Definitely a fan! I thought it would be all hype because Uncle Tommy is the Owner and has a huge backing on Social Media but besides that, but we actually really enjoyed our first visit! We loved the matcha ( I wish we had gotten the large) it was ceremonial grade with just the right about of sweetness and the oatmilk was so creamy. It really was wonderful. I forced my Husband to get something even though we had just eaten lunch at Totoya. The Staff had recommended "Happiness" and it had to have been one of the best pressed juice I've tried. You could really taste the quality of the ingredients and it just really paired together perfectly. I also thought it was very kind of them to offer my Husband a cup of ice seeing as they just made it so it wasn't too cold and the humidity outside has been insane lately. Price point was a little over $30 for 2matcha, 1 juice, and some tip. I believe it's average range. They also do share parking but to me the lot is small considering the other businesses in the area so it may be beneficial to find street parking or walk over from Ala Moana like we did. They really have theeeee BEST fresh pressed juices in our humble opinion my daughter tried the matcha and gave it a A+, we sampled the li bing apple and it was very tasty but I am on a health journey so staying clear of li hing. Came across this Juice shop next door to Tanto Ramen, and realize I saw an IG reel a while back, while it was still in construction. It was the wall that attracted me to go in which has notable characters, like Super Mario, Goku, and Pikachu. They offer juices, matcha, acai bowl and I believe Lihing apple slices, which I still have yet to try, including their açaí bowl. I remember doing juice cleanses when I was living in California and despite it being healthy, I was never a fan, not until I got reintroduced to Jugo's green juice. Let me tell you, it wasn't harsh or bad tasting, it was actually good and refreshing. If you're trying to be healthy or get some nutrients, you don't have to punish yourself and sacrifice taste to do so, and Jugo Life does NOT do that! I finally found Jugo Life! I first tried Jugo Life at a Yelp's Passport to SALT at our Kaka'ako last year. At the Yelp event, I had tried a number of the juices and enjoyed most of the menu offered. All Star Yelp Elite Buddies Terry K. and Irene M. met for lunch at Tanto Gyoza & Ramen. While walking around, as TGR was not open yet, I stumbled upon Jugo Life. I walked in and Jordan greeted me right away with a friendly smile and a welcome. Jordan quickly offered samples of any of the freshly made juices. He confirmed they were at the Yelp event. I tried the top three favorites: Greatness, Love and Happiness. I also braved tasting the Wellness Shot. See photo for ingredients. I enjoyed Love and Happiness. Greatness has a strong cucumber and celery taste. I'm also not a great fan of kale. I tried a sip of the Wellness Shot and WHOA! It definitely packs an intense flavor punch! 10/5 lingering flavor blast! I did pick up a Wellness shot and chased it down with the Love juice. Jugo Life has a new location on Waimnu Street right across from Ala Moana Center and love this new location as they do have parking so grabbing some fresh juice is as easy as it's fresh made. I did come here a coupe of times the first with Yelp friend Nadine but as we was heading for dinner I decided to to just grab a juice which they do offer you sample of any flavor which I have tried a few in the past event they were at I decided on Peace as it has Carrots, Apple, Orange and Ginger it was such a delightful and smooth sip that I enjoyed. Love the staff there as they're so friendly and helpful and i held back on my review since I was returning to give their matcha a try as I understand they worked hard to get it right to their standards using matcha from Japan sweetens naturally I got the large and it didn't disappoint so nice and smooth whisked and made right as you order was impressive and appreciated. I know this place is mainly known for their pressed juices, but lemme tell you something... their iced matcha latte is NEXT LEVEL! I've never tasted a matcha latte on Oahu that is very similar to the matcha I've had in Japan. It has a sort of bitter and smooth taste that you'd get with high quality matcha. Jugo Life is easy to miss in the little commercial stretch by Ala Moana, in the same area as HANGANG, which feels about right for a small one-off juice shop rather than a place trying too hard to be seen. They are known for cold-pressed juices, and that is clearly the center of gravity here rather than an afterthought on a broad menu I got the Love juice, with watermelon, pineapple, strawberry, fennel, and lemon. It was good, but it did not quite justify the $9 price before tax and tip. For the quality, it really did not strike me as materially different from Lanikai Juice. The person working there landed in that narrow band between unfriendly and merely intimidating, which is not a dealbreaker, but it does register when the whole transaction is a single juice. Still, I liked the place more than I expected. The interior has custom-drawn anime artwork, and the whole operation has that hole-in-the-wall, local-business feeling that makes it easier to forgive some rough edges. I just found my favorite juice and matcha place on the island. I had the Greatness flavor and my wife had a Matcha Latte. You can tell the juice is pressed that day. It was very tasty and gave my body a pep start. The Matcha Latte had a nice smooth texture and the matcha flavor was not diluted like some places we tried. I love that it's made fresh right here on Oahu, and what you see on the label is exactly what's in the bottle--nothing else.
