The guys who installed the system were right on time, very friendly and were done when they said they'd be. They even swept up the dust in my house after putting a seal around the vents. Bart came back the next day to check on the system and to set up surge protectors on the equipment. The price was well under my other quotes and I really appreciated the "paid in full discount" they offered. I'm going to sign up for an annual service from the company as well. It is a hefty expense, but I'm happy with Ellis Air and I'm glad I decided to give my business to them.

I contacted Ellis Heating and Air in Killeen, TX in July 2025 to service my unit. The technician…read moreadded freon yet advised me there was a leak that he could not find, further advising that my unit was "cheap" and needed to be replaced. Feeling a bit insulted, we ignored his opinion and thanked the tech for his assistance. I called Ellis again September of 2025 because my unit again was not cooling. Ellis sent another technician, who advised again our unit was "cheap" and the compressor needed to be replaced, and we did not have a warranty. Ellis quoted $3200.00 to replace the compressor, or, $3600.00 for a new unit. We questioned this because we just purchased this home in 2022, so we researched our unit ourselves. We scanned the QR code on the back of our unit which immediately reflected a full warranty through 2031. I was able to contact the company who installed the unit. They immediately came out and confirmed the compressor had not failed but we had a clogged filter dryer. $150.00 later our "cheap" unit is working perfectly! CONSUMERS BEWARE!!!

Sosa has been my exclusive plumber since I bought my house 6 years ago. They've always been…read morereliable and efficient. I've recommended them to my friends and neighbors, given them 5-star reviews, and kept coming back to them. But recently they did something that's left me in shock. I had a common clog that I wasn't able to fix on my own. Sosa came out to investigate. In the process, it turns out they dropped a piece of equipment into my pipes that clogged it further. They didn't notice and couldn't figure out what the clog was, so they gave me an estimate for $6000 to dig under my house to clear it. I told them to hold off. I had another company come in to take a look. They said there was some sort of obstruction. After working a couple of hours, they pulled it out and discovered it was another plumber's equipment. And then charged me $600 for removing a foreign object. So now I'm out $600 because of Sosa's screwup - a screwup they wanted to charge me $6000 to fix - and my original clog is still there! My sink still doesn't drain. And it's not the mistake that has me so furious - things happen. It's that they won't take responsibility for it. When I called and explained the situation, the most they would offer was a $100 COUPON for my next service with them! I tried escalating, but after a single round of phone tag, they've gone silent. So beware this company - they tried to charge me $6000 to fix a problem they created themselves, and then refused to compensate me in any meaningful way when I cleaned up their mess with someone else.
