    BAD ALLERGEN MISTAKE ON LABEL!
    Nicole M.

Huge problem. Look at the picture I posted called "bad allergen mistake." Under allergens it says "almonds, eggs". However, in the ingredients it says "sour cream" which contains milk. Also, in this banana bread, there are chocolate chips. I am allergic to dairy and missed this mistake after taking a bite and realizing this. This place needs to be extremely careful when labeling. Very upset as I called 3 times after getting home and no one picks up the phone. I will never return again.

I ordered a juice with pineapple, lemon, ginger, and kale. I asked for a juice and he gave me a half juice half smoothie concoction. I didn't feel like going to another juice spot so I just took it and didn't tip. I regret that. The kale is old. It has a real funky taste to it. Hardly no pineapple if any. I'm really upset because I ordered the largest size and it's gross.

If I'm going to be honest, I came here strictly because of their name and because me and my boyfriend were both craving a smoothie. Great little spot with a decent amount of selections. Service was a little slow despite us being the only customers at the time and the place was a little cramped but we both enjoyed our drinks.

So I tried to be SUPER healthy and got the High Test which contains their famous Green Light. It was WAY too healthy for me. I think for cleansing juice heads its probably GREAT but for me their was WAYYY too much going on. The parsley was wayyyy too overpowering. I tried my husband's Monkey Business smoothy and it was DELICIOUS. The consistency was perfect and I think it's all about the yogurt and almond milk. I will definitely be back for something that doesn't contain parsley.

They did not disappoint! My son ordered baby goat curry & enjoyed every bite! We also ordered Bandar Butter Chicken and Tandoori Pomfret. The butter chicken was better than I expected, I'm not usually a fan, but this was excellent! Flavorful and not overly creamy. My favorite dish of the night was the Tandoori Pomfret, it was divine! Cooked to perfection and a decadent curry base. The staff was incredibly helpful. We worked with the Manager, Pankaj, who went over the entire menu and helped us decide on a safe dish for my son. He then confirmed our choice with the kitchen before placing the order. Pankaj checked on us multiple times to ensure we were enjoying our dinner, the extra care was greatly appreciated. Thank you Four Monkeys for a delicious, safe dining experience! We can't wait to return & we're already planning our visit to your sister restaurant, Dhamaal, in Montclair. Thank you!

Flavor bomb burrata was amazing - on top of a naan, tomatoes and green garlic chimichurri with a fresh burrata and what was like a very sweet spicy honey on top - delicious. Sadly they were out of the truffle chicken masala. We opted for the butter chicken - also delicious and rich. Palak paneer - always nice to see the spinach version. Very good. Both were great with the garlic and butter naans... sopped up with the naan or rice, delicious. The 'Rarha' Lamb Chops were ok, overcooked until the bone crumbled so a bit hard to pick up, cutting it was a bit tough, and the mustard-tumeric potatoes were very good but heavy. BYOB. Menu completely online and somewhat hard to see -- bring a big phone. Street or muni lot parking. Servers were pleasant but often busy cleaning up - a bit of dropping things all night - customers knocked over their lights, dishes fell, glasses broke - I felt like it was a Jewish wedding with all the wares falling on the floor mid-way through dinner. Portions are solid and they also gave to-go bags for the leftover naan and boxes for the leftover dishes.

Vegetarians: Rejoice- no fish sauce/oil used in any curries or dishes aside from Pad Thai. Even that can be prepared without. We had our pickings off the lunch menu - which had a variety of dishes where you pick your protein which included tofu and mock duck. Each item comes with soup or salad and a spring roll. Massaman Curry with tofu, Green curry with mock duck and Basil thai fried rice with no egg. Salads were fresh with a peanut dressing. Spring rolls were hot and crispy with little to no oil. The green curry was spicy the way my wife prefers and the massaman curry was full of tofu, crinkle-cut carrots and potatoes. Large portions, lovely atmosphere and very helpful and polite staff. They have boba teas as well- which I plan on trying next time.

