Love Love Love! Yes, it is pricey. Yes, it makes you feel flippin' fantastic! Yes, you will be hooked to cold pressed juice. There is NOTHING like it. If I could afford my own incredible cold press, I'd buy one....this place changed cold pressed drinks for me. I never walk out w/out spending $20. Ha! I always start with a lemon ginger cayenne shot. If you need to feel electrified, need a dose of energy, need to fight off a sickness, or, if you want to just feel good, do a ginger shot. The apple ginger shot is delish too but, the lemon shot, just hits ya. I can actually feel my capillaries open in my skin when I shoot the LGC. LOVE! LOVE! Many times, when you walk in, there are samples of some of the smoothies on the counter. It's my fave way to try the menu w/out paying for it. Honestly, I've tried almost all the smoothies, so it really depends what you are in the mood for, or what your needs are. I usually go in around breakfast time, so order the Pacific Love to supplement as my meal most often, that's my fave. I also am a huge fan of the Chunky Monkey. Yummmmm!! Late afternoon, I'll stick to lighter drinks that are not meal replacement, like the - Charcoal Lemonade *YUMMMMM*, fresh watermelon mint, ooh, the Venice Cove is delightful, U like Em was the 1st smoothie I ever had at Juice Crafters. Depending on who you get, staff isn't overtly friendly, but can warm up. I've had some really helpful, friendly, & accommodating employees; I've also had staff that have grunted. Literally. Their takeout fridge is great too. I've had some of the most delicious raw food from that counter. The raw cinnamon roll....holy hana that is devine. Thanks for providing incredible products! For a lack of better words, it was aiiiightt. Pretty pricy for what it was. I got the 16 oz Slim N' Fit (strawberries, coconut h20, liquid light, pineapple and cayenne pepper) and it was a whopping $7.99. It was pretty refreshing but it only lasted me about 5 minutes. I heard the Green Soul was good here but I'm not really trying to spend $9.99 on a 16 oz. It's a $1 extra for a 20 oz. Unfortunately, it didn't blow me away for me to want to come back. read more

Friendly and helpful staff.. Drinks are delicious! Inside the store it is very clean and orderly. My reason for not giving Juice Crafters five stars is..in order for recurring customers to receive $10 off they must first spend $200!? I could understand the first $100 BUT $200? For customers who want to leave tips, yet may feel ambivalent? In my humble opinion, it's perhaps, reason being prices are slightly steep and there is not much of an incentive. Super quick spot with yummy and fresh ingredients. A bit over priced but worth it to satisfy an acai bowl craving once in a while. I got the Brazilian bowl that comes with strawberries, bananas, and large coconut flakes in top. Delicious! I would highly recommend eating in the store or driving home quickly because it turned soupy on my way back home. There was easy and free street parking out front (since it was Sunday). When I got there, there was one other customer in front of me, but I was in and out with an acai bowl in maybe 5 minutes. Just tried Juice Crafters for the first time and did not like it at all. I got the Talk O Town smoothie ($9 for the regular size). The smoothie was not very tasty and quite chunky, and pieces kept getting stuck in my straw. I asked the guys to blend it some more so I could actually drink it. This got really messy - the guys poured my drink into a used blender (don't know if it had been for my drink or the acai bowl after mine?? But gross) and proceeded to reblend my drink. They then pour it back into my used cup and replaced it with the used lid and straw which had been dumped on their prep table. There was smoothie all over the outside of my cup, and that is how they gave it back to me - very sticky and messy. I asked for a new cup and lid and straw and poured my drink into the new cup. However I was pretty grossed out with how unsanitary everything had been, and went outside and threw out my drink. Will not be back. I much prefer the cleanliness, service, and taste of Beaming Cafe or Backyard Bowls or the smoothies from Mrs Winston's down the street. read more

I love Juice Crafters, In their different locations, I've received great customer service, however, the service I received at this particular location was very unpleasant. The young cashiers stood at the register and when I addressed her, she gave me an attitude, as if I was bothering her. It's really sad to see that type of customer service from this branch. Nick makes the BEST bowls!!! I always stop off on my way to work on Friday's for an end of the week treat. Nick by far is the best! He always creates a nice clean fruit presentation in the bowl - he knows that people eat with their eyes first. It seems like he really cares about the product that's being served, which I like. He has never used questionable fruit (old/soft/rotten bananas) from other yelp photos in any of the bowls he's prepared for me. It shows that he has standards and when it comes to food, that's great to see! A juice crafters company tip, please add an option for tips when customers pay with a card!! I rarely have cash & having that option would be a great way to reward your crafters on a job well done! p.s. I love this juice shop. It's super cute and the staff is really friendly. I got the Green 2.5 freshly made juice which was excellent. I also tried their to go lentil salad which was delicious, a turmeric shot to go and two vegan cookies. Will definitely be visiting again soon :) I also love that they sell chia seeds, almonds, coconut water and a few other things because it's great to use in my cooking and all organic non gmo. read more

