Juice crafters is a laidback smoothie place in Santa Monica that I've always wanted to try. I stopped by on a Sunday afternoon and there was virtually no wait. There's some chairs out front and the vibe is very calm and nice. I ordered from the juice bar instead of the kiosk since it was in use and I didn't want to wait. The barista took my order: Green Soul smoothie. It was delicious. A bit pricey, but the taste and quality of what you pay for speaks for itself. Street parking was surprisingly easy to find too. The muscle builder protein smoothie is my go to favorite.. the stafff here is great!! the drinks we order here are consistently filling and delicious . I'm writing this review to give a special shout out to the employee late this afternoon -I think his name is Anthony? Anyway, it looked like he was holding down the Fort alone today- ringing people up AND making the drinks! It was impressed by his sense of calm amidst what must've felt stressful especially when I dropped my whole drink on the floor -he had people to ring up and drinks to make. He prioritized safety by getting the mop and bringing it out front so no one would slip, and after he served the other people that were waiting, he remade the drink for me which was very kind! The smoothie was expensive but so watery. And I got a wheatgrass shot but they forgot it at first and then when I asked for it didn't say sorry and just put it on the counter and I didn't realize it was packaged not fresh. For the cost should have been fresh. Also the main ingredient listed was WATER. Not what the shot was advertised as. read more

I've been coming to Juice Crafters for years, and I absolutely love their smoothies! Their juices and smoothies are consistently delicious, and I appreciate that everything is 100% vegan. While they are on the pricier side, I allow myself the indulgence because, hey, I'm grown and deserve it! My favorite ones are the "Muscle Builder," " Chunky Monkey". and the "Wake me up!". They have such a great variety that there's always something new to try. I love the cozy outdoor seating with the bright yellow chairs. Parking: Street parking by the meters. read more

Went in this morning for a healthy breakfast, ended up getting a Dragon Fruit bowl, which in my opinion was not tasty at all. It looked great but the base (dragon fruit) ruined it. It taste like plain dragon fruit, which is ALMOST tasteless with some kind of sweetener, so virtually sweet water. Not what I really wanted for breakfast. The service was nice and quick but based on food I would not recommend, maybe their juices are better? read more

I'm usually really picky with my acai bowls, especially if it's not a build your bowl place, but I love Juice Crafters! It's really convenient since I work nearby so if I need a protein smoothie/bowl before I head into work, I usually stop by. The staff there are all super nice and they're quick with the orders! Parking can get a little busy as it's street parking only, but that's expected of Santa Monica/LA! read more

Came with a group and we ordered 4 varieties of açaí bowls. Nice, simple ambiance inside. I loved the huge amethyst crystals on display on the counter and display table. We sat outside and waited for our orders at the picnic tables. For the price of $13-$15/bowl, I'd expected larger bowls, then realized everything is higher nowadays. I had the one with kale and expected to see a hint of green, but there was none. Figured it was pureed into the acai. Nothing to write home about, but still refreshing on a sunny day. I ordered the large size of the Fountain of Youth smoothie, which the sign said included blueberries and strawberries and a bunch of other fruits. About $13. Imagine my surprise when I took a sip and it tasted like chocolate! Turns out that I missed the fact that they add cocoa to it as well. I was really disappointed because I wanted a fruity smoothie, but I tried to drink it anyways. However, it turned out to be way too sweet and the chocolate overpowered all the fruit. Kind of a pain to find metered street parking. Counter area inside available to sit and sip or a couple of tables available right outside. The staff is very cool and helpful. Takes a while to get your order though, in case you're in a rush. Their smoothies are very tasty and I find myself going through phases where I have to get my fix continuously. Not cheap though. You're looking at about $12+ per drink. Bought myself a Vitamix after spending soo much money at juice crafters, but somehow, it's just not the same. read more

