it to start and they gave us a quote of around $120, which to us sounded like a really good deal considering we were thinking it was going to be a lot more. They took the kill switch out no problem, and even noticed my husband needed his oil changed so they did that, too. I was so impressed that when I noticed my oil was leaking in my car, I decided to take it in the very next week. Fast forward to now, and I had taken my car in, a Toyota Corolla, and made an appointment ahead of time (which I highly recommend). Mike called me and explained I needed the entire oil pan replaced, walked me through the cost, and then mentioned he checked the battery which was on the verge of death (I believed him because my lights had been flickering in the car and I totally spaced telling him I wanted them to check that out, too). He replaced everything for me and had my car back the very next day. My dad came in with me to pick up the car, and he and Mike ended up chatting for another half hour about what was wrong with my car & why the oil was leaking. My dad used to fix cars back when he was a kid so he enjoyed chatting with Mike. I was so impressed with the service and transparency here that I don't think I'll be taking my car anywhere else. Thank you so much again to Mike and his team for getting our cars back in working order. And thanks to the stimulus check for basically covering the cost of these fixes hahah! read more

Following doing his research online, my husband took our vehicle down to this shop. We had a leak on our steering fluid (a lead or crack in the fluid storage container). Something quite simple. The steering had come out of alignment, with the steering wheel off kilter. Rare for us, but nothing we hadn't faced previously in a lifetime of driving. After 24 hours my husband chased them up to see what was happening with our vehicle. He was told that the rear subframe was out of whack, and the rear wheel faced outward slightly. Ah, wreck maybe? Well, we purchased the vehicle in 2015. It had been used to ferry new car buyers from Auto Mall Henderson up and back to their homes. The vehicle had low miles and we checked to see if it had been involved in a wreck. As far as we knew, it hadn't, and was still owned by the dealer. It was just time to replace it. Since 2015 we had never been in a wreck. So, my husband asked if they had sorted out the issue the vehicle was brought into the shop for. The answer was that they hadn't looked at it. He then asked them to do so and give us a quotation on repair. My husband then had to call them back three hours later for the information. He was told to replace the possible cracked hose (a common issue), and the second hose, the job would cost $702. Umm, two plastic pipes would be replaced, and presumably the fluid drained, replaced, and tested, and the steering wheel put back right. Even if you say that the pipes replaced would cost $200, then it is $502 in labor to drain the fluid, change the pipes, refill fluid, line the vehicle up and loosen the bolts on the steering, align the wheels, and do the bolts up. I apologize if I have missed steps in the process. What really concerned us was the fact that they found what they stated were major faults, without even resolving what the vehicle was taken in for. Other than the repair we had taken the vehicle in for, we have basically had a good vehicle. It had always driven perfectly well, with no issues. The damage the shop was stating was present, would have taken a very heavy rear end collision. We had never had one, and as far as I am aware (and, as someone who is former law enforcement, I do check when purchasing), there was no collision prior to our ownership. Even if we were wrong, we had never experienced any of the issues the shop stated were a result of the damage they stated we had. So, to sum up, bad communication. We had to chase everything up. Then, when being asked to do a simple repair, they didn't look at that after 36 hours. They did look at something we never asked them to examine though, and started telling us there was major damage, which, presumably, would cost thousands to put right. Even if you say, thanks for looking over our vehicle for us, they didn't even look at the issue it was in the shop for, until we pressed them to actually do it. Lets hope that it is particularly poor communication, and not what I suspected. read more

Took my Toyota Sienna in for a service after 7 years and 30,000 miles of no maintenance whatsoever besides oil changes. I knew it was in need of some TLC from qualified mechanics. Called and spoke to Mac and explained my problems and she said just come in and Chuck and Nick will take a look at it. Upon arrival at the appointment time, Chuck and I discussed what I thought was needed. He said ok let me take a look at it and I'll get back to you. Called me that afternoon and told me the things of which I knew, rotors and brakes but what I didn't know about was that I needed new struts because they were leaking. After giving me an estimate verbally I said ok proceed. Picked up the car a couple of days later and I have to say wow the car now drives like a dream and now I can go for another 5 years. Ok, first off Chuck is a wise man and really listens to you and let's you know what you need before just selling you everything you might not need like other places. First the first conversation to first meet in person Chuck was great to deal with and understanding and really just took a few minutes to talk to me. So about service it's been fantastic- I had my Front brakes and rear brakes done at such a great money value $$ their was no way I wasn't going to get the job done here. I called many other places and had a good laugh at the price they told me. Mieke was a joke- they quoted me $1,200 over the phone. Another shop quoted me $940. When I found Sansone's I knew this was the place to get the work done. Easily located by the Galleria Mall and the Expressway, great little location. I got their at 8am in the morning and by 2pm my car was done. Brakes come with a 3yr or 36,000 which ever comes first. It's good to know that theirs still stand up mechanic shops in 2022-23 because we need that. The lobby is Small but it has couches and coffee for you to sit and drink a cup. I've been bringing my cars here for a few years so I'm very disappointed in what happened. In September I brought my car in for an oil change and they told me my turbo coolant line was leaking so they replaced it. Fast forward to January and the check engine light comes on with a code for the turbo charger. I brought it in and they told me I had to take it to the dealer because it was under manufacturer warranty. After taking it to the dealer, I found out that parts were missing to my turbo, and it was never put back together correctly. My turbo did not need to be replaced. It just needed missing parts and to be put back together correctly. This mechanic is the only person that has ever touched the turbo on this car so they cannot tell me that this was not their mistake. It also voids the manufacturer warranty on my turbo so thanks for that also. The dealership suggested that I take my receipt back to mechanic and ask to be reimbursed for the labor, but I feel like that would just be like beating my head against the wall and not even worth the hassle. read more
