I wanted to replace the steelies and hub caps on my SUV with rims, but I didn't want to get them from a chain store. I like that JT's is an independent shop, and it helps a lot that they've been around over 10 years and have a lot of great reviews. I went there on a Monday to see what 17s they had in stock, but didn't like they had. The guy took me to the manager who looked up some other models for me. We found one. He gave me an affordable quote and wrote it down for me, with a 45K mile warranty. He ordered it and asked me to come back the next day around 10:30. They arrived the next day the same time I did. I walked a few doors down to a taqueria and had tacos and coffee while I waited (and played Scrabble on the phone to kill time). I called about an hour and a half later to check in. My car was ready! Excellent service, excellent results. They won us over! We had a slow leak we were worried about and tried to fix it on our own with Slime. We made it worse. The gunk clogged our valve on top of the leak. I called a not-to-be-named mainstream auto shop, and without missing a beat, they said they'd only replace a tire in our situation. JT's was the exact opposite, in all the best ways. They answer the phone almost immediately every time and with so much energy that you feel comforted - like your problem is fixable. Then you get there, and the team is helpful and efficient. They get right to business and clearly know their tires. On top of it all, I literally watched our service member make sure every new step he added was necessary. Instead of upselling immediately to a full valve replacement, he tested both parts to make sure it was necessary. That was the moment they won our loyalty, honestly. Fifteen to twenty minutes later, our valve is replaced, the nail found and removed, and the tire patched. They charged a very reasonable price. 10/10 recommend. read more

I called JT's around 8:30am on a Saturday morning and asked if they had 215/55/r17 tires in stockand I asked for the least expensive brand. JT quoted me a price over the phone and set an appointment for 10am the same day. I arrived at 9:59am to see my 4 brand new tires stacked neatly in front of the building with my last name on them. I told the guy who greeted me that those were my tires. Next thing I know, about 5 or 6 guys come out to my car like a NASCAR pit crew and then, BAM, I'm back on the road with my brand new tires at 10:11am. Tires changed out and paid for in practically 10 minutes. Blew my mind!!! Chick-Fil-Adrive thru took me longer to get through that same day. Hahaha read more

I have been visiting JT's tires for the past 7 years and have been very loyal since they are so efficient and the prices are reasonable but today was not good. I went to have my tires rotated. I know I need to purchase new tires but a rotation for my 2 wheel drive is my only option at this time and I will save to buy more tires. When I went the worker said my tires were bad and it was dangerous and was shaking his head at me while looking at my tires. I already know this and now feel worse for not being able to afford new tires. Then while removing the lug nuts I was informed they would have to break one post to remove the tire since the lug nut was on there too tight or put on wrong when they last did my tires! I said they were the last ones to replace the tires and why wasn't I informed of the issue before and was told, they probably didn't notice. (seriously) Fast service yes, attention to detail no. I asked how it could be fixed and they referred me to JT's mechanic shop. So this means I paid them to mess it up, paid them to break it and then have to pay them to fix what they messed up and broke! I am so upset because it took me forever to find a "tire place" that I was comfortable with, hence the loyalty. Now I have a find a new provider and find an honest mechanic that won't charge me an arm and leg to fix the broken tire post while checking the lug nuts every time I drive to make sure they're not coming loose from having to make up for the broken post. I love JT's Tires. I have used them 4xs now. Other than Steve's Warehouse tires in Galveston but no longer where I live, JT's is the quickest tire service I have ever experienced. Repair or new tires, JT's is fast and very reasonable. Will always be a first choice as it was today. He should call it JT's In and Out Tires. I am not a robot. I noticed my tire had a nail in it and along my route noticed this place, i pulled in and requested to get my tire patched. The guy proceeded to do so, he dismounted the tire using a large metal crowbar forcefully pushing it between the rim and tire not only in one spot but multiple spots. After patching it, he proceeded th remount the tire and ended up doing the same thing. After putting the tire back on my vehicle i noticed all the dame and he blew it off saying sorry in the worse manner. He charged $15 to basically cause $100 of damage to my rim. These people do not care about about your rims but rather to finish the job as quickly as possible even if it means damaging your property. read more

Christmas Eve tire issues sent me looking online for a tire shop near the in-laws. Google and yelp both showed high marks for JT's shop, a quick 3 minute phone call with the owner got me a holiday saving deal on 4 tires and luckily they were open for late afternoon service visits. I was there and greeted promptly by the staff, no pressure to buy extras. Fast forward 30 minutes, the truck was done and looking good!
