It was both decadent and healthy and the ingredients used were very premium and high quality. I love how it's not too sweet. I've made several trips to this location as a post-workout pick-me-up. I like the Muscle Builder (blueberries, banana, almond milk, almond butter, and plant-based protein) and the Flax Power (Amazonian açaí, flax powder, coconut water, banana, maca, cinnamon, and plant-based protein) smoothies the most. The Wake Me Up with dates and coffee is also pretty good. The drinks are excellent, but the service can be real hit or miss. There's been improvement since it seems they've added more folks to their team, but a couple of times I've gone in, there's no acknowledgment of customers at the till. I get it if you're busy and making drinks and working the till, but you have to at least acknowledge folks who walk in and say hello, and that you'll be them in a moment or something. I'm glad they've added more folks to the team, because it can be a lot to man a till and also handle the drinks on your own. The interior is nice, and clean, and there's some seating outside, but doesn't seem like a place people come to hangout at - just order, grab, and go! Juice Crafters Encino - A Huge Disappointment :( I have been a loyal customer of Juice Crafters Encino for several years now, but my recent experiences have left me incredibly disappointed, frustrated, and upset. The quality of their products has seriously declined over the years, and it's disheartening to see a place I once loved become such a letdown. Firstly, the portions have noticeably shrunk, and the flavors are now more bland and flavorless than ever. It feels like they are cutting corners and compromising on quality, which is unacceptable for a place that charges premium prices. This decline in quality is not just noticeable but glaringly obvious. My recent visit was the tipping point. I ordered acai bowls, which used to be a treat, but what I received looked like it was made by a child. The presentation was sloppy, and to make matters worse, several items we paid for were missing. This level of carelessness is inexcusable. If I am paying a premium, I expect to receive what I ordered, and I expect it to be made with care and attention to detail. To add insult to injury, we also paid for alkaline water and were given regular water without any notification. This might seem like a small issue, but it speaks volumes about the lack of attention and care put into their service. Customers should not have to double-check their orders for basic items, especially when the staff should be responsible for ensuring accuracy. When we called the store to notify them of these issues, we were told that a manager wouldn't be in for another day. We left our information, expecting a call back when the manager was available, but two days later, we have heard nothing. This complete lack of follow-up and customer service is infuriating. It's one thing to make mistakes, but not addressing them or showing any effort to rectify the situation is simply unacceptable. What makes this experience even more disappointing is the false sense of family and community they claim to promote when you visit the store. They emphasize being a family business and even force you to tip when checking out, yet they don't treat you like family or show any genuine care for their business or their customers. I am writing this review with the hope that management will take these issues seriously and make the necessary changes. Their straws are always broken. Every time. I appreciate the effort for biodegradable straws. But it's useless if I can't drink with them. It's happened 8 times in a row. Really impressed by how Management takes feedback and works with customers. The smoothies and juices are among the best in the south land, and while the staff ranges from new hires who are relatively inexperienced and uneducated in the ingredients they're working with, they also have managers who are deeply experienced and knowledgeable about the benefits of all the different ingredients. If you have a specific question that has to do with the effectiveness or reality behind what certain ingredients will do in a smoothie - definitely ask for one of the more seasoned managers or you can call corporate. The three stars instead of five or just because of a number of issues that happened with an order I consistently get, and I'm consistently getting it wrong with new trainees. But it seems like we finally figured out how to improve the communication so that moving forward I will get the smoothie with the ingredients I order. For anybody else ordering off the menu, cannot recommend this place highly enough in terms of value, taste, and quality. Thank You. read more

It's expensive to feel healthy! My only qualm was that I expected the consistency to be icy and thick. Rather, it was simultaneously creamy and watery and more like a thickened juice. I LOVE this place! I worked at a smoothie shop for 6 years, and I know all the secrets, and Juice Crafters is the real deal! Their smoothies are not made with processed, frozen fruits like a lot of other smoothie shops. The fruits and greens are so fresh! My husband and I go here each time we are about to get sick and we are cured almost instantly! We always get the "flu shot" they sale at the counter when we have a bad cold, and it does wonders! My favorite thing on their menu is the acai bowls. They give you a fulfilling portion size so you are actually satisfied and not searching for a Luna bar around the house shortly after. It would be nice if they put a little more granola or nuts on top. I think the serving size with the nuts/granola on the acai bowl is a bit small, but besides that wonderful product! I gave them 4 stars because I only wish the employees were a little more cheerful. I understand the area is a high stress place, parking can be a nightmare if you can't find a meter, but a smile goes along way. Then again, maybe that's just LA.
