To begin you walk in and there is a sign that reads "Come as strangers, leave as family" well my service was awful. If that is how they treat their family count me out. Maybe my boyfriend and I were just unlucky for the waitress that we had, because we heard nice interactions from the other waitresses but ours was borderline rude. She was nice to other customers offering them more water and stamp cards (we were offered neither). If I was only rating based on service I would give them a 0 star rating. Now for the food. I ordered a build your own burger with tomato, garlic mayo, cheese, lettuce, and bacon, and a side of fries. My food was disappointing. The fries have no seasoning on them at all, the burger had way too much mayo, and the garlic mayo did not taste very much like garlic. My boyfriends food however was a breakfast dish the Unipanther omelet and it was very good. The portion size was so big that we could of split one. Such a good breakfast this morning. I had the sausage and gravy (half order) and a side of hash browns. The biscuits were very light and the gravy was delicious. The hash browns were cooked perfectly, I love them extra crispy! My wife had an egg white omelet which was huge and very tasty and our server was great. My family just enjoyed a late breakfast here. My husband had the breakfast burrito, my son the 2 eggs and meat and for me the pancakes. Sam our waitress was super friendly and welcoming and upon learning it was our first visit made recommendations and gave us good time to study the menu. The place was busy (Saturday at 11) but Sam was super efficient. As a coffee drinker I loved that I got my own pot, even with only 1 coffee drinker in our group. Pancakes are huge and filling and super yummy- I tasted lots of vanilla. Burrito was wrapped perfectly and stuffed with flavor( yes my husband let me sample a bite). My son's meal was perfect- sunny side up eggs and crisp bacon. We were all so full but upon leaving were tempted by the cookies and bars and pies- next time! I was pleasantly surprised. The food was pretty decent, and while it didn't stand out as spectacular, it was hearty and filling with good sized portions. Stopped in for breakfast yesterday with a party of 4, and was really disappointed! We waited in the front for someone to acknowledge is for about 4-5 minutes. That doesn't sound like a long time, but when there are several people walking by without as much as a "Hello!"... Feels rude! Two of us ordered coffee and the server never offered to refill during our meal; I had to walk up to the counter to ask for some, and waited and waited. I eventually sat back down without any coffee. We flagged another server over to ask for coffee since ours was MIA, and I asked her if they had decaf. Her response- "Well, I could go get it..." Wow! I KNOW you CAN, so sorry to bother you at work!
