My child likes this place. And I like supporting small businesses. I typically order from the window outside but there is an inside seating area as well as a couple tables outside. Thank you for serving Italian ice for us non dairy eating humans.

Terrible. This is the middle option for soft serve cone. Such a small serving. What a rip off.

I have been coming to J's for quite sometime now, whether it be with my son's or the wife, it has been an enjoyable place to go to get a classic cone, sundae, or more niche items like the Italian ice cream and cylcones (blizzard dupe). Unsure of the woman's name, but she is always friendly and gives great service! Sitting outside and watching the nightlife during summer and spring reminds you of the days of Foster's Freeze. I paid 7.90 with a small debit fee and was able to share this Rocky Road cyclone jr with my wife, crunchy and tasted AMAZING!!! Will continue to support this place for years to come, deserves every bit of my business.

Perfect place to visit after dinner. They have tons of options like ice cream, shaved ice, cyclones, and more. I love cake cones so I just ordered a simple chocolate ice cream with a cake cone and it hit the spot. My friends ordered cyclones mixed with different cookies and candies which they also enjoyed. Everything was well-priced and the service was great. Cool place!

Ice cream is amazing! Service is amazing! Just be patient, it's just one person working the parlor. She's super nice! Drive up, park, order, and you're out! Perfect for a hot day!

I threw my smores cyclone as soon as I got it. It was runny and it was just marshmallows topped off with crushed up graham crackers (not worth the $) also my sister got a soft serve and it was already running down her hand. These pics are my friends. Their cyclones were all melted

I'm thinking of starting a Gofundme for this place. In need of a major facelift, like BADLY! The quality of what is offered here and service is definitely unmatched to how this place looks. Don't judge a book by its cover is the perfect example J's ice cream parlor exudes. I pass by during the summer months and there always seems to be a crowd enjoying their sweet treats. Tonight, I tried the mudslide cyclone and I kid you not, there must've been an entire pack of Oreos in my cup! Lol! I got full halfway and there seems to only be 2 size offerings: medium & large. There's no dine in options here, don't be fooled. The door remains locked and you order from the window outside. Looking into the parlor, you can see tons of boxes their supplies come in. It's just untidy and really could be organized better. So for ambiance, they get zero stars. I have yet to try the Italian ice but will do so on my next trip here.

Their food menus differ, as well. With that being said, this Class 302 is closer to my house, so it's frequented more. I probably would have made this a 5 star review, but I haven't tried enough of their food or drinks to make a sound judgement. While I can tolerate spicy foods, in my day and age now, spicy foods aren't a good look for me sometimes. I like how I can opt out of the spice here. I've had the Pork Bone Noodle soup and the Miso Udon soup, both are delicious. They both come spicy and in different degrees of spicy, but, again, I opt out of the spice. Their popcorn chicken also comes in different degrees of spicy, and I've tried the no-spice, and 1st degree (??) level of spicy. The popcorn chicken does have a distinct flavor to it, maybe it's Chinese 5 spice (?), I'm not sure. It took some getting used to, but my twins love the popcorn chicken from here. The fried basil they add to it is a nice touch of flavor. I'd probably choose the fried pork chop over the popcorn chicken, flavor wise. The pork chop is topped with cilantro and served with their house made sweet chili sauce. I guess the secret to their self-serve drinks is to use to slushes in lieu of the ice so that your drink isn't watered down. Now, there are instructions on how to self-serve your drinks here: *Order the size of drink you'd like (small, medium, or large). *Ask for a sample cup if you're not sure what to get. *Add your boba and other fillings first (fruit, egg tart, popping boba, lychee jelly, Oreo crumbs, etc.) *Choose your drink combinations and fill your cup carefully. *If you're gonna add toppings after you fill your cup with your drink, leave some space for said topping. *If there's some overflow of your drink, you might be asked to drink some of your drink or it will be poured out into a sample cup. Your drink can't seal properly if it's not flush with the top of the cup. *You might have to wait a minute for your cup to be sealed because Other Patrons. I always add one scoop of boba, and have tried the following combinations: *Coconut Slush-Ube Slush-Coconut Slush-Lychee Jelly *Coconut Slush-Pineapple Passion Slush-Lychee Jelly *Coconut Slush-Mango Berry-Pineapple Passion-Lychee Jelly *Pineapple Passion-Hisbiscus Tea *Coconut Slush-Thai Tea My twins choose a combination of the Strawberry Cream Slush, Horchata Slush, and Coconut Slush. They'll add Oreo cookie crumbles sometimes, too. I'm a fan of Jasmine Milk Tea, but when I tried it here, it wasn't Jasmine'ing like I'm used to, so I don't get it here. There's a good mix of ages/generations, families vs. couples vs. friend groups vs. solo diners, and while it can get packed it doesn't last for long. I've Shazam'd some music here so the playlists are pretty good. We're always greeted with a "Hi, Welcome!" when we walk thru the doors, so staff is pretty cool. Oh, the door can be heavy to open because of the AC on. We've always had some seats to sit on whilst waiting for our food to-go. Parking close by is a usual occurrence, but this shop is nestled in a very busy shopping/restaurant center.

One of the things I appreciate most is that you can customize the matcha level. I'm pretty caffeine-sensitive, so being able to adjust it means I can still enjoy a delicious drink without overdoing the caffeine. Today I tried the Matcha Lemon Bar Latte, and it was exactly what I was hoping for. It really does capture the flavor of a lemon bar--bright, citrusy, creamy, and just the right amount of sweet. The lemon flavor comes through nicely without overpowering the matcha, so both flavors complement each other really well. If you're a fan of lemon desserts or want to try something a little different, I definitely recommend ordering this while it's still on the menu. It's a 10/10 for me, and I'll definitely be ordering it again before it's gone!
