I had a really disappointing experience today at Juice It Up! I usually like coming here for something quick and refreshing, but this visit was not it. First off, the customer service was lacking. The staff didn't greet me when I walked in, and when I finally ordered, it felt like I was inconveniencing them. No friendliness, no eye contact--just rushed and dismissive. The wait time was also longer than it should've been considering it wasn't that busy. When I finally got my order, it wasn't even made correctly. The smoothie tasted off and watered down, and the texture was inconsistent like it hadn't been blended properly. Definitely not what I'm used to from this place. On top of that, the place didn't look very clean. The counter area had spills and the topping station looked messy, which honestly made me question the quality and care put into the drinks. For the price you pay here, you expect better quality and service. This visit missed the mark in every way. I won't be coming back to this location anytime soon and would suggest trying a different smoothie spot in the area instead. read more

Went in today and ordered a large "Greentox Smoothie". WTF IS THIS?!? I only ever get the greentox smoothie and this is not it! Why is it brown with white streaks in it? I asked the girl working very nicely "hey, shouldn't it be green?" And she said "that just happens sometimes...when it blends". Then she walked away before I could ask her to remake it. Happy Veteran's Day! I am grateful for the opportunities I have had in my life and for this appreciation and very nice complimentary smoothie today from Juice It Up in Rancho Cucamonga. Chastity and Paola were delightful, professional and made us delicious drinks - the Energizer for my much better half( again actually my way better 95 percent) with apples, pineapple, red grapes, spinach, cucumber and ginger. Truly an instant energizer! I tried the very blue and mellow looking Vital Proteins Blue Smoothie with an interesting, unique and absolutely delectable combination of mangoes, pineapple, yogurt., spirulina & LEMONADE( yessss!). Loved it! The new menu( since my last time at JIU in Canyon Country Ca in 2018) 70 miles away looks really cool. Servers were rude today (3/8 12pm), I don't normally come to Juice it up so I'm not really familiar. I ordered a vital proteins blue bowl without toppings, and the employee laughed at me saying "You don't want toppings?" And i feel humiliated and confused and i didn't happen to see that there was an option for different toppings, but she didn't recommend me anything. I'm not familiar with Ontario, but I was lucky enough to find this place. I come out here once in a while to workout. I needed a healthy post workout meal and this spot was perfect. Funny how we sometimes don't see people, places, and things until we're actually looking for them and then we see them. This is exactly what happened to me with this Juice It Up! (JIU!) I have been on an Acai Berry Smoothie for a few months now. I love the one made by JIU! Large 32 oz is what I normally get. Pho Bambu is my go-to for pork chop and rice which happens to be two doors down from this JIU! I did not realize that JIU! was that close and within reach until this past weekend LOL. I knew it was a juice joint, but I didn't really look that closely to realize it was a JIU! And I've been going to Pho Bambu for many years. I guess my juice craving didn't start until now LOL. Upon entry to this JIU, I was the only customer. Perfect so I can take lots of pictures. This shop is nice and clean. Lighting could be a little bit brighter though. It was a tad dim around the menu area. Staff was very friendly and pleasant. Funny, I love to share my stories whenever I get the opportunity and I did just that on how I didn't realize they were a JIU! with the lady behind the counter. She graciously listened to my story. As I was ordering my usual large 32 oz. Acai Bery Smoothie, she asked me if I have the JIU! app. If I didn't, I could sign up and get a free small smoothie. I said I don't remember. I went through the whole process of signing up and it turned out my email was already in the system. Yeah, I'm already signed up LOL, hence, no free smoothie and that's okay. The good thing is that now I know and I can start getting points for my purchases since I will be visiting this JIU! more often. Obviously, I forgot all about my JIU! subscription LOL. We went to this location and I pulled up a deal in my rewards app. I ordered the classic smoothie Melon Madness and my husband got a strawberry horchata. I scanned the QR code in the image attached with the scanner at the register.When I got my receipt, I noticed it rang up as $6.99. I waited until the next person had finished ordering and brought it to the cashier's attention. She claimed that wasn't the code I scanned and showed her. I proceeded to ask her how that exact code number was at the top of my receipt (circled in red in the images) if I didn't scan it. Her response was to ask me if I wanted to buy another drink and she would give me the discount. Two people didn't need three drinks, I asked if she could refund the difference. She claimed they don't do refunds. So beware, if the cashier doesn't know how to hit the apply button or if you're incorrectly charged, they don't do refunds and are not happy to be working there. I've twice ordered the protein açaí bowl using their app. It is super tasty! Just a heads up cause it wasn't super clear on the app- the pictured item is a suggestion. When you add toppings it is not adding ADDITIONAL toppings to your bowl that is pictured...you have to select any of the toppings you'd like. Overall though I enjoyed juice it ups bowls. I ordered The Zone Smoothie which was super yummy and satisfying. The Zone has peanuts, peanut butter, banana & non fat yogurt. It wasn't overly sweet and it also has protein powder and you can choose whey or soy. Most recently I've tried the California Cooler, Lava Flow, and my absolute favorite Lucky Lemon Punch. Wheatgrass shots are delicious (acquires tastes) and very healthy. Growing up a vegan, a wheatgrass juicer sat in the kitchen and juice was made frequently so I greatly appreciate what wheatgrass can do for a body. Not quite my usual concoction but it was green and it had some good stuff in it. Tasted ok - I think the orange juice makes it too sweet and there should be a protein component. Overall, it was a good start but the price was a bit steep for such a product of four ingredients. It think it ended up being CAN$10+.