I went with my standard go-tos: Eggplant basil with tofu Tom yum soup with tofu Papaya salad Generous portions, lots of veggies, lots of flavor, enough spice to clear out my nose. I was thoroughly impressed. I'll be back.

A glorious fever dream! Tapas galore! No full bar? Who cares? Four flavors of Sangria (red, white,…read moreblue w/Curaçao, passionfruit- naturally delicious!) and wine. With a google same day reservation, I rolled in with my little family of four and my mother-in-law. Gabriella, the chef's wife, treated us like family and every dish tasted like a hug. Highlights were the zesty Peruvian Ceviche (save bread for the sauce), tasty Steak Yucca Fries, and Berenjena con Miel - eggplant drizzled with honey and goat cheese. The Calamari was crispy and delicious even without the tentacles. Dessert was a victory lap with a smooth and creamy Flan, perfectly crunchy Churros, and Lemon Sorbet that looked like Olaf doing hot yoga. Then came free homemade limoncello to end the meal. It was bright, balanced, and dangerously good! We waddled out with joy! NOTES/TIPS: **Great solo, dates, friends, family. **Huge menu w/several vegetarian options and kids menu. **Wine and sangria available. **Gendered restrooms. Wheelchair-accessible. Indoor/outdoor seating. Warm modern vibes. **For 3 adults and 2 kids with their spaghetti and meatballs, 7 small plates left us very full. **Street parking if you're lucky, parking decks nearby. **Reservations recommended.

Service was top-notch, folks came back to help us pack up extras and also check on us multiple times. Stopped in on a hot day, tried a bunch: Pitcher of white sangria was a lovely cool sip, just about right for four of us per pitcher. Tapas/apps: - Special baked oyster fondue was only ok (reminded me of Oyster Rockefeller but not as flavorful and the cheese was mostly on the plate, not on the oyster); they had 3 on the plate and they noticed and had them make up a 4th for the 4th person at the table. Great service for that notice and sending a fourth one out - good touch. - Papas bravos was a good fingerling potato in a creme - Grilled octopus was ok - Peruvian ceviche was a touch too sour for me, but others liked it - had another potato dish but wasn't sure what it was called; just ok Mains, also shared: - Short ribs rigatoni was good, but not as good as the one at Ferraro's that I had earlier in the month - Seafood paella - not sure if this is a regional difference, but I'm used to having the crispy rice along the outside of the pan, crunch and savory -- the inside rice and shrimp, sausage and clams were ok, but missing the texture expected of a hot pan of paella rice, so left feeling like I missed out of something Dessert - churros were solid, with dulce de leche - lava cake was ok, not much melting (more like a little chocolate melted in the center but not enough to ooze out), but the chocolate cake was good, and the vanilla ice cream to the top always a good touch - they had a special fruit mix in a pastry shell - good fruit mix and the ice cream below was good - pastry was just ok, maybe needed something more like a napoleon's layers instead of being like a fried skin which ended up being a bit stuck in the teeth Overall great service, a mix of dishes that sometimes hit the mark and others missed, but will come here to try some other dishes that people at the table next to us ordered - the steak looked good, as did the fish!

So he falsely posted on Yelp he had refunded me. So what, huh? So I had to get the Better Business Bureau involved. Who cares, right? Now that they forced him to pay, I care less. But I had gone here hoping all the hype about the nice guy host true. However, personally seeing him repeatedly screaming at his staff was the stake through heart of the self-promoted image of the nicest restaurant host. Apparently an act. Everyone has a rough day time to time, tempers flare for us all: we are human. But from the repeated tirades I witnessed well within view and earshot of other patrons on April 11, 2026, I do not believe the outbursts were isolated incidents. So if you ever go, if you see something, post something. Never in a lifetime of patronizing peaceful pleasant Indian eateries have I ever seen such abusive treatment of staff. Anger and bullying have no home in Indian restaurants or anywhere.
