I already had an infection from a botched job somewhere else plus a not so smart er doctor my nipple where Swollen, angry, red as hell--I thought I'd have to rip them out myself. But Shorty just took one look, no drama, and said, "Sit. We're fixing this." She was so calm and knowledgeable and kept me laughing throughout my ordeal she Gloved up, fresh everything, and slid those rings out with this gentle, steady pull. No tugging, no pain--just... gone. Like magic. Then she cleaned me up, gave me aftercare tips that actually worked, and told me to come back if I had any questions or problems. The whole thing Over in five minutes. And yeah--she's tiny, but those hands are rock-solid. Shorty is an Absolute legend great piercer, and knowledgeable medical field. I walked out feeling fixed, I'd let her save me again--any day. When I first walked in the male at the desk was not very friendly and did not even greet us. We were handed over to the piercers and one asked the other "Do you want her or do you want me to take her?" the other responded "I don't care". At this point I'm don't really feel like a valued customer, I'm just whatever to them. Not one person said hello to me, introduced themself, or even asked me my name. The whole process felt like I was being rushed and they wanted me in and out very quickly (despite no other customers in the shop). I was moved to the small room in the back and every question I asked felt like I was bothering the piercer, giving me short answers instead of helping me to make a decision. The jewelry did not seem properly sterilized, just quickly sprayed down, no autoclave machine. I did not even see the piercer wash her hands. With the unfriendly and unprofessional staff, hot and stuffy room, the piercer's baby crying in the small shop, and unclean practices I chose to leave. I did have to pay $20 because the piercer said she already opened the needle (which was opened before selecting jewelry and marking). Not complaining because I understand those are her supplies, but I wish she waited until she saw that I was ready and comfortable. Was hoping for a different outcome because I saw so many great reviews, but perhaps I caught them on an off day like a few other negative reviews mentioned

He pierced my ear and used a clasp earring which I never seen done before but I trust the owner and all his years of experience. Bad idea. Not even a week later my ears were in so much pain and swollen, the claps were so tight they cut the skin on my ears and my skin began to heal around the earring. I had to go to a tattoo shop to have the earring removed. I had blisters near the end of the clasps and my skin over grew the two ends of the clasp to separate the earring from my ear. There was no room between my swollen skin and earring to where we could cut the earring with pliers so spent over 35 minutes trying to remove each ring. I was in the wrist pain I was crying screaming blood was everywhere my entire left side of my jaw went numb and I almost past out cause the pain. My sister came with me and got her cartilage pierced that day as well. Just this morning she sent me a video of two out of three of her piercings were ingrown with the skin in her ear. The jewelry he used was too small and there was no room left for swelling.

I got a lot of recommendations from other parents that Piercing Pagoda is a great place to get it done. So, I did some research. And I was really pleased with what they had on their website about their employees/piercers. I called the day I wanted to get her ears pierced and asked when there would be two people available to pierce her ears at the same time. (Just to get it over with in one try instead of her freaking out from one piercing and trying to get her to do the other.) The lady that answered the phone said that two people will be available around 1 pm. So I booked an appointment. She also told me over the phone that depending on my daughter, we would be able to get two people to pierce her at one time, but if she is fussy or cannot be still for very long, it isn't guaranteed that both ears can be pierced at once. Which is definitely understandable. So, 1 pm comes. And I pick out some earrings. Pay. Then we get ready to pierce her ears. My daughter wasn't fussy at all. Just a little curious when they were marking her ears. I was instructed to hold her a certain way. And five seconds later, she got her ears pierced! It was quick and easy. She cried for about 30 seconds. And then she was completely fine. I was then given a rundown on how to properly clean her ears. Then I was on my way!