Honestly, I liked this spot! I got the açaí bowl and my friend got the dragonfruit bowl. I liked both a lot. It's perfect cus we went right after going to the gym and had this to fill our stomachs after. Came here after yoga in the park (so Santa Monica LOL) with my daughter. I got a smoothie & she got an açaí bowl. Both were yummy. The bowl was HUGE & tons of fresh toppings. I am happy that I stumbled upon this place. I've seen people with Juice Crafters smoothies walking around town for a while and have been wanting to see what they're all about. When I walked into Juice Crafters late yesterday afternoon, I had every intention of getting an açaí bowl and am glad that I did. Their açaí bowls have a unique and fresh taste. I love the almond granola that they add on top! Overall, it was extremely flavorful and fresh. It gave me the fuel I needed before my cycling class. The service was great. Juice Crafters is on a section of Ocean Park that has some interesting restaurants and art gallery. The interior is stocked with various healthy goodies to choose from as well as a good selection of juices. I was intending to wander the boulevard so I ordered a blend of juices and some peanut butter bites to go. The bites were dense and very peanutty and the juice fit the bill. read more

I have tried time and time again to like this location since it is close to my house, but I simply cannot take this anymore. The employees at this location consistently mess up my online orders, including wrong or missing items. Today is the last day I go to this location. I ordered a bowl and to my surprise they messed up my order, again. I tried calling this location and the young man working there kept hanging up immediately. I am sick and tired of these lazy employees and for 45 dollars for three items, this is completely inexcusable. I highly consider training your employees since most Juice Crafters I go to run very poorly. Sun Life would never!!! Goodbye forever Juice Crafters. read more

Got a classic acai bowl and it was okay. The bowl is a wide fit, presumably to put all the toppings, but it kind of makes it look like they skimped out on the acai. It's a shame because I'm here for the acai - not the toppings. Unfortunately, the acai here isn't anything special, which sucks because I paid $10 for it. Overall, it's fine. Service was fine too; I came during a moment of no customers yet, so my order was made very quickly (thankfully! As soon as I walked out there were 3 customers walking in and there was only 1 guy out front making everything). Glad I tried it and got the experience though. read more

Smoothies are good, not the most flavorful for the price but healthy. Parking is definitely tough depending on the time. I tried calling into order but no one answered, maybe because of the loud music playing inside. Only other concern is I ordered one of the smoothies with cacao nibs and there were several very hard (inedible) chunks in my smoothie. I tried cutting one piece with a knife to see if it was soft enough to chew but couldn't cut all the way through, not even sure if it was cacao. read more

Definitely the best I have had in LA! The order is consistent time after time unlike some places where it's not quiet the same as the last time you were there. I always splurge on the protein bowl bc it's delicious and it could be 2 servings (I usually inhale the whole thing) and it really keeps you full! Order a Malibu dream and it was over blended I asked if was possible ti make it thicker ..... I don't know what they did to it when it was given back to me it was the same thing so liquidy with no taste you can hardly taste anything never coming back here to pay $11 and some cents for a smoothie tasting like shit. Placed an order on Doordash but the app didn't allow me to make all the adjustments I needed. I called the store immediately, and spoke to a young woman. Explained to her I just placed doordash order and didn't give me option to remove granola which I can't have due to current health issues. Asked to ensure that there would be no granola and replace with blueberries. Juice Crafters is my favorite juice spot! It is a cute little shop front on Ocean Park. They always have samples of different smoothies out for you to try. I come here a lot and love everything I've gotten here. I usually get one of their superfood smoothies(which you can get one of two sizes), the pressed green juice, or their ginger shots. They are served so cute in a shot glass with a strawberry and little umbrella! I also get their acai bowl from time to time. It is kind of pricey but it is the biggest açai bowl I've ever seen! Juice Crafters is my favorite juice spot ever! Mostly because of the smoothies. They are SO good and taste super healthy. They also have brochures with lists of a bunch of super foods they use and the benefits of each ingredient! Great idea. Randomly stopped by before going on a hike, the 2 staff members were friendly and polite esp. as I was on the phone w a friend asking what smoothie she wanted. I got a green smoothie that also had some fruit in it (forget the name) the staff was very helpful in finding me a smoothie with what I described. My 3 friends also loved their smoothies. Staff also asked if I wanted to try a complimentary shot with lemon and ginger in it which was very nice, the shot was actually really good! It has very healthy but potent tasting ingredients but was made cold to make it more bearable. They also have booklets on the benefits of the fruits, vegetables and other things they add which is very informative. I'd definitely try another juice crafters! read more
