Today I was very disappointed with their staff.. You need to instruct your staff toile sure their hair is pulled back so it doesn't land on a customers donuts like it today and teach them manners. This morning I stopped in for 2 dozen donuts and 2lbs of cookies to bring to a BBQ. Whenever I'm spending a holiday in Bayonne, I'm on line at this place with half the town, waiting for this place to shell out some of their donuts. I stopped in for my favorite Sprinkle Donuts and noticed they made some updates inside. The lighting is much brighter and it is cleaner inside. The taste is still on point. I noticed though that the donuts are smaller in size but price was the same... Hmm. But I am happy to know they made a simple change to attract more people coming in. I'm hoping they will have an espresso bar/cafe next with some tables outside. Business would help them a lot if they even need it. read more

Good Lord people come on give credit where credit is do! Judicke's has the very best crumb ring every - Lord the butter in that thing could kill Paula Dean and that women knows her butter. The decorations on the cupcakes are beyond magnificent but the taste is awful especially the minnie and mickey cupcakes the cookies in them are dry disgusting and the cake part isnt sweet its heavy thick and dense just the same as the other cupcakes I suppose its made with cake flour but they are really gross the prices are good though. read more

Yes, the donuts are smaller than the original ones we grew up with. And, yes, I even believe they do not taste quite the same as they used to however, what I can tell you is that my out of town friends and my family in Italy are all addicted to them. So I buy the sprinkle donuts for my friends and even fly with a couple of large boxes of them to Italy and they are loved. (Other products from the bakery I rarely buy so I cannot really comment.) read more

wow just scrolling through the reviews; thought i was the only one who got stale items. ordered from grub hub , judicke's uses them and what received was bricks. i see from the reviews, im not the only one. the quality of goods has slipped no doubt i only buy some buns, croissants and cupcakes, cakes are too pricey and go stale too fast cant order on line for buns, etc. they will not substitute. those of us who were life long customers because we live in Bayonne or jersey city see the decline. spoke to someone named Nora, said she was the owner, a real y poor spokeswoman and needs a course in customer relations., screamed at me when i asked for substitutions . online judickesonly has donuts, limited menu, i asked for substitution of donuts for buns, croissants, they said no. unfortunate !!!!!! read more

I'be been coming to Judicke's since I was a kid. I make a special trip for the donuts,sprinkle cookies and brownies. Whenever I see the cupcakes it brings me back to my birthday parties as a kid when I'd always have cupcakes with a special character. They're also not as expensive as other cupcakes places. read more

Stop in here when we are in the area or during the holidays. In November ordered my daughter's Holy Confirmation cake and it was delicious!! So fresh! She wanted raspberries inside and I asked for the frosting to be done in all roses, all white- amazing job! Two words.... Rainbow Cookies. It is hard to find a place that makes good Rainbow Cookies, but this place does. I've been hooked on the cookies since the mid 80's, so I know a good Rainbow Cookie when I taste it. I mainly go there to get my cookie fix, but my mom loves their mini cheesecakes and biscotti. The bakery was sold last year and has gone down hill since then....while their prices have gone up. Their 'famous' sprinkled butter cookies cost $18.99 per pound. They must have changed to lower quality ingredients because they don't taste the same, are thinner, and some of the ones we bought just fell apart. The chocolate was just not chocolaty. The donuts are smaller and tough. Much of the freezer section was empty and so were some of the fresh displays. The price and the quality: never again Judicke's. read more

LOVE this place. When by brother lived in Bayonne I would make a pilgramige to the bakery every time, as well as the Dominican Restaurant down the block! The wall to wall pastries, the donuts, the cupcakes shaped like Elmo, Mario, etc. I always come out with a big bag of good stuff and it is so cheap. The first time when they told me the price I couldn't believe it, I thought they made a mistake and didn't charge! It is my happy place. I even asked my brother to go inside and take a picture so I can blow it up as big a possible. If this place ever closes, I think all of Bayonne will rally and buy in to keep it open like the Hostess cakes. read more

Even though I think it's worth a try, I don't go as often as I would like because on a few occasions the girls that work there have been super rude.
