First - this is an amazing park…read more 1. Soccer fields everywhere!!! 2. Cricket, I walk by on the weekends and watch the matches - i miss cricket! 3. The walking trails are well maintained and both bikers and walkers are friendly! This is an amazing park. With indoor tennis, indoor pool as well as outdoor tennis, and outdoor pool. A water recreation area. Soccer fields and baseball/softball diamonds as well as a huge picnic area. This part has something from everyone! It was windy while i was walking in the park. But, the people were still out watching their kids play soccer! It was clean and had all the machines you could think of. The membership price is reasonable but the gym can be packed due to the location and the size. The gym lockers has a no photo policy on all the mirrors so all the progress pic girlies be mindful. Other than that, I wish this location worked out for me but unfortunately it's far from where I live. But if you are thinking to join? It's a no brainer.

Located in the Fallsgrove area, the community center is both convenient to my office and a very affordable gym option. The facilities (all brand new) include a big basketball court, a ping-pong room, a fitness room with weight and cardio machines, a playground outside for the kiddies, a community garden that's starting to grow, and a few rooms for classes/events. And, the building was built with many sustainable features (i.e. geothermal heating, locally sourced materials, efficient water faucets) I've been a fitness member for a while which means I can access the fitness room whenever the center is open. On top of that I take a weekly kickboxing class that is a lot of fun (but also kicks my butt.) I really like that I can take as many or as few classes as I want and just pay for what I actually use through the Parks & Rec department. At typical membership gyms, you pay an inflated fee to pay for all these classes you don't even go to and all the personal trainers to annoy you to take a training session and all the sales people to haggle with you over an extra $5 off the 'joining fee'. Here you can pay a flat rate and get access for a month, 3 months, 6 months, or a year. And there is a discount if you're a resident of Rockville. The community center also has community events like basketball tournaments, festivals for kids, teen movie nights, and other family oriented things that are a nice addition to the area. I haven't tried these out as I don't play basketball, am not a kid nor am I a teen but they look like fun family functions. Overall I highly recommend TFCC and am very satisfied, especially since I don't have to commit to a membership gym!

This is a large park with a variety of activities. They have tennis courts, basketball court,…read morebaseball and softball fields, a play ground, dog park, skate park, and a swim club. The number listed is for the Park Manager but it seems like some other activities have their own separate phone numbers. The park is located on Georgia Avenue and the sign is somewhat tucked off to the side. I've driven past the park hundreds of times but never visited until the other morning, when my husband locked his keys in his car while getting ready for a softball game and I needed to go unlock his car. As I entered the park I saw a large building to my left which I think is the indoor swim center but I didn't go in to investigate. On the right were a number of tennis courts, a play ground and as I continued I got to the ball fields, which were on either side of the road, and the dog park. I also noticed a lake near some of the ball fields. My husband has played a lot of softball on a number of fields and says the Olney fields are some of the best he has played on. There were some metal bleachers for spectators and a nearby rest room station. It was clean and neat and rest rooms are not always available at some of the area ball fields. I've seen the skate park from Georgia Avenue but didn't pass it as I drove through to the ball fields. As others have noted there is plenty of parking in each area.
