I was excited to try to visit a vegan Thai restaurant. You will see a lot of the traditional Thai dishes made plant-based with only vegan ingredients. This place has a nice sized dining room, and was pretty full when we were there for dinner around 7 at night during the week. The service was pretty fast. I will say that the portion sizes are not very large. We ordered the tom yum soup, and it was a large single portion. We were able to ask for small bowls to share it, but that didn't seem to be the standard. The Pad Thai was good, as was the eggplant "catfish." Definitely a good find for vegans and those who want to try a plant-based diet!

Came here for a birthday party and ordered the Pad Ped Thai Eggplant $19 with a small brown rice bowl $5. It was delicious! Friends ordered a variety including the spring roll (nice), fried chicken, green curry rice, pad Thai, endive cups, vermicelli, etc. I didn't hear any complaints. Service was impeccable and friendly. Nice ambience with windows. No outdoor seating. Free parking on the small lot. The only con is that prices are a little high for some of the dishes with small portions.

My husband, a friend and I were looking for a restaurant in Santa Monica, a different experience. We saw this restaurant, and decided to try. The neighborhood is cute around. The restaurant is Dimple and elegant atmosphere. The service is nice, professional and kind. The food is delicious! The soup and chicken are delicious! It is a vegan chicken that reminds the real taste. The price, got Santa Monica, is really good! Also they accept small dogs. My friend loved the small planter on the table and got two for her! The owner made them , and they were very kind to sell them.

Stopped by on a Saturday night around 6pm. It wasn't super busy, but we had a reservation just in case as a group of 5. I haven't had that much vegan Thai food, but was fairly impressed with the entrees overall. Unfortunately, the appetizers were a miss. The grilled oyster mushrooms were cold. Jackfruit pate was just ok. The star of the show was the beet dyed noodles. The flavor profile was amazing. I would come back just to get that dish again. Portion sizes were a bit small. We got the taro tapioca pudding for dessert, which was pretty tasty. It's more heavy on coconut flavor than taro, but still delicious. Service was fine. Water was refilled quite quickly and we were checked on multiple times. The dessert took quite a long time to come out though. We were waiting with the table cleared for probably 10 minutes even though we ordered dessert at the same time as our entrees.

The food here is amazing. It's so flavorful as a long time vegetarian when I find a new spot that is nothing like I have ever tasted and has exploding flavors in my mouth. I get so excited! I would definitely recommend this place to anyone.

5 stars for this delicious plant based Thai food and restaurant that has been around for over 10 years! I was impressed by the presentation and tastiness of these options. The only thing that wasn't pleasant was the smell of bleach when we walked in. They are obviously clean but need to clean and air the restaurant out before people came in to eat. We don't want to smell the bleach which affected the ambiance. Overall the service and especially the food was very good. I would have given it 5 stars if it hadn't been for the bleach smell and the mango sticky rice was a bit dry. Plenty of free parking in the plaza.

The food was good, the ambiance was nice, and the service was consistent. Our server Natty did a great job with our table during the busyness of the dinner time crowd.

Overall solid vegan Thai food. We tried the fried chicken which was new in their menu. It was a bit overpriced for just a few pieces but it was pretty tasty. The eggplant and the green curry were solid. They have a small lot which generally has parking. Service was pretty fast.

Came here for dinner with a friend and it was just amazing. I have been trying to be better at my choices of food...and this didn't disappoint. It was a light dinner...I had tom yum soup and we ordered the brown rice with Southern Thai Fried "Chicken". All was very delicious, will definitely be back to try other menu items! Staff was very kind and helpful.

Had a lovely dinner here a couple of nights ago! The service was so welcoming and friendly as soon as we arrived and the dishes came out so promptly. This is my favorite Vegan Thai restaurant in serving up unique and truly high quality food. They don't use any faux meats but instead rely on the power of veggies and grains to make the dishes healthier and more flavorful. My favorite dish is the catfish eggplant despite that I am not an eggplant fan at all. Somehow they've changed my mind about how eggplant can actually taste good! I also love the tom yum soup which is so comforting yet spicy as well as the pad Thai. For the appetizer, we got the Tod munn, which truly did have the taste and texture of a fish cake. I also highly recommend the cheesecake as it wasn't overly sweet yet still was decadent and creamy with a lovely fruit compote. The ambiance was lovely and wasn't too noisy. The seats were so comfortable.

We've been coming here for years. It is one of our favorites in the neighborhood. Try the Pad Thai and also the Thai Ramen!

My go to is the Seoul bowl it's so good and perfectly marinated while still being health conscious 5/5. The newer tikka masala has been a fav lately- it's veggie based but the spices and flavor are on point, just as delicious as a non-vegan dish! I think with soy meat it could be even better, I'll see if that's an option next time, but this was 4.5/5. West coast shrimp side is really satisfying and savory. While I am not at all vegan, it can be a fantastic change of pace when trying a cuisine that is not at all my regular routine. Happily, Variable has tons of choices, and we loved what we got. I was drawn towards the 'N Seoul Bowl' (Korean spicy plant based pork, house marinated Kimchi, organic edamame, steamed organic spinach, carrot, steamed broccoli, onion , organic shiitake, topped with green onion and sesame seeds and side organic quinoa). So good, a bit spicy, and so many flavors on the plate it was impossible to not only love it, but I could not finish it, either. That goes from all their dishes. They are big, and in our experience, it came out piping hot soon after ordering it. My companion tried the 'Indian Tikka Masala' (homemade Indian curry, broccoli, cauliflower, zucchini, yellow squash, potatoes, cabbage, chickpea, micro green, Served with blend wild Jasmin rice and Indian Flat Bread). Tastes so fresh, hearty, with just enough of a kick to it. I look forward to trying some of their other dishes, too. The burger that the table near us ordered looked fantastic. I gotta think that everything here is pretty dang great.

What we ordered: + Chaga chai: Basically hot coffee with chai but much stronger earthy taste with the turmeric. If you like crunchy mushrooms, this is nice but a pass for me. + Spicy salmon hand roll: This is a fun one where you make your own hand roll. It's a February special. + Dragon: My favorite of all the sushi. This tastes the closest to real sushi because of the unagi sauce and I liked the slight chewy texture of the tempura inside. + Pressed & torched: If you like truffle sauce, this is a win but I'm less of a fan of how mushy/soft the rice is. Warm melted avocado is nice though. Parking was easy with street parking or valet. Street parking is metered for $2/hour but you can only pay one hour at a time. Set your alarms if you need more time.
