I wanted to come and leave a review and thank you to the owner J. My car had been stalling while driving for the past few months and the alternator needed to be replaced. I received several quotes, the highest was $700-1200 For a 2016 Nissan maxima. I know inflation is high but dam for a maxima? Well this place was the most reasonable, the owner was so cool and could have easily tried to take advantage because I am a woman. he checked to make sure it was my alternator before just taking my $$ and saying that's the reason. I am so big on honesty and good business. I brought my car in around 4:30pm and it was ready the next day. The staff is great but I took my car to them with new rotors and break pads in hopes to fix a rubbing noise that my car was randomly making. I ended up changing my break pads,rotors,front control joints and bearings. I took it back countless times as my car has a loud squeaky noise now, the rubbing noise went away but still comes back.I had to replace the rotor due too the mechanic leaving a metal bracket on there wrong. I just gave up on this issue and will be taking my car to a different mechanic shop to see what was done and give a report to the BAR. Disappointed read more

He's a very serious man but very fair and caring, treat me and my wife like if we where family. I received a prompt and reasonable estimate through the Yelp system and was able to bring my car in the next business day for new brake pads and resurfacing. No one was in the office when I arrived and no one who passed by seemed to want to speak or help. I had to approach a mechanic who was sitting in a car and was told to go 2 doors down as they're owned by the same people. I went to eat across the street and 50 minutes later, received a call stating that my rotors needed to be replaced (as opposed to resurfaced) and this would double the estimate I received. This wasn't in my budget so I ended up using the SNAP financing they offer. I wasn't told until my card was about to be charged that there is a $15 fee to use the financing. Not ideal but what else can you do when you need your car fixed? I ended up paying $185 out of pocket and will be making monthly payments. The financing terms are 'no interest' if fully paid within 90 days which I will be doing. This auto center is filled with other auto stores so it gets hectic and crowded. Cars double parked all over the place. Just something to know before you go. Overall, the customer service was friendly. read more

I brought my 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland to J's Auto Repair Garage and I am thankful I did. I worked out my quotes with Nikki on yelp and met Joe at the office. Both of them were so helpful and I never felt any pressure. I know how to work on cars but I know my limits and with a recent injury I'm limited while I recover. The quote was very competitive and lower than other nearby mechanics. I came into the office with additional check engine codes and knew exactly what I needed. Joe was able to help me and was honest on what was wrong. I saved $ and the work was performed perfectly. My new struts and shocks make a huge difference. Smoother ride. New front and rear brake pads, and I brake nice and smooth. Tune up fixed the misfire from old spark plugs. I got all my work done in one day so Joe gave me a great discount on the additional work I needed done. Very personable and honest people here. I needed new brakes urgently, I sent a quote request at night and received a flat rate within minutes. I scheduled service for the next morning, the team at the shop was friendly and helpful. I picked up my car a few hours later since I ended up replacing all brakes and rotors, the car was ready and had easy checkout. I received images of my torn tire and was advised to replace immediately...I replaced it the next day. I ended up requesting to not perform an oil change due to expected additional parts needed but to my surprise they gave me a complimentary oil change. Last service was replacing rear suspension. Car sags now and they won't return any calls. Employee lost lug nuts from one of the wheels. When asked about it. I had a super great experience with this establishment. Was able to get a quote for my oil change on Yelp and also a same day appointment. They had me in and out right away. I liked that they had a nice indoor waiting area while your vehicle is being serviced. They're super nice, reliable and honest. I asked them to check my brakes while I was there and told me they were still good. Most place will tell you there's additional things wrong with your car to scam you to spending more money, from my experience, a lot of small places do this.
