The vibe in the place is awesome , everyone is so welcoming and Hilary was such a pleasant person to hang with at the bar . They have funny signs everywhere and the complaint dept one was definitely my favorite . However the wings were absolutely way over fried and i had indigestion from it , way too heavy . Maybe it was just a poor choice for me . We will definitely go back next year when we are in the area and maybe try something else on the menu . P.S: the drink was great !!!! Tom X Pub is a family-owned pub and restaurant located on Tom X Road in East Stroudsburg. It's open Monday through Thursday from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM and Friday through Sunday from 11:30 AM to 9:00 PM. After exploring Bushkill Falls, my friend and I stopped by Tom X Pub to refuel. The cozy atmosphere made it easy to relax, and the food hit the spot. Our server, Margot, stood out for her friendly attitude and spot-on menu suggestions. I started with the award-winning chili, made with three kinds of beans and topped with cheddar Jack cheese. It was hearty and satisfying, though I expected a bit more depth of flavor and heat. Next, instead of ordering full entrées, we decided to share a few appetizers. We went with mozzarella sticks, mini pierogi, and jumbo chicken wings tossed in their signature Black Dragon sauce. The mozzarella sticks were pretty standard. The pierogi were tasty, though I could've done without the peppers. The wings were the clear standout, crispy, flavorful, and the one item I'd come back for. The Black Dragon sauce was especially good, a peppery teriyaki-style glaze that hit just the right balance of sweet and heat. We finished our meal with the brownie sundae, a sweet and satisfying way to end the evening. We come here often but this time the food was as good as in the past. We sat in an area off from the bar so it was quieter with no one else. Not sure if it was a racist thing or because we were a group of 7. Anyway, the shuffleboard table was close by and we could play while we waited a long time for service and food. I had the Smash special which was a small piece of overcooked meat in a much larger bread. Thank goodness there was a spear of pickle which I broke in half to stick in there for some moisture. There were plenty of fries which were good so for $10, it was not much to be expected. The only item that was complimented on was the Cheesesteak sandwich. read more

This place is a tad bit off the beaten path, the signs on the road made me look them up after we left the falls. I have to say the drinks and food are all reasonably price. First time here. Nice atmosphere. They have a large variety of bottle beers. We had a few blue moon and yuengling drafts. We got the nachos and the there was a lot of chili and it was a little spicy and very good.. there are 2 sizes Small and large. I had the cowboys cheesesteak with cheddar. It was good. My friend and I saw the signs for Tom X and were intrigued enough to make a stop (of course also after reading some of your Yelp reviews). We were happy with our meals. The place was understaffed on this Saturday lunchtime crowd with only two servers. One was happy and cheerful, the other was in a mood and a half that came through as curt and rude. When we got in, there was a large family top of at least 12 and a few other tables filled. The one side of the bar is tables and a single pool table, a large bar with seating, and on the other is like a dining room. My friend got an Octoberfest but the waitress came over to advise that the keg got killed mid-pour and she couldn't go downstairs to tap another as there were only the two of them available. He then chose a different beer, a cream ale, that he surprisingly liked. I had one of the Fall Special cocktails which was a spiked apple cider with caramel and sugar and probably what the bartenders call PITA drinks. But, it tasted yummy and sweet. For lunch, my buddy got a turkey burger which had cheddar and bacon and some kind of jam. He was not super impressed with it but it was good enough. I went with the All Jacked Up burger which was a little more medium rather than medium rare but I also liked it enough. Had pepper Jack cheese, lots of mushrooms, and whiskey onions. Both burgers came with a side and we both chose the Caesar salad. Nice size served on the salad plate with homemade bread croutons and some shred cheese. Dressing was not too heavy. So there was nothing exciting about Tom X Pub and the meal was just fine. It's a little out of the way to get to. $47 not including tip for a cocktail, beer, and two burgers. Although we split the check, if you use credit, they will charge an additional 3.99%. So I paid cash and my friend was charged that percentage on top of the amount he was paying. Went to Tom X pub for dinner, the employees were very nice and attentive. My wife and myself ordered the All jacked up burger, it was delicious! She ordered fries, which were very good. I got the potato wedges after the waitress recommended them and I'm so glad she did, they were phenomenal. Also my wife could not say enough good things about the French onion soup. read more

Thank you Hilary for suggesting the dessert! As if the lunch wasn't amazing enough the dark chocolate Baileys cake was one of the best desserts we have shared in a VERY long time. Other than the dessert the burgers were outstanding. Cooked to perfection, the side of potato wedges were flavorful and creamy with just the right amount of crunch on the outside. i bought wings the day before Easter Sunday the prices at first they said $8 for six wings then she said 12 Wings is worth $17 Change but the sauce is an extra charge and I asked her why is the sauce additional charged if I'm buying 12 Wings shouldn't it come with blue cheese and ranch she said no it's an extra surcharge for a blue cheese and ranch i thought at least one package come with blue cheese or ranch any additional pack is a surcharge so I said okay I'll buy the wings i Pacifically told her sauce on his side like three times Knowing she Understand the order and situation so when I got the wings thinking that she might understand what I said over the phone i went home and the wings were soaking in over 2 in of sauce celery scattered all over the the to go container And I asked for extra crispy Wings sauce on the side but the Blue cheese sauce was in the container that I paid additional for was smothered in Buffalo sauce. never again read more

But the short haired bartender lady kept turning off the jukebox when we were trying to play some music that wasn't dead. this was really irritating and we paid money for those songs. really am speechless at that audacity. I almost didn't leave a tip. I may not ever go back to be completely honest, which is sad because I live in the area. Protest their jukebox Please. I stumbled across this pub while out of town for work. When I arrived I parked in the private lot. I walked in and sat at the bar and Amanda was my bartender and she was nice. I started with the lemon drop martini and it wasn't bad. I then got the pinot nior and they both were on happy hour. For my meal I got the fish tacos. Stopped by for lunch after hiking. Our server, Hilary, went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The drinks were good - we ordered beer and the sangria. We got bar type food (chicken tenders, nachos, fish and chips) and everything was delicious. Food is great here if you can eat everything. They have gluten free items BUT do not cater to people with Celiac. We brought my son's family here because of the great food. My granddaughter, who has Celiac, was embarrassed and cried when the waitress informed her mother that outside food was not allowed. There was no sensitivity to the child or her parents. They did not know that this disease is considered a handicap and they need to accommodate this handicap. I suggested to the manager they keep up with the laws, paid the bill and left.
