They have hands down the best tacos and salsa around. The location bites (fontana) but this little hole in the wall taco joint is banging. This place is definitely one of my cannot miss places when I go to Cali. Wish they'd build one in Indy. read more

They have the best potato salad in town! I always come here anytime I need to take a dish for a potluck and also usually treat myself to a crunchy taco or a slice of cheesecake. The husband loves their chicken on lazy Sundays. It's very clean in there, you can smell how clean it is and that's just very reassuring. The service is speedy and enjoyable. My job usually caters from Juan Pollo, so I decided to come here and ordered the family special with the Rotisserie Chicken and 2 XL sides. I love that this location has plenty of parking and the restaurant itself was clean with a good amount of seats inside. Service was good, and the person taking my order was very helpful. The food is still very good, we really like the taste and how very well cooked the chicken. However there are lukewarm cost cutting on there Salsa, we use to have always 2 medium salsa for the mini pack however they only put 1, so from time to time from now on I check and ask for the other salsa. Though a bit far from the freeways I traveled to this one from Chino, CA because of the reviews!! Not disappointed, It was clean and the food tasty but only gave 4 stars because was preordered and pick up time was met had to wait an additional 15 minutes after arrival despite prior catering pick up time scheduling. The reason why I'm giving them one star is due to the customer service. It seems like they don't wanna be there. It has a sign indicating if you want utensils or plates to ask for it and when you ask to get all moody, it seems that they don't appreciate that. My sister was in town and Juan Pollo is a childhood favorite of hers. On our way home, this location in Fontana was the closest. We ordered two whole chickens , an extra large potato salad, a small rice, large Diet Coke and corn on the cob. We took it all home to have for dinner. The chicken was flavorful and tender, just like what we remember. The potato salad was and is an all time favorite. Tender and well salted potatoes. The green onion makes a difference. What a great and friendly staff! I went in for a family pack and it was ready in less than 5 min. The young lady assumed I only was charged for two chickens and no sides but quickly realized she made a mistake. Quickly got my sides and also asked me what I would like to drink. Free small drink to make up for the issue. So I was in the mood for some chicken, but not fried chicken. I had seen this Juan Pollo when I drove by a couple of times prior. Off we went and what a meal we had! Fresh off the fire rotisserie chicken at it's best. Neither my wife or mother had ever been there so they took some time browsing the menu. The young lady at the counter who was taking our order was very patient, friendly and helpful. We finished placing our order and within minutes we receiving our food. The chicken was well cooked, well seasoned and tasty. I ordered a chicken bowl and it was gigantic, tasty but gigantic. My wife's chicken burrito was also huge, she enjoyed it. My kids really liked their food as well. Everyone was more than satisfied with their food and looking forward to their next visit to Juan Pollo. Where to start ...Saturday was my daughter's Sweet 16 and my taco person cancelled on me 30 minutes after he was supposed to be there. I had about 50 people at my house and more coming and no food. I start panicking, called Juan Pollo and within 20 minutes Allen and his team came to the rescue with a full set up of freshly cooked chicken, rice, beans, potato salad, green salad, dressings, tortillas and salsas. They also included utensils and plates which was great because that was going to be provided as well. I left with such a sense of gratefulness and gratitude for the speediness and excellence of the customer service that was provided. Three chickens, rice, potato salad, beans, mixed flour & corn tortillas and two types of salsa. In addition. I ordered 6 corn and flan dessert. By the time I made two phone calls my entire order was ready already packed in three bags included paper plates! What's really nice about this location also is they accept credits cards and the price is so reasonable. Everything was tasty and the corn are ginormous. One of the best Juan pollo restaurants I've been to the chicken was very tasty, crispy and most importantly juicy especially the white meat which sometimes can be dry. I don't eat beans put the rice and potato salad excellent. My only disappointment was the fact they were out of the corn on the cob. Should be better stocked. But those things happen I guess .
