Got the Spicy Chicken Galbi sandwich and it was thick and juicy asf. For the price??? MAJOR steal. Chicken tasted incredible and there was so much of it, wasnt as spicy as I wanted it to be but still loved it. Saw a video posted about the special sandwiches served at Jubilee and decided to give it a try. It was lunchtime so it was fairly busy. There was a short line for sandwiches but moved quickly. Wait time wasn't long to pick up either. Cashiers had short line and moved quickly. Bought the sandwich back home to eat and it held well. The pork belly is juicy, and the Ssam sauce and garlic really shine through and make it flavorful. For $10 it is reasonable and filling. Wish I had enough room to try other things but definitely would go back to get another of the same sando! read more

The flowers I purchased were not fresh. I bought them on Friday, and by Sunday they were already wilting. When I contacted the store, the clerk told me that flowers are non-refundable and blamed their condition on how I cared for them. I explained that they were only two days old and had been kept in water, so they should not have died so quickly. I was then transferred to the manager, who informed me that returns are only accepted within 24 hours of purchase. I find it unreasonable that flowers wouldn't last even a week, let alone just two days. No refund or replacement was offered, and I was simply told nothing could be done. It's been closed the last two weeks for renovations and I am counting the days when it will re-open. Granted, some of their packaged goods are pricier than other markets but some of their produce is the best, especially the avocados. Can't wait to get my hand on one. I was pleasantly surprised by their fish -- very fresh. As a one person household, I do not like to buy too much because fresh foods do go to waste. A great market with a large variety of frozen and cooked foods. They have amazing breakfast sandwiches that are prepared in front of you and taste delicious. The staff is always kind and welcoming. There is usually a line, but it goes by quickly. The breakfast sandwich costs less than $4 for a protein, veggie, and cheese on a roll. It's very affordable and very filling for $4. They also have foods such as salads, dishes over rice or noodles, and a buffet during their lunchtimes, but I can only speak on the breakfast sandwiches. read more

I take my kid in here once a week for a ring pop and I grab some groceries. Today he had to use the bathroom (he's 5) while I was shopping. I asked the person at the register if they had a bathroom he could use and they said, "I don't think so." Then when I got my groceries home there was an onion that was completely rotted out. I ordered take out and they have a great selection of cheap Korean foods. Although their foods actually do seem more like a Korean fusion, they still have some authentic things on their menu such as tofu soup. I ordered their jajjangmyun, tofu soup, fried boneless chicken bites and some Korean empanadas. They weren't outstanding but given their prices, it was definitely a satisfying meal. The jajjangmyun came with sauce on top rather than in a separate container so the noodles got soggy quick. The chicken bites had a lot of breading surrounding it and came with different sauces on the side. The empanadas were pretty cheesy inside but wasn't too crisp on the outside. Would recommend but not the best or most authentic Korean food you'll get. They do give sides (ban chan) too though so that's a bonus! read more

Unethical business. We ordered, and paid for, ten N95 masks to be delivered. Jubilee sent ten KN95 masks, which are lower quality than N95 masks and half the price. My husband called Jubilee to report the situation, and Jubilee hung up the phone. My husband called back and Jubilee refused to offer any remedy - falsely claiming that KN95 masks are better and telling my husband to raise his complaint to Mercado, the delivery platform through which we placed the order. OVERPRICED, RUDE, and a SECURITY GUARD THAT SEARCHES YOUR BAG! The only reason this place is in business is there are apartment complexes close by where people just stop and grab groceries. A rule that I have when coming here if I need one or two things is always check the price or expect a surprise total during checkout. For example, I once paid $8 for a small carton of strawberries, $9 for milk, $8 for Breyer's ice cream.... Also the cashiers are super rude. You could be having the best day of your life, but a min of interacting with them will turn that around. AND THE WORST, THE SECURITY GUARD THAT SEARCHES YOUR BAG! The first time that I went, I didn't know what he was saying and then he just grabbed my bag. This is TOTALLY ILLEGAL! He stares at everyone as if everyone stole from that place. He sometimes doesn't even ask to search your bag and just grabs it. He basically searches my bag if the bag is like the size of a tote bag or duffle bag every single time. I'm very tempted to say no because he has no probable cause to search me and if large bag was his only reason, then he has no right to search me. Do not shop here. Security here is a terrifying joke. One of the guards, about 5'10 asian man with the craziest unblinking stare, tried to extort me for $60 in cash and wasn't letting me leave store. He was extremely physically aggressive, grabbing my arms and shoulders, and attempted to take my phone. He was scaring the older woman cashiers, and smiled when he saw my body shaking from dread and anxiety. None of the other security guards intervened and was one of the most humiliating and terrifying experiences i've had in this city. Reading through similar reviews of people, mostly woman, dealing with aggressive security here, DO NOT SHOP HERE!! Expensive overpriced groceries, and a chance of being physically harassed and assaulted; something that has been documented to be a reoccurring issues at this store. I don't understand the lackluster reviews for Jubilee! I'm literally stunned. I've been coming here faithfully for ten years and till this day their food and prices are some of the absolute best for this area! You can get a BEC and coffee for $6! That's unheard of in these parts. The guys at the deli are super nice and deal with the morning chaos very well. I love the variety that they offer not just at lunchtime but breakfast too. They have a breakfast buffet, oatmeal bar, and fruit bar in addition to the deli and breakfast pastries. You can even buy a 6-7" cake for those last minute office birthdays for 20 bucks. Jubilee used to be my number one choice for breakfast and lunch when I worked in Lower Manhattan. They are angry for having to bag groceries when it's their job and have an attitude when you are spending almost 200.00 for their over priced items. Blueberries that cost 8.99 at other stores are 12.99 here. Yogurt that is 4.99 is 7.99. The milk I purchased the last four times has needed to be thrown out because it expired 11 days before the expiration date. The last bottle was a new bottle and was bad upon opening. I could forgive the inflated prices, but the lack of staff attentive to the customer's needs makes for a very frustrating experience; it's clear the staff has more importance things to do than answer annoying questions. If you are lucky enough to get an employee's attention, they rarely can offer you any help with navigating the store or trying to find someone who can. And the managers are rarely on the floor, so forget that. Another helpful touch: (not). The managers office is conveniently situated right by the exit, and his desk is facing the wall. So if you are lucky enough to locate it, it's on your way out, and then the challenge becomes how to get him to turn around and face you... On the positive side,The store is clean and well maintained and the checkout folk's are friendly, but I wish it were a more welcoming, easy to navigate environment. read more

Expired food, the Starbucks cold coffees are ALWAYS missing their plastic seal, the buffet has no sneeze guard and the meat handler cross contaminate the meats and never change their gloves. Gross! We were walking to the nearby Key Foods yesterday, planning to get take-out food from their hot food/salad bar - but meanwhile we noticed this place and couldn't resist going inside. Their food bar has a *terrific* selection, including several different types of sushi (the cost is the usual $8.99/pound). We were starved and ate some of the food there; they have several tables near the entrance (my only complaint is that it was *freezing*). All of the food tasted great. All of the employees were *very* friendly (the cashier, the people at one of the deli counters [where I requested water, which most places refuse to provide - and here they even gave us *large*-size cups] and a guy at another deli counter who I asked about food ingredients a few times [re: whether or not there was meat in them]). Also; the interior of this place is rather large, the selection is impressive, everything looked *great* (especially the produce) and it's all very clean & well-organized (and, unsurprisingly, pricey). read more

It's a small neighborhood grocery store so it's good for what it is. Why anyone would get sushi or salmon for lunch here is beyond me. At that point it's your expectations that are the problem.
