    Chicken Sandwich with Steak Fries
    Mike T.

Recommended new spot by Yelp, so of course I wanted to give it a go! Ambiance: Small pizza/sandwich shop primed to be a local take-out joint. Ordered on a Friday night and the food was ready within the 15 minutes it took for me to get there. Easy to park and grab the food. Cost: It was a bit pricey for the quality/quantity of the two sandwiches I got. The stuffed garlic knots were more aligned with their price, and bigger than I expected. Pros: Food was ready in a very timely manner and the stuffed garlic knots were delicious and unique! Haven't had something like it anywhere around here, and definitely recommend to give them a try. The guys working were kind and courteous. Cons: The homemade chicken cutlet sandwich was not as gourmet as I would have expected, and the quality of the fries in the container were sub-par as well, mushy and damp. Maybe could have been packaged better. Also not much of a con, but I didn't see any signs for the location so I drove past it at first. Definitely would love for them to advertise more to get their meatballs noticed. Overall: I'll be back for the meatballs, the sandwiches I might have to pass on. But definitely want to try the pizza next time!

Been here numerous times pizza is excellent and so are sandwiches. Great Sicilian pizza my fav is his grandma vodka. Today I went the margherita. Crust is a solid 10.

Eggplant, Fresh Mozz and Roasted Peppers

Brand new pizza place is on Midland Park right in the strip mall on Godwin Ave. They're competition is Domino's, but not sure that's any competition. Their claim to fame is they use all fresh, NEVER frozen, locally bought ingredients. I called in my order and got the eggplant sandwich. I'm always on the hunt for a good eggplant sandwich. I was thrown a curveball. I was expecting an eggplant parm but it's a breaded eggplant, FRESH mozz (thick pieces) and huge pieces of roasted peppers blanketing this sandwich. Yeah, ingredients were very fresh. Could have been another layer of eggplant. That's the only reason I dropped a star. I felt the mozz over powered the sandwich and you almost couldn't taste the eggplant. Only odd thing I found was that it came with fries. Now, the fries were actually very good but it's not something I'm expecting to get on the side when ordering a sandwich at a pizza joint. Portion size was above average and easily could've been stretched into two lunches. Service was phenomenal. Very accommodating. They had a few trays of freshly made garlic knots and a tasty they were prepping and they looked great, so I'll be back to give those a shot. They also make stuffed garlic knots..

Found this place through Instagram and decided to give it a go! Sandwiches and pizza looked phenomenal on Instagram but are the opposite in person. I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich with broccoli rabe and asked to add fresh mozzarella. We also got the meatball parm and a slice of the margarita pizza. We got home and the chicken sandwich was just a small piece of chicken, shredded lettuce, and a white sauce; no mozzarella or broccoli rabe. The meatballs didn't have much flavor at all and the pizza was just okay. Will not be returning.

While the toppings for pizza were high quality the pizza dough was anything but "thin". It was thick and very dense!!

10/5 Stars!! We…read morerecently had my Mom's 60th birthday party at the Railyard Tavern. I worked with Bob in coordinating everything. He was very accommodating and quick to reply to email. He was a big help in answering any question I had. Our party was roughly 25 people and we reserved the back room for the party. The back room was big enough for all of us to fit comfortably without it feeling cramped. We ordered the apps ahead of time and were told that they would be ready at 5:30. Sure enough, at 5:30 all of the apps came out and they were a big hit. Everything was fantastic. We got some large pizzas, nachos, mozzarella sticks, potstickers, and calamari. There was practically nothing left. The entree's were great and came without delay. I didn't hear a single complaint from any of the guests. I'd be remiss if I didn't talk about our waiter for the night, Alan. I don't think I've ever seen someone be so on top of things before. He handled the whole room essentially by himself and somehow it never seemed like there was a single hiccup the whole night. He was beyond excellent. He was such a good communicator and kept me in the loop with timelines and was overall very organized. He played a significant role in the night going as well as it did. My whole family, and most importantly my mom, had such a wonderful night. And I have Bob, Alan, and the rest of the staff to thank for that.

Once you sit down you scan a QR Code to order your food and drinks. I was pretty hungry that day so we ended up ordering a ton of food. The drinks were pretty good and they were served in Le Creuset mugs. Not the biggest deal, but I can appreciate some nice drinkware. The bowl of Kimchi Fried rice came out first. It was a generous portion and the rice was cooked well, but I feel like it could've used some more kimchi. The eggs on top were cooked perfectly and added good texture to the dish. The next dish to come out was the HK French toast. The bread was nice and fluffy which paired well with a nice generous drizzle of condensed milk. I enjoyed this a lot. We also ordered scallion pancake, pork barbecue, and bossam baos. These were ok, I would probably pass on a return visit. I felt like the meat in the baos was a little tough though they did have decent flavor. The last entree was the smoked salmon and avocado croissant; I really enjoyed this. It had a generous helping of smoked salmon and avocado as well. The saltiness of the salmon paired well with the creamy and fatty avocado. The croissant was also nice and flaky. It was also served with a house salad which had a nice drizzle of dressing on it too. For dessert we ordered a Black Sesame Souffle Pancake. This was SO good. A few months ago I visited a place in Princeton that specialized in these Japanese-style pancakes and Tasty Junction's version was so much more enjoyable. I loved that it was served with a healthy scoop of ice cream. The pancake was airy and had a bounce to it. Each bite was so good and made even better with the ice cream. I'd definitely come back just for the pancakes. All in all Tasty Junction is a great spot tucked away in Glen Rock

One thing I really liked is how customizable the menu is. You can choose different creams and ice cream flavors on top - they have a great variety, including strawberry, chocolate, vanilla, taro, ube, and more. The service was great. Everyone was very kind and welcoming, and they let us know that the Japanese soufflé pancakes take about 15 minutes to prepare, which I was completely fine with since they're made fresh. The ambiance is chill and quiet. The café is tucked away on the side of the street - I actually missed it the first time and had to circle back. We were lucky to find street parking right in front, though there aren't many spots available. As for the pancakes themselves, I thought they were just okay. They're made with four eggs, and you can definitely taste them. That said, my daughter absolutely loved them, so it may just come down to personal preference.

The food was fresh (how did they find a flawless avocado in the middle of winter???) and the flavors delicious. The service was outstanding -- weekend brunch was packed, and they put your name on a list in case you want to walk around town while you're waiting. Don't go too far, because somehow they're able to move the tables without making folks feel rushed. Each person we encountered -- the host, the folks at the counter, our server -- was nicer than the last. I got a bowl that had slightly cooked spinach, poached eggs, sweet potatoes and that GOHgeous avocado I mentioned above. One thing I really liked about this bowl is that it didn't have rice in it -- something that would've made it too overwhelming. This was the perfect combo and portion size. Someone else in our small group got the avocado toast (more avocado!!) and also said it was excellent. Definitely plan to return!