Truly 0 stars. The wait time wasn't even the issue--it was the beyond rude, dismissive and unpleasant service from the same guy (tall guy, yellow hat, led zep shirt). We were told after placing order that there would be a 20 min wait because of the high order volume, which is fine. 50 minutes later, we were still waiting on 2 acai bowls. Wow. Glad its not just me that experienced terrible customer service. I've been coming here since they opened. And everything has tasted great so far. I've bought gift cards for friends, tried everything from their cold pressed juices, shots, and smoothies. For the past week and a half I've been coming here for their Meal Replacement Smoothies at lunch. Today, I didn't get a smoothie, but went in with a friend who was purchasing one. She was given a frequent buyers card for her smoothie. I immediately was curious and asked why for every time I've come I never once was asked if I wanted or had a frequent buyers card. She started at me and shrugged her shoulders. I've spent about between $9-12 every time I've been there and planned to do the same every few days until I no longer worked across the street. I asked the other employees in the shop if I could just have a card for buying a smoothie the day before. She it was against their policy and rolled her eyes. Having worked in customer service for years, I understand, yes there are times you must adhere to company policy. But really? Isn't your job ultimately to satisfy your customers and hope they come back? Well, I'm not coming back. They're general apathy and indifference was off putting. I would of been happy if they were just nicer about it, but they seriously seem like they don't give a F. Lesson learned, save some money and make them at home. read more

I've gone to juice crafters about 4-5 times now for the acai bowl - can't say much about their juice or smoothies. I've had acai bowls from other places and would rather come back and pay the 9.99. Other ones I've had tend to be a little more icey which just melts into a watery cold soup. Yes it's on the pricey side, but consider this a meal. It's a very decent size with lots of toppings. I think the only complaint I have is that sometimes the strawberry isn't the most ripe so they're a little sour. I've never had any problems with the workers. :) read more

Lilly is always so welcoming every time I come in. She makes the best smoothies and acai bowls. I have been coming here for about a year now and have always had a positive experience and always great tasting yummy ingredients. The main critiques are that the acai portion is pretty liquid-like rather than firm, the size is kind of small for the $9.99 + tax you pay for, and they also are kind of slow from the time I ordered and when I got it. I really wanted to like this place. Sounds good, looks good and close to my house. I've tried the Pacific Love, the Crunchy Monkey and most recently the Silver Cup. My first two times ordering, the smoothies were just okay. The flavor just really isn't there despite all the yummy sounding ingredients. This last time though ordering the Silver Cup, was the nail in the coffin for me. The Silver Cup lists kale as one of the ingredients and I also paid to have them add cacao to it. I wait a couple of minutes and they blend it up and it comes up on the counter and it's almost white. White? If you've ever made a smoothie with either make or cacao, you know even the smallest amount turns the mix green or brown. Right? So I ask if he can put a bit more cacao in there. Three minutes later (I'm the only customer in there) and it comes back out a very very very light tan color. They hide the blender and the person making it behind a really tall counter so you can't even see what they're putting in your smoothies to begin with much less how much or what they're adding to "fix" them. Super suspicious. 1 star for tasteless smoothies, 1 star added because the employees making the crappy drinks are always really nice! Sorry Juice Crafters, you lose. read more

I originally went to the Brentwood location, but they opened this location which is literally hop and skip away from home. My regular is always the Divine Start without the agave, and I add ginger. Without fail, it always impresses me how consistent it always taste. It is awesome how it is a family run business. Owners and employees are extremely friendly, and always suggesting new things to try. They give free samples, and I stand there for 20 minutes deciding what I want, but the Divine Start always gets me. Cheers to yummy juices. read more

I had the chunky monkey smoothie and there is no monkeying around as it made me feel slightly chunkier than what I already am after I finished it....I say that with a good health conscience ...nutrition included. I didn't see any item pricing on their menu and while I do feel they charge higher than what I expect for a smoothie its Santa Monica. What am I going to do? Amazing. I go every morning for a smoothie, juice, or acai bowl, depending on my mood. My go-to smoothie after a workout is the Muscle Builder, which has blueberries, almond butter, plant-based protein and other delicious goodies. Their peanut butter energy bites are also great little snacks, and you feel amazing because you know you're eating food that is good for you. And I think it's funny that people complain about the acai. For one, it tastes delicious, but if it's runny, don't wait all day to eat it (duh). What I like is that they import their Acai from Brazil and it isn't what you'd find in the grocery store, pumped with sugar and additives. My favorite juice is their Cleanse Guru #12 with cucumber, coconut water and pineapple. And yeah it's pricey, but is it really cheaper to get a daily $5 frappuccino that's bound to give you diabetes one day? read more

Places like these that focus on health and quality ingredients should have enthusiastic team members that are happy to answer questions, etc, but the workers here have so much attitude and never crack a smile.
