Let me start off by saying I'm a regular when it comes to services. I've NEVER had a bad service, I've always left satisfied. Katie and her staff are incredibly professional and they're always great about scheduling. When they know they're busy they'll have me book in advance so I can get all of my appointments in. And if they need to reschedule due to a conflict they always give plenty of notice. The Spa itself is very cozy and clean. Heated beds?!?! A revelation. Breath mints for when you chugged coffee on the way into your appointment?! I'm here for it. I love the convenient location and availability of parking - coming from L.A. those are luxuries. The services - I love the sensitive soothing facial! I've fallen asleep with the jelly mask on, I'm not ashamed. It was that relaxing. My husband and I both did a round of peels this past winter and his acne is basically gone, and my maskne dark spots have faded almost entirely. I also want to note that the electrology pricing is very fair! The selection of products is really good! I love Eminence and have been using that brand for a while, but I also love that they carry result driven product lines like PCA. They never get pushy with products but they'll make recommendations based off your skin concerns, and honestly who doesn't love professional skin care advice?! And beyond the stamp, it was the willingness to compromise principle over something so small. If integrity is negotiable over something this small, what else is? Not worth going back. Update: The guy called back and apologized, which in itself shows integrity. We're all human and not immune to mistakes. That goes a long way. The issue was never really about the stamps, but the principle and integrity behind it. The fact that he took the time to call and apologize redeemed that for me. Because of that, I do plan to go back again.

I booked an appt for Saturday morning right as they open. I was very excited. The place actually looked nice and seemed clean, but the tech was horrible. I believe her name was Sena (or Senna). She was rude, rough, heavy-handed, and rushed, scolded me for moving or not moving my thumb, for not knowing the terms for different nail shapes, etc. She kept grunting the entire time and did not listen to what I was asking or requesting. I adore Lily (the owner), Daniela, Dulce, and the rest of the beauty specialists and staff members who work there. Also, the work that they do there is so professional and, quite frankly, the results are completely phenomenal (and better than at ANY other spa I have EVER been to, including for eyebrow services (wax, shape and tint, & lamination) and eyelashes (including lash extensions and also eyelash "lift, curl and tint," which is MY personal favorite service for my eyelashes b/c Lily and Daniela make my eyelashes look long, dark like my hair, and simply stunning for up to 3 months, during which time I don't need to do anything to take care of them!) And don't even get me started on the FACIALS by DULCE and the MAKE-UP TATTOOING by LILY! Firstly, the facials are the best ones Mom and I have ever had. The "platinum facial" is my favorite. It is a hydrofacial with lymphatic drainage--it cleans the skin extremely deeply ( removing all dead skin), hydrates more than you could ever get with a regular facial, and includes a soft/gentle chemical peel to brighten the skin and remove dark spots. And best of all, this facial removes puffiness and swelling from the face! I could not believe how much less swollen my face was (after only the FIRST Platinum Facial with Dulce). First Lash also offers "express facials" if you're in a hurry, and yesterday I had a dermaplaning facial, which was wonderful! I looked and felt like a completely different woman than the one who had arrived at First Lash earlier that day. Lily did my eyebrows yesterday as usual. I had a "wax, shape and tint," AND Lily also did my eyelashes for me (a "lift, curl, and tint") & she did an absolutely INCREDIBLE JOB. And her room is such a beautiful and comfy space. She even covered me up with a cozy blanket when she saw that I was feeling cold. She notices every last detail and that makes each person's experience tailored, personalized, and customized based on his/her needs. This is not a "one-size-fits-all" place-- the OPPOSITE. You will feel special from the moment you walk through the doors at First Lash & Brows. Guaranteed. I won't let anyone else touch my eyebrows except for Lily! Dulce does my Mom's eyebrows, and she loves the way Dulce does her eyebrows. You have the flexibility as a customer of having the person you want doing your services! And Daniela does my eyelashes beautifully too, just like Lily does! You cannot go wrong with ANY of the specialists who work at First Lash, actually. They are so well-trained and so excellent at what they do. Lily, the owner, has also spent so much time and energy making First Lash & Brow an oasis of peace, care, and comfort. Lily helped me to choose the right color for my skin tone, and to this day (3 years later), when I wake up in the morning my lips have that gorgeous natural pinkish color that makes me look (along with my eyeliner!) awake and "ready to go"-- even before I get out of bed to wash my face! I did not do the tattoo-ing on my lips and eye-liner until I was 46 years old, and I wish I had done it sooner. It makes me look younger and more beautiful than ever. All of the services that First Lash provide are done so very professionally and to perfection. And since so few things in life are perfect, it amazes me at how "perfect" Lily (the owner) and her staff, especially Daniele and Dulce, make their customers LOOK and FEEL when they leave their doors to come home. I feel like a princess after my various treatments there! First Lash & Brows has a gorgeous waiting room, too! My husband commented on that just yesterday. They have water bottles, soda, etc. in the fridge, and snacks for you to nibble on, too, should you suddenly have a craving for that! First Lash & Brows also does men's facials. My husband James has had one with Dulce and loved it. In fact, he wants to have a facial again the next time we go there (in March!) Once you start going there for all of your skin care needs, you will never want to go anywhere else. Lily and her staff are extremely knowledgeable about skin care and sell various products there as well. If you do need a massage, I recommend Talita, especially because I haven't had massages from any other staff. - Customer service. This place has very good customer service and appears to be more attentive to their customers' needs and issues. Had the pressure of Talita's massage been a bit better, more focused, and more in tune with the knots and tension in my body, I would give this place a 4, maybe 5-star rating. Coming across a business, where management individually follow up with customers is not common and a business quality I very much appreciate. It shows a care and understanding that not many businesses have, which is why I wish I could give them a higher rating. What's Not - Quality. Unfortunately, I still had some tension and knots when I left the 30 minute massage. To be fair, Talita didn't give me a bad massage, but I've had better. I definitely appreciate it when a masseuse asks about my problem areas, and then use that feedback to focus during the massage. The treatments/services I've used at the spa include: ~Waxing: They do the BEST eyebrow shaping. My brows always look perfect after leaving the spa. I actually get complimented on my brows all the time! ~Swedish massage: Excellent massages, especially if you need help with a target area that is sore. My issue was with my back. I always felt so much better after getting a massage and they even introduced me to a product called China Gel which is a miracle cream for sore muscles! ~Facials: I have *very* sensitive skin and have had bad reactions to facials at other spa/salons. Their GM Collin line doesn't irritate my skin. ~Manicure/Pedicure: They offer a wide range of mani/pedi options which I love because I can choose if I want to get really pampered with a spa pedi w/all the extras, or if I want just a quick touch up.
