The venue offers a good seat for everyone and there are always new comedians and headliners. Funny stuff and JP is obviously living the dream as he also delivers a hilarious routine in addition to he and Janelle running a well organized event twice per night. I'm just so thankful that Gilbert has grown over the decades and now includes a comedy club that delivers laughs for all walks of life. I really enjoyed the show, even though a couple of the opening local comedians were not funny at all. My only complaint is the super overpriced drinks. I probably wont be back for that reason, sorry JP but 32 bucks for 2 beers and 2 red bulls is a bit excessive. Otherwise I would have definitely left a 5 star review honestly. read more

This is a standup comedy club with various comedians in about a two hour timeframe. I would say that about half of the comedians were ok/average and the other half were really good. Not bad for the price of a ticket. If you're offended easily do not go! I did enjoy that they weren't afraid to offend anyone. This is what comedians seem to lack anymore because people are such crybabies these days that most are afraid to crack jokes that make people laugh. The content was very adult natured so make sure that you are mature enough to handle that. The place is very small and has a snack bar that serves alcohol, soda, water, candy bars and chips. Quality of entertainment sub par. they do have a upside. plenty of seating I saw the owners review to another review that was negative, and all I can see was an owner being very rude because his feelings were hurt. The owner/comic meets you at the door letting you know you're in for a good time. The comics were great and covered a lot of topics with wit. On a recent Thursday evening our family group purchased tickets online to attend the 7 pm comedy performances. Patrons are not allowed inside the venue until escorted by the hostess. Unfortunately we were having a difficult time locating our actual tickets on our cellular phone. The owner who is also I believe one of the comedians became very irritated and belligerent with our party using extreme profanity and unkindly requested that we remove ourselves from the property. Even going as far as to call the police department saying we were assaulting him. The individual requested a refund to the show which he stated was sold out and after a 30 minute unpleasant encounter with him finally refunded our ticket price x7. I'm aware others in our group have written reviews and his rebuttal has been his version of the incident. Personally I can't understand the anger he displayed or his continued use of profanity when he depends on the public to attend his shows to remain in business. read more

I will add, as a member of that same party that Mary S. mentioned, Jim Perry was the first to raise his voice at anyone. Multiple of us in the group tried to have reasoned discussions with him about the situation to which he responded that we could all "go f*ck ourselves." He also originally REFUSED to refund the $140 we had spent at his business, telling us to get off of his property (the public sidewalk) and that people who speak to him like that get no money back. My take is that this man has an inflated ego that was severely hurt by a woman asking him to have patience with her situation. It seems like that might be a common theme for him. Nothing to say about his comedy, as we didn't get to see it. But I would steer clear of this place unless you want to run the chance of him blowing up in your face and honestly creating a very hostile situation in front of his own business. If you would be ok with your wife, daughter, grandma, or anyone you love being treated like garbage by this man, then go ahead and be a patron of his. As for our party and many of our friends who've heard about this situation, we will not be returning. read more
