Been a regular at this spot for a while now since it opened. Although there are many things to improve on, one thing Better Buzz has hit the nail on the head is customer service. The coffee and food are great, nothing to complain about besides some of the sweetness levels. It can get very hectic in the mornings between 7-8am, as the store usually gets multiple people waiting for online orders from what I've seen so far. Josh is the first one to check up on my order if he sees me waiting! Special shout out to him. He'll get my order out to me super quick once he checks on what my order is waiting on. 10/10 customer service. Way better than across the way. read more

Got my BUZZ on and I'm locked in!! My first experience was over a week ago and I did drive thru. The lady who assisted me walked me through my order and was pleasant through every question I had. The drinks were delicious and smooth. Love that horchata magic they be whipping up. There was no wait and after I paid, I received my drinks and kept BUZZIN' along through my day. Last week, I had an opportunity to stop by with the A team and go inside. The vibe is both relaxing and sleek. Various seating (styles) to enjoy while getting your buzz fix. Brianna was welcoming, friendly, and made sure my order was spot on. They have something new called the egg and carnitas. I loved the blended drink I got! I think they need to make their açaí bowls a little thicker but maybe it was just the certain one I got that day. Great toppings though. I do recommend adding the extra recommended toppings. I love that they have a drive thru and staff was pretty nice. Love the ease of the app as well. I am a huge fan of Better Buzz. I ordered the best drink ever iced. Its an Americano with a vanilla cream. It was so good. The only thing I didnt like was the type of ice. It was not cold enough. I know thats random but some ice is better than others. I also wish they had creamers out by the sugar. Sometimes I like my coffee a specific color. The espresso here is very good. It has a distinct flavor. The blend is one of the better blends Ive tried. The shop is clean. They sell a lot of cool merch. Expensive merch. There is also a drive thru. read more

Im so happy for this location and better buzz heading more north of SD. The drive thru is busy and workers walk up to you with their tablets. I noticed their food menu is pretty long and diverse now. This is now the 2nd time coming to this location and I'm still not totally convinced that I like it. The first time I ordered, the girl behind the bar was non-engaging and a bit rude. It also took about 10 minutes longer than the estimated time my items would be ready. I got a free drink as a reward so I decided to redeem it. Well it was almost 25 minutes after the promised time before I received my drink. A girl asked me my name when I arrived and said they were still working on it. Then about 3 minutes later a guy comes over (maybe the manager) to tell me that they no longer make the drink flavor I ordered (Cherry Vanilla) He gave me other options and asked if I wanted a large size for the inconvenience. I stated that he could make the decision. The ONLY reason I'm giving this place 4 stars in because of the guy that actually helped me and also the drinks are pretty good. I may give them one more chance but if the customer service still sucks I will return to Starbucks that's in the same parking lot. read more

First couple times I've been were good but now the store lacks speed and customer service I've call the store and go no response, we have also emailed Joe and he said he wanted to make things right but failed to reply further. I see management trains the teams like them. Team member takes our order then inputs it like a minute late in the drive thru then forgets to warm up the bread like they asked and the sticker said. The drinks and the place itself were really good. The service was absolutely terrible. The woman at the front desk was making faces and had a very rude attitude toward us. It is important to mention that my friend speaks both English and Spanish and has an accent that is barely noticeable. The employee asked for her name, and my friend spelled it out for her. When my friend went to pick up her order, she spoke to the employee in English, but because she pronounced her name in Spanish, the employee rudely responded that she did not speak Spanish and could not understand her, even though my friend was speaking to her in English. The way she treated my friend was completely unnecessary and disrespectful. This felt like discrimination based on her name and the fact that she speaks Spanish. Stopped by the new Better Buzz Coffee in Stanton and was excited to check it out. First impressions were great. the space is bright, clean, modern, and has a really welcoming atmosphere. You can tell a lot of thought went into the design, and it feels like a place you could either grab something quickly or hang out for a while. The staff was friendly from the moment I walked in. Even with the excitement of a brand-new location, everyone was patient, welcoming, and kept things moving efficiently. It's always nice to see a new business open with employees who genuinely seem happy to be there. The drinks were made well and came out quickly. We got the banana matchas! Everything tasted fresh, and you can definitely tell why Better Buzz has built such a strong following. They have a menu that's different enough from the typical coffee chains that it's worth exploring beyond your usual order. One thing I also appreciated was how clean everything was. The dining area, condiment station, and overall store looked well maintained despite what I'm sure has been a busy opening period. If I had one small suggestion, it would be to continue refining the flow during the busy rushes as more people discover the location. That's pretty normal for any new business, though, and I'm confident it'll only get smoother with time. Overall, I'm really happy to have a Better Buzz closer to home. Great atmosphere, friendly staff, quality drinks, and a welcome addition to Stanton. Looking forward to coming back and trying more of the menu. read more

