Came back a second time Wings are amazing but pretty expensive. 10 for $19. We split the flavors. Jerk chick and spicy hot honey. The jerk was so good. I got my veggie Flatbread pizza. I loved it. Didn't need the tomatoes though. Good service. Free parking lot in the back but it can be confusing to see and figure out where to go. This place is huge and has plenty of space.

Decor gets 5,stars, food gets 3. Food wasn't bad by any means, just underwhelming. Chicken & Waffles were not memorable, the sandwich fared better. Portions were generous though one of the orders was messed up and took a bit to correct, not sure the waitress understood or paid attention. Skip the curly fries option and stay with the steak cut fries...fresher and better for sure. The train theme was well executed and the wall art complemented each room well.

I came here for a drink and apps with a friend. I've been here before but it's been a while. The place has great decor and nicely decorated with a rustic feel. They have a lot of beers on tap and cocktails. The cocktail I had was delicious. One of the best I've had in a while. They had a happy hour so we ordered some food. Loaded potato skins were great they were twice baked. They were very filling. Waitress was friendly and helpful. There is a large parking lot in the back which is helpful in a busy town. I will definitely be back!

Good food, good drinks and good service! We sat outside in the patio area, it was quiet and peaceful. We had a great time!

I found this place when looking for a new brunch spot and was so happy I came across it! I rarely find myself in Glen Rock but will definitely be coming back for this place. It's located in a shopping center, but don't be thrown off- the interior is very trendy! My friends and I each had a mimosa flight and loved them! The three options were all delicious and the perfect portions. It made it very easy for me to decide what I would order next time. I also had the breakfast tostadas and loved them. We will definitely be back!

This was my second time at Stone and Rail. Although I really enjoyed the atmosphere, as well as the location itself; the first time I would say that I was definitely underwhelmed with my meal.. and in short, I knew that I would not return for steak here again... So, when my friend suggested that we come here for lunch, I wasn't even familiar with the name until we pulled up... and open-mindedly gave it another shot. I'm so glad that I did! I did see gluten-free options clearly marked on the menu, but as I was not sure if gluten-free buns were available, I decided to ask. And they were! I'm not sure where they source their bread from, but it was definitely one of the better gluten-free buns I've had. Once I knew that that was an option, I decided on the bacon blue burger, and was very happy with my decision. Being cooked to a nice medium rare, the patty itself had flavor, which is not something that I find often. The toppings were fresh, and the shoestring fries were a good accompaniment. My lunchmates were also happy with their meals, as well as our drinks all around. I could see myself returning to see what other gems the menu has to offer!

When we attended an event earlier this year we had a major issue with the manager. After contacting the owner, he went out of his way to make things right for our social group. He hosted a lovely event for us and the food and drinks were wonderful.

Fun, sports-type bar with some events like trivia night. Hot honey pepperoni was really good.

The manager has no customer service experience. The food was mediocre. The ambiance felt like they are not welcome to minorities.

10/5 Stars!! We…read morerecently had my Mom's 60th birthday party at the Railyard Tavern. I worked with Bob in coordinating everything. He was very accommodating and quick to reply to email. He was a big help in answering any question I had. Our party was roughly 25 people and we reserved the back room for the party. The back room was big enough for all of us to fit comfortably without it feeling cramped. We ordered the apps ahead of time and were told that they would be ready at 5:30. Sure enough, at 5:30 all of the apps came out and they were a big hit. Everything was fantastic. We got some large pizzas, nachos, mozzarella sticks, potstickers, and calamari. There was practically nothing left. The entree's were great and came without delay. I didn't hear a single complaint from any of the guests. I'd be remiss if I didn't talk about our waiter for the night, Alan. I don't think I've ever seen someone be so on top of things before. He handled the whole room essentially by himself and somehow it never seemed like there was a single hiccup the whole night. He was beyond excellent. He was such a good communicator and kept me in the loop with timelines and was overall very organized. He played a significant role in the night going as well as it did. My whole family, and most importantly my mom, had such a wonderful night. And I have Bob, Alan, and the rest of the staff to thank for that.

I had the banana pudding, it was perfectly moist and not too strong on the banana. The beers were cold and refreshing on a sat night listening to live bands? Couldn't get any better! We stopped in mid-week for a family dinner after work and even on a Wednesday the place was buzzing. The restaurant itself is pretty tiny, which makes for a cozy atmosphere but also means tables are very close together. If you can, I'd definitely recommend making a reservation. The menu is somewhat minimal, but the food overall was good. I eat gluten-free and noticed the options were a bit limited, which made ordering slightly challenging. I ended up going with the sea scallops. They were nicely cooked, but the portion was smaller than I expected--five small scallops with some vegetables. For the price, I do wish the portion had been a bit more generous. I have to admit I left still a little hungry. My dad ordered the short rib grilled cheese and really enjoyed it. That was probably the standout dish at our table. My sister ordered the honey bourbon chicken and said it was okay, but afterward she mentioned she probably should have gone with the short rib grilled cheese instead. One surprise of the night was live music on a Wednesday. I usually enjoy live music, but since we were hoping to catch up as a family it made conversation a little difficult. The music was fairly loud for such a small space. Service was friendly and attentive throughout the meal. They also have a rewards program, which worked out nicely--my dad received a complimentary dessert for his birthday. I ordered the crème brûlée, which was a great way to end the meal. A couple practical tips: parking in Ridgewood can be tricky. The restaurant advertises valet parking, though we didn't use or see it during our visit. If you find street parking, make sure to feed the meter because the town is known for giving out tickets. In warmer months they do offer some outdoor sidewalk seating, though it looks fairly limited. It also appears they have a happy hour, though we didn't arrive in time to try it. Overall, I'd recommend checking out Steel Wheel Tavern--just be mindful of the timing of your visit, especially if you're hoping for a quieter dinner.

[Blowing on my nails.] The menu is a mix of American comfort food and gastropub classics, but with flair, and has a bit of everything to satisfy different palates. Our eyes were probably bigger than our stomachs as we ordered 2 apps, 2 entrees, and 2 cocktails, and it was an enormous amount of food. The portions are definitely what you'd call hearty, and everything was very tasty. Thursdays are all day happy hour so we picked the fried calamari appetizer at the HH price (still a full and generous plate and didn't seem like a downsized version) which were tender and well-battered, as well as the hot honey wings which were meaty and substantial. The short rib parpadelle with housemade pasta and a perfectly medium-rare, well seasoned hanger steak with truffle fries completed our satisfying and belly-stuffing meal. The cocktails are serious as well - the presence of a drink with egg white is my personal litmus test for a bar that knows what it's doing, so the Thyme to Bloom special had my name on it. I'm salivating just looking at photos of dishes I didn't order, and am already plotting my return!
