They don't do the work in house, they send it to the repair facility and ultimately facilitate the repair. I worked with Pradip Govindji, he was very knowledgeable and took the time to answer any questions I had regarding the brand. We talked for over ten minutes since I had a lot of questions, he was patient and kind. When the time comes for me to buy additional jewelry for myself and/or my family, this is my new go to spot. I also took several pieces of gold jewelry to be sorted by karat and examined to be sold. When I got the offer for the gold it seemed like it could be a very low offer so I had my son pick up the pieces and bring them home. I still had 2 rings to pick up from that point and when I nice MAN called and said they were ready I went to pick them up. I was greeted warmly by Irena (one of the nicest people you will ever meet). Roluca Cohen (the mgr. who had helped me with all of it originally and who gave me the gold offer) was there helping another customer. As Irena was checking me out, my balance was $100, Roluca pipes up, in the middle of helping her customer, and says, "she has a balance!" Irena looked at her a little shocked and back at me. She seemed embarrassed by what Roluca said. I just held up my hands in a shrug. It was insulting. Did she think I was going to abscond with my rings without paying the $100 balance? It certainly sounded like she was concerned. I had planned to have all my other gold rings sold and the stones made into a specially designed ring but I will no longer do it there. I won't patronize their store again. All these positive reviews about how nice "Bob" is with which to work? I never saw a Bob. Maybe he was a previous owner. I'm unsure. I don't know what Roluca's issue was but what started as a positive experience a couple of weeks ago ended so negatively. As my family says, I'm too trusting in the sincerity of some people. This was probably one of those times. FYI: I got a much higher offer for the gold elsewhere.

The salesman who helped me was even surprised! He was very polite I must add. But he referred me to the manager who simply dismissed me by stating "why don't you get a second opinion?" When we got there, both Joseph and Jamie were warm and really kind hosts. We felt super supported, encouraged, and empowered to create our rings for one another from start to finish- owning the entire process ourselves but having help at any point we needed. It was awesome to learn how to use a ton of fancy tools, learn a ring making process, and create a once in a lifetime memory creating our forever wedding bands. In 2023, my fiancée gifted me a pair of earrings from RW Fine. While they were cute, the visual quality wasn't quite what I expected. Worse, on just the second wear, one of the earrings broke apart from the post. They would not accept a return, so we had to receive an exchange instead. Fast forward to my birthday in 2025, and my fiancée gifted me another RW Fine piece--a necklace and earrings. Incredibly, the necklace clasp broke on the first wear. Given this pattern of quality issues years apart, we requested a return, only to be told they couldn't accept it because the items were sourced from vendors rather than made in-house. This was a huge disappointment, especially since RW Fine heavily markets their "in-house jewelers" on social media. In reality, they don't manufacture all their products, and worse, they don't stand behind the quality of the pieces they sell. If you're considering purchasing from RW Fine, be aware that their branding doesn't match their actual business practices--and the quality just isn't there.