I finally had a chance to try Better Buzz today and I am a fan! I went through the drive thru close to 10 AM on a Saturday, and even though there were about 4-5 cars in front of me, I made it through fairly quickly. While I was waiting, I did download the app so that I could earn points, which I recommend doing beforehand if you can. I ordered a regular sized Horchata Latte ($6.59) and a Chili Jam Sausage Croissant sandwich ($9.99.). The barista asked if I wanted to add cinnamon cold cream to my drink and I said yes ( this is a $1 up charge.) Total came out to $18.45, which seemed on par with other popular coffee chains. The cashier was friendly and it was easy to have her scan the QR code in my app to earn points. The Horchata Latte tasted exactly as I had hoped- sweet, creamy, and smooth. The espresso was not overpowering and blended very well with the horchata flavor. The Chili Jam Sausage croissant was excellent! It was toasted perfectly and had the right amount of egg, arugula, cheese and sausage. I do wish there was a bit more of the jam though since it was so good! Overall, I had a very good experience. When I got home, I received a notification that I had earned a free regular drink on my next trip since I signed up in the app. It was a nice surprise and welcome reward! I came here for the first time to try this coffee shop after seeing one while visiting my friend in San Diego. When I looked up the closest location near me, I was excited to find one here in Stanton! The ambiance looked cute from the inside as I was in the drive thru. I tried the Pumpkin Chai Coffee and added pumpkin foam, and it was absolutely delicious! I especially liked that I didn't experience the usual migraine or sugar-level crash feeling afterward. My only suggestion would be to make it a little colder, as mine tasted somewhere between warm and cold. I would have enjoyed it more if it were served extra cold. Overall, this is a great coffee shop! I also tried the Turkey Pesto Sandwich, and it was so delicious Idefinitely recommend it. So far this is my favorite coffee shop. I usually order an iced latte with oatmilk. The coffee is way better than Starbucks. The only reason I'm taking off a star is because the large cup is so flimsy. I've spilled my entire coffee twice on separate occasions because of the low quality of the cup. I haven't had any issues with the regular size only the larger size. That is literally my only complaint since the coffee tastes great. But please invest in better cups. I haven't had this issue with other coffee shops. read more

I don't normally leave negative reviews, but I wanted to bring something to management's attention. I went through the drive-thru and paid by tapping my card. The employee didn't offer me a receipt, and after I tapped my card, she pulled the payment terminal back very quickly. Something about the interaction felt off, so about 20 minutes later I checked my credit card transactions. Sure enough, I saw that a 20% tip had been added to my order. I did not intend to leave a tip and don't recall being given the opportunity to approve one. Had the payment terminal remained in front of me or had I been offered a receipt, I likely would have caught it immediately. I'm not accusing anyone of intentional wrongdoing, but this experience was concerning enough that I felt it was important to share. I hope management reviews the payment process to ensure customers clearly see and approve any gratuity before a transaction is completed. Transparency is important, and I'd appreciate this being looked into so it doesn't happen to anyone else. read more

I've only visited this BB location twice since it opened, and service is incredibly mixed. My first visit -- I ordered inside and the process was effortless. The employee who was helping me was very sweet and patient with me. He made a mistake in my order, but quickly corrected it. I got what I ordered in less than 10 minutes. My second visit -- I ordered using their app. I placed the order at 7:15 with a pickup 8:00 time. I arrived a little before 7:55, and I saw that there was nothing in the pickup area. 8:10 rolls around, nothing. It took a while for me to tag a person to find out what's going on. For whatever reason, they placed all the online orders behind the counter. Not sure how that helps anyone. But logistically, it seemed like a chaotic mess for anyone picking up online orders. I'll probably avoid ordering with the app for now until they figure this out. read more
