A few weeks ago I chatted with a fashion merchandiser who mentioned all the lines and stores her company services. When she included TJ Maxx, I said I was surprised. "Don't they get surplus from other stores to discount what hasn't been sold?" "Not necessarily," she replied. "That's what they want you to think!" Hmmm.... doesn't make a difference to me, but I thought it interesting that they have their own lines under different labels.

How ever the woman's floor was a bit disorganized and chaotic. Sizes on the racks were in the wrong paces. Over all this is not like the century of years ago in turns of selection for clothes and shoes. Many items are not discounted either or it is a very small discount. If you are in the area I'd check in out but it's not worth coming to visit the city just for this store.

The store is multiple levels and probably the largest Marshall's I've ever been to, though the layout of the building makes navigating a bit tricky in some instances, such as the L-shaped men's area.
