As much as I like this place, I came in today just for one single medium lava flow. Got there when there was only one person ordering. Great. All was well until a rush came and led to several people ordering after me as I am sitting waiting. I ended up staying there watching as other people who ordered after me get there drinks before me. Didn't pay it no mind the first two times. As I'm waiting patiently. There were about 6 groups of people who had gotten there drinks before my single medium lava flow. Two of the groups were parties of 3's as well. To top it off they didn't even remember what my order was, they had asked me once one of the workers noticed I was frustrated and was about to confront them about my drink because I had then realized they definitely forgot and don't even probably know. Horrible service and attention to detail. The girl who took my order glanced back at me about two or three times not even realizing the several amount of people who ordered after me getting there drinks before mine. Such a waste of my time. Spent about 30 minutes there. It just so happened that it was the coworker who didn't take my order who was the one who had asked me what I had ordered because she knew there then I was waiting for my drink for quite some time because of how annoyed I might've looked. Busy Sunday afternoon at this location, only two gals working and they did a great job working together, managing all the orders ( in store orders, pick-ups and phone orders) with out missing a beat. It's really hard to find anything healthy to eat or drink in Cypress. That said, if you're rating this place because it provides a healthy option in a sea of fried/fast food and hot plate Mexican, it gets high marks. But, that doesn't really fly. This place is nothing more than an opportunistic business cashing in on a super hot movement in food & beverage culture. There is zero indication that they source their produce and ingredients from non-GMO/organic/sustainable farms, and, to top it off, they serve everything in plastic containers and they don't recycle! I mean, come on guys, that's a no brainer. In terms of the actual food, the acai bowl I had was solid, pretty standard fare as far as acai bowls go, and it had some nice fresh fruit on top. I also had a wheat grass shot that, not surprisingly, tasted like a wheatgrass shot. Super bummed. I work at an establishment that sells drinks and food. So I'm willing to cut quite a bit of slack. Some days are bad days and some days you'd rather not come to work. I understand these things. That being said... I'm not saying that the cashier was rude but, maybe try not to look actively disgusted when you see a customer walk through the door? Maybe it was just my juice but you could feel tiny pieces of fruit. They blend the fruit instead of using a cold pressed juicer.

Love this place!! Owner is so sweet, remembers me by name and my order. Everyone is amazing and they even have my fav flavor that isn't on the menu anymore, CHAI!! Just a little disappointed, the last two times I've been there during open hours and they were closed. I have to go out of my way on the way to work to get my chai fix so it's a huge bummer when they are supposed to be open and aren't. It is supposed to be open at 9 and I showed up at 10 today and they still weren't open. I'll skip the intro and get to why I am giving this place 2 stars. I ordered one of the 8oz drinks for my niece after already ordering and receiving the previous drinks I had ordered. My order came up with another customer drink, she, thinking he had given her an extra drink took it.(honest mistake, they are tiny) She balanced the smaller one, my drink, on top of her other drinks and placed her chin on the lid to stabilize everything. She then proceeded out to her car, when the man at the counter realized she had taken my drink too he followed her out to her car and took the drink back. He then came in and placed the drink (THE ONE SHE HAD HER CHIN ON THE LID) our table. First off following a customer to get a drink back= tacky. Second EWW!!! He tried to remedy the situation by offering to remake the drink, and when I said no he offered a refund; however, it was not about the cost of the drink, it was the whole act in general. I also was very grossed out that he would think it is ok to follow a customer out and then give another customer a drink that has already left the store. I originally planned to give this place 1 star, but he did try to offere a solution, even if he didn't quite grasp that it should have been orrered first. I will not be back. read more

It is now 9:30am and there is still no one here. Truly an inconvenience to be waiting and not know when someone will show up. I am new to the world of juicing and have been struggling at getting the right mixtures on my own. A friend suggested that I try a few juicing bars to taste the different flavors. I went to Juice It Up and was excited about trying a green/sweet juice drink. I asked the server if there were other juices that they made besides the 4 that were listed on the menu (very plain, carrot, apple, etc.). She said yes and proceeded to list (no exaggeration) like 20 different fruits and vegetables. She said I could pick up to 5 for an extra 50 cents. She was so rude and impatient that I didn't want to ask her to repeat it. I asked her a couple of additional questions about the blend and since she was training a new employee she was visibly and verbally just obnoxious with her response. I almost walked out, but decided that she was just a kid and mad about her life and I really wanted to try one of the drinks. So, I called a friend of mine to offer some suggestions. After taking my order, I chose spinach, celery, apple, carrot and pear, I asked her to put an extra apple in the juice, she said that would be extra as well. I said no problem. I also ordered a shot of wheatgrass. She asked me if I wanted it on ice, I said yes that would be great. She said she would put it in a larger cup. I said no problem. After several minutes my order came up and she listed off the items that were in the juice minus the pear. When I asked her about it she said I didn't charge you for that. I said YES you did. You charged me for the 5 items plus extra for the extra apple. Geesh! After she snatched the drink back to add the pear she forgotten about my wheatgrass shot. When I mentioned it she had the employee in training give it to me. Because of the way she framed putting it on ice earlier in the transaction I asked her about the ice and she SNAPPED at me saying they never put their wheatgrass on ice. I kindly reminded her of what she said and walked out. I will not be returning to that location. My understanding is that they are individually owned, so I might...just might try another location, but I will NEVER return to this one!!! read more
