After my water heater decided to die on me Wednesday night, I had to find a company fast to get it fixed, I first called Steves plumbing BIG MISTAKE, they at first said they could do it even though i told them a few time it was a manufactured home and needed a special tank, well they said they could make it work, halfway into the job they removed old tank and he stops and tells me i need a special tank, DUH I told him that, well 722.00 is what that company charged just to remove my old tank and left because they wanted 3975.0 for special tank instead of the original 2200. for a standard tank, so i went back to calling around and OMG im glad I did, i talked to Ron and told him everything that happened so far and he came same day i called, gave me a free estimate, also noticed that the tech from the other company didnt cap my gas line, Ron capped that for me andhe also found the tank i needed that same day, tried to help me to get a temporary fix so me and my kids could have hot water over the weekend. The tank came in today Monday morning and he called me right when it did and came to install it, he was very knowledgeable and very thorough and did a great job and in a very timely manner, cleaned up and all, if I didnt find him I would still be without hot water, he went above and beyond and helped any way he could, I will never go to another company other than JRC, Ron is the man!! I have a AO Smith Gas Water Heater and I literally called more than 30 plumbers and no one wanted to deal with this high end and new type of heater. I was getting rather frustrated that we bought a very expensive heater that no one wanted to service. Somehow I found Ron and he answered the phone right away. He knew exactly what type of heater I had and found the part number within 10 min for a new igniter. He made multiple calls to find the part and luckily found the part locally (the other plumber couldn't figure out where to find this part). He picked up the part and came right to our house and fixed it within an hour. Ron is very knowledgeable, provided estimates up front, and made everyone at home very happy! My 15 years old gas water heater has overflowing issue from the output of pressure relief valve. I thought it is caused by the pressure relief valve. I found Ron's service and called him. He has patience and is professional. He asked me some questions about the heater and the issue. And then he figured out that it should be caused by the expansion tank. I got quotes for two solutions, having a new water heater or just replacing the expansion tank. The quotes are fair. We scheduled a time for the service. Ron pinged me before he arrived. I had a water heater that decided on its own that all I needed was cold water. Of course, it was just past the warrantee period and all of my attempts to light the pilot light were failures. I called on a Friday evening and Ron answered and he walked me through what I should do, helping to troubleshoot it over the phone. I noticed my Water Heater was leaking and received a fast quote and fast service, Then while filling the Water Heater he discovered my Water Pressure was to high which could cause potential problems and also explained why the water in my Kitchen sink had so much force, So He was also able to install a Pressure regulator on the mainline in the house now I notice many improvements in house... Called Ron about 11:00 AM and explained the pilot light problem we were having. He was here about 2:30 with the parts needed in hand. While he was replacing the parts he carefully explained their function and some improvements that had been made. EXCELENT service, no unnecessary trips back and forth to the truck - very efficient. Saved the day! Ron was a Godsend. I had just cracked my pelvis the day before, and of course our water heater started leaking on a Saturday night.
