I called BSW and made an appointment to get my car evaluated. when I got there I met with the owner, who took his time showing me before and after pictures of his work, then we walked around my car and with a special light, he showed me all of the scratches on the paint of my BRAND NEW CAR!!! ??? hair scratches ALL over the car! we went over the various packages that BSW offers and I picked complete exterior restoration and protection as well as internal detailing and coating protection of my leatherette seats. The price was not cheap! but compared to other places, it was the most cost effective for me and for what I was looking for. the work took 2 days to complete, but when I came back to pick up my car, one could really see how vibrant the paint color and shade was.... this is the way the car should had looked from the dealership! the inside was perfect cleaned and BSW conducted a demonstration on my leatherette seats, how spills do not get absorbed by the seat material and how easy it is to clean after the spills. When I took my car home, my wife was so but so impressed that she too had her car done (only the complete exterior restoration and protection treatment). BSW explained that with hand washes the treatment should last up 18 months before having to do another optional protective cote. my wife and I had the treatment done over 8 months, we are doing our own car hand washing and the paint still looks as good as it did, when we first had it done! drying the car is a breeze since the water pebbles up and streaks off the paint ( same thing happens when it rains ) one of our neighbors liked our cars paint treatment so much, that he too had his truck done. However - my car, a Corolla driven infrequently and garage kept was not a difficult job. I just wanted a good exterior cleaning and wax and a thorough interior cleaning and with special attention to the upholstery shampoo - which I mentioned on the phone. The job I got was one rung up from the local carwash. No attempt was made to buff out any surface imperfections and the interior is such a disappointment to see every time I get in the car. I could have done a better job with warm water and a shop-vac. The car just wasn't that dirty, so they could have spent a little effort on the few spots on the very durable fabric seats. I think they just didn't bother because it's a little economy car and they had already been paid months ago, so it wasn't important to them. The evening I picked it up, the staff were oohing over an expensive sports car in the lot - I just think they have more interest in flashy cars than in customer service for the average Jane. It's been several weeks since the service, but it still bothers me every time I see the spots on the upholstery.
